Terms of Old Age Pension Rights
Votruba, Petr ; Vojtíšek, Petr (advisor) ; Hanuš, Daniel (referee)
(in English) The main aim of the thesis is to propose the possibilities of changing the eligibility criteria for retirement pension, which are the attainment of retirement age and the required insurance period. In the theoretical part, the thesis mainly describes the development of the pension system and its changes in this millennium in relation to the eligibility criteria for retirement pension, the work of pension commissions and the recommendations of experts and professional organizations for modification of the system. In the theoretical part, other related areas are described with claim conditions that may affect them and must also be worked within the system for possible change proposals. The practical part uses secondary data analysis of political documents, opinion polls, statistical data and comparisons of international research to propose the options for changes, where the main goal is to provide greater stability and sustainability of the first continuous pillar. Keywords: old-age pension, pension entitlement conditions, pension reform, pensioner, insurance period, retirement age, pension
The needs of legal guardians of people with challenging behaviour and physical aggression.
Salačová, Barbora ; Vojtíšek, Petr (advisor) ; Hanuš, Daniel (referee)
(in English): The aim of this thesis is to find out how the social system treats people caring for people with autism spectrum disorders and challenging behaviour with physical aggression, and which institutional and informal support it offers and provides. The first part of the thesis focuses on autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disability, challenging behaviour and physical aggression. This part of the thesis serves mainly to put into context the demands of caring for these individuals. What caring entails, how a person with this disability manifests themselves and the justifiable need for quality support from the social system. The second part of the thesis describes what support resources the state has at its disposal to facilitate the care of legal representatives. Its aim is to acquaint with the similarities and differences of social housing systems in selected European countries through the method of comparative analysis. The output of the comparison is the identification of elements in foreign systems, carried out through interviews with experts that could help improve the practice of social housing in the Czech Republic.
Coordinatively unsaturated complexes of macrocyclic amides
Mojžíšová, Adéla ; Kotek, Jan (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Pavel (referee)
Growing number of citizens in developed countries suffers from neurodegenerative diseases. According to World Health Organization (WHO) dementias affect 55,2 million people and their incidence was doubled over last 20 years. Althought the number of cases is increasing, there is still no effective way for their diagnostics or treatment. With development of implantology, there are still common bacterial diseases as a result of formation of bacterial biofilms on unnatural surfaces. The development of synthetic nucleases which could prevent formation of biofilms is therefore one of the scientific aims. The aim of this bachelor thesis is preparation of polyazamacrocycles which contain amino and amidic functional groups. It can be assumed that these compounds will deprotonate amidic groups after coordination of copper(II) ion. These systems are designed to serve as agents for diagnostics of neurodegenerative diseases using positron emission tomography. In addition, as the complexes are coordinatively unsaturated, they can potentially show an artificial nucleases activity and ability to hydrolytically cleave bacterial biofilms.
Social services for soldiers and veterans in the Czech Republic
Housová, Karolína ; Kodymová, Pavla (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Petr (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of social services for war veterans on the territory of the Czech Republic. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals primarily with the issue of the problems veterans can return home with, but also with, the care provided to war veterans. The practical part is devoted to research dominated by this research question: What is the status of social services for soldiers and veterans in the Czech Republic?. Here too, they are an important part of the sub-question that reads: How are these services used?, or what other services are needed?. The main aim is to map as comprehensively as possible the current state of social services for war veterans on the territory of the Czech Republic and to find out what experience veterans have with them.
Dimer macrocyclic complexes
Rys, Jan ; Kubíček, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Pavel (referee)
This thesis is focused on dimer macrocyclic ligands and their complexes. Two dimer macrocyclic ligands based on ligand DO3A, linked with xylyl linker were prepared (BDO3A-p-X a BDO3A-m-X). Both synthetized ligands were characterized using NMR, MS, EA and in the case of BDO3A-p-X by X-ray crystallography. Data for calculating pseudo-first order reaction rates for complexations with Ce3+ metal ion and their pH dependency were obtained by use of UV/VIS spectrophotometry. Obtained data were compared to structurally close monomer ligand BnDO3A. Dimer ligands display different coordination properties based on proximity and position of coordinating cavities. Both prepared ligands behave differently than structurally close monomer ligand BnDO3A.
Social work with users of non-alcoholic addictive substances with psychiatric comorbidity in contact centers
Krejčová, Karolína ; Dvořáková, Monika (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Petr (referee)
Bachelor's thesis presents the form of social work in low-threshold social services called contact centers, The empirical part builds on the theoretical part and examines the challenging situations that social workers face to in a work with users of addictive non-alcoholic substances who suffer from mental illness. The tools and sources of support they use to deal with specific challenging situations are also introduced. For the purpose of the research qualitative study, social workers from the territory of the capital city Prague and the Central Bohemian Region are involved. Keywords psychiatric comorbidity, dual diagnosis, contact centers, social work, social worker, low-threshold service
Ethical dilemmas of shelter workers for families with children and possibilities of their solution
Kadlečková, Markéta ; Vojtíšek, Petr (advisor) ; Kodymová, Pavla (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the ethical dilemmas of workers in shelters for families with children and the possibilities of their solution. The theoretical part is focused at first on shelters in the Czech Republic, then on one specific shelter for families with children and finally on ethical dilemmas. The practical part contains a description of the qualitative research approach. It includes the area and metodology of research, the technique of data collection, specific partial research questions and also the research and survey unit. The interpretation part focuses on outputs detected through semi-structured interviews realized with nine workers (2 workers of social services and 7 social or managerial workers) in four different shelters in the Czech Republic. In this section, the reader is acquainted with the most important ethical dilemmas of these employees. In the end of the practical part is the answer to the main research question "what dilemmas do shelter workers consider to be the most serious and in what ways do they solve them?".

With regard to the specifics of the target group, the thesis continues with a list of approaches, methods and techniques that can be used in working with clients. The empirical part aims to find out what forms of support are available to the target group in the Czech Republic. Through a quantitative survey, the research found out which entities provide support and what specific form this support takes. The research was preceded by a pilot survey, which addressed children's homes in the Czech Republic. The children's home questionnaire asked whether the facilities cooperated with organizations that provide support to the target group and what are the eventual organizations. Based on further research, the list of organizations was supplemented and represented a research...
