The representation of socially disadvantaged groups in the social sector of buisness in the Czech Republic
Bělohlávková, Rut ; Šťastná, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Petr (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the topic of social enterpreneurship in the Czech Republic and is specifically focused on the work integration of particular needy groups (such as ex-convicts, long- term unemployed, disabled persons and former alcohol or drug addicts etc.). The aim of the thesis is to identify patterns and regularities between specific groups and types of social enterprises they work for. The secondary data analysis explores social enterprises registered at czech social enterpreneurship website as well as the groups they employ and compares different approches of the enterprises. The qualitative empirical research uncovers enterpreneurs' motives and furthermore explores connections between the types of social enterprises and the target groups they employ.
Social farming
Prosová, Zuzana ; Šťastná, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Petr (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to present the concept of social farming and to see if it is a suitable method of social integration of people with health and social disadvantages. It is an innovative approach that brings together two concepts: multifunctional agriculture and social services. The theoretical part of the thesis clarifies the idea of social economy and social business. It also focuses on social farming in the Czech Republic and Europe. It defines its theoretical background, actors and sources of funding. The thesis examines the link between agricultural activities and social work, benefits and limits of the concept for employees, farmers and the local community, and further focuses on the current problems that social farming in the Czech Republic is facing and that hinder its development. The data was obtained through semi- structured interviews. The results of the research showed countless benefits for all involved. The biggest disadvantage was the ignorance of the concept and the associated underestimation in society.
Structure analysis of molecular crystals
Janíček, Jakub ; Císařová, Ivana (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Pavel (referee)
Summary: Diploma thesis covers characterization of molecular crystals by X-ray structural analysis. N-carbamimidazoylisonikotinamid and 1-phenylguanidin were chosen, because their potential use in second harmony generation. Their salts with inorganic acids were prepared and determined their structures. Phase transition of 4,6-diaminopyrimidinium nitrate was studied by x-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry. This phase transition is accompanied by thermosalient effect, causing that the crystals jump. Keywords: thermosalient, jumping crystal, X-ray diffraction, non-linear optics, N-carbamimidazoylnikotinamid, 1-phenylguanidin, 4,6diaminopyrmidin.
Applied Mineralogy in Forensic Science field
Kotrlý, Marek ; Matějka, Dobroslav (advisor) ; Kopecká, Ivana (referee) ; Vojtíšek, Pavel (referee)
1 ABSTRACT Surprisingly, applied mineralogy plays an important role in the forensic science field. It is the miner- alogical phases which exist in many kinds of materials and traces but also the mineralogical analysis procedures which are often used in the field of so called trace evidence. For purposes of this study, 4 important fields of forensic microanalysis were chosen. These are those fields in which applied min- eralogy is applied and which characterize the width and heterogeneity of the concerned area. Powder X-ray microdiffraction plays quite an important and irreplaceable role not only in the direct phase analysis of substances in mixtures. The author designed, tested and introduced a set for centra- tion and direct check of the analysed surface during micro-diffraction analysis and also experimentally optimised sensing parameters for the different system configuration. A possibility to calculate the size of the nanoparticles (more precisely the size of a mono crystal domain) was tested. XRD methods ap- plication allows refining organic analysis for example in the case of new synthetic drugs. Micro diffrac- tion was also used for the first complex phase analysis of colour layers of the altar in the chapel in the castle of Křivoklát (dated 1480 - 1490). Forensic analysis of soil phases used to be,...
The roles of participants involved in foster care for a temporary period in Prague and the Central Bohemian Region
Vajcová Lipenská, Ilona ; Pazlarová, Hana (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Petr (referee)
in English language This thesis focuses on foster care for a transitional period. The aim of the thesis is to describe the role of foster carers for a transitional period, OSPOD workers and foster family guides in period between the process of taking a foster child for a transitional period and re-transferring to a biological family or one of the long-term types of foster care. The thesis describes foster care for a transitional period and individual roles according to available literature, legislation, methodology and interviews with actors themselves. The partial goal is to find out how participants perceive each other, what they expect, what competencies they should have. Another partial aim of this work is methodological recommendation.
Construction of a new social service for multiple-problem clients
Kocmánková, Dagmar ; Matoušek, Oldřich (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Petr (referee)
The bachelor thesis "Construction of social service for multi-problem clients" deals with barriers in the use of social services by apparent homeless people, maps their needs and proposes a new low-threshold social service based on obtained data from a qualitative survey. The new social service presents models to overcome barriers, addresses the legislative framework of the service, and proposes a type of organization that could deliver the service. Adaptation to homelessness
Preložníková, Tereza ; Havránková, Olga (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Petr (referee)
(in English): The content of the bachelor thesis is how the current homeless people have adapted to a homelesslife. In thetheoretical part the thesis deals with issues of homelessness in general, forms of homelessness, also the specifics of people without shelter, the adaptation proces for homelessness and organizations dealing with homelessness. The practical part of the thesis deals directly with the adaptive process of living without a home. This part of the thesis is realized by semi-structured interview with persons without shelter and case reports.
Forms of Intersectoral Cooperation in Field of Primary Prevention in Kladno
Haman, Jakub ; Vojtíšek, Petr (advisor) ; Šťastná, Jaroslava (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to show how the intersectoral cooperation between state and non- profit sectors works in city of Kladno and whether it is possible to apply theoretical knowledge on the area. The ability of cooperation of the subjects is demonstrated in field of primary prevention of minors. Theoretical part of the thesis speaks about terms of intersectoral cooperation and primary prevention and offers a summary of the most common relevant theories. Research part is represented by analysis of collected data (qualitative dialogues) and clarifying particular forms of cooperation. The method used for collecting data is interviewing for eight subjects of state- and six subjects of non-profit sector. Final analysis shows the situation of intersectoral cooperation in Kladno and describes important qualities of subjects, usual problems and potential challenges for future development.
Complexes of 1,4,7-triazacyclononane derivatives
Kubinec, Jan ; Kubíček, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Pavel (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to prepare monoamide of macrocycle H3NOTA, which was prepared by multiple step synthesis. Ligand was characterized by NMR, MS and X-ray difraction analysis. Acid-base properties were studied by potentiometric titrations. Four protonation constants pKa`s were found and these protonation constants are lower than pKa`s of H3NOTA. Coordination properties with selected metal ions from the first row of transition metal, metal ions of biological interest and with lithium ions were investigated by potentiometric titration. Stability constants show that monoethylamide derivative of macrocycle H3NOTA forms complexes with lower stability than diethylamide derivative of macrocycle H3NOTA. Stability constants for complexes which contains amide group are lower than for H3NOTA complexes. Kinetics of Ga3+ complexation was investigated at different pH by 71 Ga NMR. The rate constants of and half-lives of complexation were determined at pH = 1. The rate constant was higher and the half-life of complexation was shorter than for H3NOTA ligand. Key words: macrocyclic complexes, thermodynamic stability, formation kinetics, radiopharmaceutical
