Statistics of First Names in the Czech Republic

The main objective of this thesis is to describe selection rules of given names under the Civil register Act valid in the Czech Republic, describe recommendations for choosing a given name and map the development of given names in the Czech Republic using statistical data. The first part describes the legal options and obligations when choosing or changing names, the second section is focused on name selection and in the third part there are mentioned given names sorted by their popularity between girls and boys in each year. Conclusion of this thesis is to get an overview of the dominant girls' and boys' names in the Czech Republic in recent years. Conclusions can be used as inspiration in choosing the name of the child and help determine whether the selected name belongs to names popular among Czech citizens.
Management of System of Evaluation of a Working Capacity in a chosen Organization

This bachelor thesis deals with a problem of control and evaluation of performance and other systems which are closely connected with this problem. This thesis consists of three parts. The basic terms and knowledge from various fields, respectively personal activities are defined in the first part. The second part describes various methods which were used for writing of this bachelor thesis and there are the hypotheses that are evaluated in the conclusion. The analysis of present situation of selected personal activities which is based primarily on questionnaire survey in the selected organization which is Jednota, co-operative society in Jindřichův Hradec is done in the practical part. This part of the thesis contains the proposed corrective measures which could improve this situation.
Evaluation and Remuneration of Employees in selected Organizations

At the beginning, the graduation these describes theoretical dates of employee evaluation and performance appraisals. Next, it goes on with the analysis of employee evaluation and performance appraisals in the chosen organization with the focus on the relationship of the performance evaluation, their merit pay and fringe benefits. At the end, the practical part is compared with theoretical knowledge. Following recommendations are also proposed, which should contribute to the improvement of the current system of evaluation and remuneration in organizations.
Recruitment and Selection of Employees in a selected Organization

Subject of this thesis is the problematic of personnel management focusing on the area of attracting and choosing employees. Theoretical part of this thesis is orientated on recruitment and selection of workforce and different methods of these procedures. This part has been written as a recherche of the literature. Practical part of the thesis focuses on concrete activities of recruitment and selection of workforce in company called TECHNOGYM., Ltd. The result of description and analysis of individual personal activities is the suggestion and recommendation for improvement and optimalization of this process. The aim of this thesis is to propose solutions which could help TECHNOGYM to recruit the most appropriate candidates from the labor market that would fit to demands of required work positions and so help to the most effective running of the company.
Evaluation of the Financial Situation of a selected Organization

The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the financial situation of the company BARENTZ Co.Ltd. in the period 2006-2011. The main methods of financial analysis that have been applied include horizontal and vertical analysis of balance sheet and profit and loss, then the analysis of financial ratios and predictive models. On the basis of these methods are expressed conclusions about the financial situation of the company and proposed appropriate measures.

The thesis is divided into three main parts: the theoretical part, methodological and practical ones. The theoretical part describes a set of problems related to educational system organised for the staff in an organization from the general point-of-view. The methodological part describes methods used in the practical part in analysing the educational system for the employees. The content of the practical part is the analysis of the educational system for the company's staff as practised in Partners Financial Services, Ltd. The conclusion of this thesis summarizes basic information determined by the analysis of the employee educational system and the evaluation of the analysed system.
