of dissertation This dissertation is entitled The administration and office work of town Krupka in early modern period with the subheading The development of town administration till 1710. The main goal of this work is, on the basis of the extant achival sources, to acquaint with the development of administration of mining town, of which specific is not only mining as a pricipal source of livelihood of its inhabitants, but also its location on the border with neighbouring Saxony. Another goal of this dissertation is to present the offices of municipal and mining administration and also names of specific people in these offices, if they are still extant in the sources or literature. The content of this dissertation is proceed in the first place from abundantly extant archives, which is placed in archiv in Teplice, primarily from memorial books, official books and file material. This dissertation is divided into several sections. The first mainstay includes summarization of history of administration of town Krupka, description of relations between town Krupka and manorial lords, religious circumstances and also development of mining. Tax Registers of the Town of Rakovnik, 1436-1449 [1450] The dissertation deals with financial administration of bohemian cities in the Middle Ages and its reflection in municipal financial books. The main focus is involvement of cities in the state tax administration. The municipal tax registers were also studied as sources for research of economic and social structure of medieval cities. To the communication of the towns in the period before the Battle of the White Mount (The correspondence among New Town of Prague and some king's towns in the central part of Polabí)

The submitted thesis aims to scan the written communication among the city councils of royal towns in the period before the Battle of the White Mount, particularly the correspondence among the New Town of Prague and Royal Towns in the Central Part of Polabí, explicitly Český Brod, Kolín, Kouřim, Kutná Hora and Nymburk. The research was based mainly on 20 town registers of the period and on the extant scripts which enabled me to set up both the communication process and particular agents. Thus we were offered the insight into the townhall, its offices, circumstances of the origin of missivs, we observed individual characters and institutions involved in the negotiation procedures. We came across the issue of messenger service mediating the delivery and last but not least we were concerned about receiving correspondence, its interpretation at the time and the content of discussed matters. Another issue we dealt with was the terminology ie. definition of written communication, diplomacy terminology, especially register issue defined as supplemental office book in publishers'offices containing the office scripts.
