Ambrosio, Šárka ; Kropáček, Luboš (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Zdeněk (referee)
Morální principy v současném šíitském islámu, zvl. Íránu a Iráku Moral Princips In contemporey Shi'a islam (esp. In Iran and Iraq) Šárka Ambrosio In this body of work we look at the moral principles of the Shiite Muslims faith and their reasons for fundamentalism in the second half of the 20th century. The morality of the Shiite faith is a delicate balanced between religion and politics. If the political and the religious institutions do not work in harmony, the typical results are society and economical disruption. Even in a secular state, non-believing citizens who have a basic moral value to live a peaceful co- existences can be disarrayed by conflicts within government and church. What then comes into question is the role the state takes in compliance with certain laws that effect the populous. The answer often defaults to the moral beliefs people have about their understanding of their Creator. There is the claim that morality has no authority. Thus, peoples faith in God and the knowledge of His law ensures a harmony in a social structure. It is no co-incidence that a growing Western pressure in the second half of the 20th century has equated to a growth in Eastern Islam fundamentalist. There is a cause and effect. The solution is not simple but peace can only be founded if the Eastern...
Therapeutic Elements of a Homeopathic Interview
Plánská, Kateřina ; Vojtíšek, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Ondrušová, Jiřina (referee)
This thesis deals with the issue of therapeutic elements of a homeopathic interview. First, key differences between classic medicine and homeopathy are discussed. Some of the fundamental elements in a homeopathic interview follow, concluding with more in depth examination of themes in homeopathic interviews, their principles and conduct. Finally, Roger's therapy is closely analyzed with emphasis on psychotherapeutic interviews. The last part of my thesis is devoted to the practical work on the recordings of homeopathic interviews and their analyses. In this section I am revealing the therapeutic aspects hidden inside of each individual interview. I am approaching this process firstly from the point of view of the general principles, which are characteristic for the both standpoints mentioned above (homeopathic and psychotherapeutic), and then I am selecting the concrete examples to evaluate and interpret the constituent therapeutic elements. The aim of this work is to examine and discover aforementioned therapeutic aspects of homeopathy, as well as describe therapeutic influences on homeopathic interviews.
Claim for Truth and the Challenge of Religious Pluralism: State of Discussion in Present-day Christianity
Mrázek, Miloš ; Hošek, Pavel (advisor) ; Štampach, Ivan (referee) ; Vojtíšek, Zdeněk (referee)
The thesis dicusses different responses to the challenge of religious pluralism in Christianity. It focuses on the question of how the present-day Christians respond to this challenge, how they relate to the traditional claim of the unique truth of Divine revelation in Christian teaching, and how they understand the concept of truth itself in this context. The text thus maps different trends and movements in current Christianity and introduces problems concerning the definition of the concept of religious pluralism in religious studies and the issues of the current philosophical discussion on the nature of truth - both in general and in religious discourse in particular. Spirituality in the Addiction Treatment
Kárová, Lydie ; Vojtíšek, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Philippová, Lenka (referee)
Spiritualita při léčbě závislosti Spirituality in the Addiction Treatment Lydie Kárová In my work, Spirituality in the Addiction Treatment, I focus on spirituality as a component of personality, which is involved in its formation and development. The work falls into three parts, in the first one I place spirituality into the Czech environment and present its definition, in the second part I look for the role of spirituality in the conception and treatment of addiction and in the third one I present four specific spiritual methods applied in the treatment of addiction. In all parts I work with a spirituality model by Zdeněk Vojtíšek. Seven levels of this model together form a complex component, which is spirituality. The starting concept of the spirituality model is that the individual levels transmit each other, they do not function separately, they can be variously represented and their source can be anything. This confirms an example of addiction that operates on all these levels. I define addiction as a dependent relationship that does not distinguish between forms of addiction, but emphasizes their common features. Spirituality and addiction are complex components of an individual that relate to his/her whole person. In order to change the personality, a safe and stimulating environment is...
