Preparation of nanocrystalline ceramic materials made from zirconia oxide
Vlček, Ondřej ; Prajzler, Vladimír (referee) ; Šťastný, Přemysl (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on preparation of nanocrystalline stabilized zirconia ceramics. The theoretical part is dedicated to zirconia ceramics. Theoretical part describes and unveil the transformation-induced toughening mechanism in partially stabilized zirconia ceramics, the processing routes of these ceramic materials and their utilization. The research part describes preparation of yttria partially stabilized nanocrystalline zirconia ceramics by slip casting method.
Optimization of simulation parameters in the process of spraying a metal die
Vlček, Ondřej ; Šotka, Pavel (referee) ; Krutiš, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis, prepared for Škoda Auto, deals with the optimization of die casting simulation parameters in software ProCast. The aim was to develop and validate a methodology for inputting die spray parameters. The optimization itself was performed on a high pressure die casting simulation for an engine block casting. The temperature field was taken from the real die using a thermographic camera and then compared with the simulation. The parameters of the simulation were adjusted according to the experimentally obtained data and literature, and the course of optimization required changing not only the parameters related to the external treatment, but also the material models, or changing the heat transfer coefficient between the die and the casting. By the procedure, the temperature field of the original simulation, which differed from reality by more than 100 °C, was optimised so that the results at the measured locations did not reach a difference of more than ± 20 °C. Therefore, the procedure used can be applied as the required methodology for optimising further simulations.
Blender Add-on for Simulation of Water Erosion
Vlček, Ondřej ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Chlubna, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is adding terrain erosion functionality to Blender. The solution presented here implements hydraulic erosion based on textures and the use of the graphics card. Compared to other existing solutions this add-on utilizes parallel processing, offers an alternate workflow for erosion and creates additional information usable in further rendering of the model.

Title: Analysis of offensive combinations of the Czech national team women's World Cup 2010 in Japan and its comparison with the women's team PVK Olymp Praha. Aim: The aim of this thesis is to compare the success of offensive combinations of the Czech national team women's World Cup 2010 in Japan and its comparison with the women's team extraligovým PVK Olymp Praha in the domestic league. Method: I used the method of analysis of video games in the Czech women's representation in the 2010 World Cup in Japan and PVK Olymp Praha team I always watched and analyzed live from Olymp's Hall in Prague and its rivals. For more accurate results, I also used video recordings of selected matches. The analysis is presented graphically, and I also made a quantitative and qualitative research offensive combinations constructed under separate analysis. Results: The results clearly show the differences between the two teams being compared in their offensive combinations and their success. Keywords: Volleyball Individual sporting activities Offensive punch Offensive combination Women's senior volleyball Women's top domestic competition World Cup 2010 in Japan
Geografické informační systémy a jejich využití v komerčním podniku

Geographical information systems and their implementation in a com-mercial company. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2015. This Bachelor thesis is focused on the implementation of a geographical infor-mation system in a commercial company, more specifically in Kovona system, Inc., and is divided between theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with geo-graphical information systems as a complex and will help familiarize the reader with the Quantum GIS program. The aim is to propose a project to Kovona System, Inc., which will better align planning with actual work. The practical part outlines the development of a Quantum GIS program which will map the data reflected by company plans.
Výroba odlitků ze slitin hliníku
Vlček, Ondřej
The aim of this Master's Thesis is to describe the process of aluminum alloys cast manufacturing. The Thesis is focused on manufacturing casts by method of die-casting. The manufacturing process is described on a concrete type of aluminum die-cast. The Thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and experimental. The theoretical part describes historical development of alloy industry, current status of this industry, and general description of casting methods with the focus on die-casting and new progressive manufacturing methods. Experimental part describes process, i.e. the order of manufacturing steps of a chosen part, quality inspection procedures, control measurement procedures and testing procedures used during manufacturing process. Furthermore, the Thesis focuses on description of consequences of porosity that cause leakage of casts produced in high-volume series, analysis and evaluation process of the reasons of porosity, and partial or total elimination of porosity.
