Critical Factors of ERP System Implementation for Manufacturer of Industrial Gaskets
Vodička, Jakub ; Havlínová, Petra (referee) ; Sodomka, Petr (advisor)
Thesis deals with design and integration of enterprise information system in a manufacturing company. Main part of this work is to design a detailed plan of implementation including identification of critical factors and ensure the prerequisites for system operation. The outcome of this work is to create the asset for both sides of contractual relationship.
Class proceedings in Czech legislation
Vodička, Jakub ; Sedláček, Miroslav (advisor) ; Smolík, Petr (referee)
Class proceedings in Czech legislation Abstract The thesis deals with the class proceedings in the Czech legislation. Its aim is to contribute to the expert debate about the emerging class proceedings legislation within the Czech civil procedural law. For this reason, the thesis analyses the topic of the class proceedings, which the Czech expert public has treated mostly theoretically so far. The thesis focuses on the published bill on the class proceedings that was considered by the Czech Chamber of Deputies until 2021. Apart from a critical analysis of the legislative text, the thesis compares it with other relevant regulations and foreign approaches. The comparison provided is two-fold: firstly with the new European Directive on Representative Actions, secondly with the Austrian legal approach to class action. From a methodological viewpoint, the thesis mostly uses the analytical, comparative and synthetic methods. Within the analysis of different legislations, the author uses a positivist approach, while during the analysis of the suggested legislation the methodological approach is normative. In the introduction, the thesis examines the class action institute from a theoretical viewpoint. Subsequently, the current Czech class action legislation included in the Code of Civil Procedure is analysed along...
Latest Ludlow chitinozoans from the Prague Basin: significanec for correlations and succession during Kozlowskii/Lau extinction events
Vodička, Jakub ; Fatka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Štorch, Petr (referee)
Two sections, Všeradice and Kosov, represent continuous sedimentary succession situated in the Prague Basin. No detailed research on stratigraphical level equal the N. kozlowskii graptolite zone focusing on chitinozoans, has not yet been conducted in the Prague Basin and is also very scarce globally. Limestone beds, examined for chitinozoans, were not very productive. Chitinozoan reaction on extinction is visible, if we compile data from both sections. The pre-extinct chitinozoan fauna is characterized by the Conochitinidae family. Samples from the post-extinct interval contained no chitinozoas. The interval of fauna recovery is characterized mainly by the Eisenackitina genera. In this interval, global zone for the uppermost Ludfordian, represented by E. barrandei, can be confirmed. In agreement with all the published literature, we have not found E. philipi, index taxa of the former global zone in the Prague Basin. E. lagenomorpha appears stratigraphically only slightly below E. barrandei and therefore it cannot substitute E. philipi, as it is used in Baltika region. chitinozoa, Prague Basin, Kozlowskii, Lau, extinction, Ludfordian, stratigraphy
Ordovician and Silurian chitinozoa from the Prague and Welsh basins: the impact of chitinozoan biology and ecology on biostratigraphic applications
Vodička, Jakub ; Fatka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Verniers, Jacques (referee) ; Miller, Merrell (referee) ; Meidla, Tõnu (referee)
Chitinozoans have a great potential for biostratigraphic correlation of Ordovician through to Devonian marine sedimentary sequences. However, the question of chitinozoan biological affinities remains unresolved. Consequently, also the question of their palaeoecology and mode of life is a matter of discussion. Incorrect interpretation of both these questions can influence the accuracy of chitinozoan-based correlation. Four peer-review studies dealing with chitinozoan biostratigraphy, paleoecology and biological affinities are presented in this thesis. Studied chitinozoan material originated from two areas, the Prague Basin (Czech Republic) and the Welsh Basin (U.K.). Exceptionally preserved chitinozoan clusters with parallel oriented vesicles have been described from the Ordovician rocks of the Welsh and the Prague basins. These clusters have been termed P-clusters and interpreted as remains of an egg mass and support the interpretation of chitinozoans as eggs of unknown metazoans, the chitinozoophorans. The material figured in previous contributions proves the presence of P-clusters in all three chitinozoan families, spanning from the Ordovician to the Devonian and across the palaeo-globe. The P-clusters indicate that a benthic phase must have been included in the chitinozoan spreading cycle....
