Detection of the repolarization parameters from ECG

A T wave peak and offset detector based on an unpublished lead transformation that can be briefly described as multilead linear regression was proposed and implemented afterwards. Potential of the transformation as a useful QRS detection tool was revealed later on. Proposed QRS detector was put to the test of CSE database. Results were compared with work of other authors. Results of T wave peak and offset detector were introduced in visual way.
Evaluation design of civil airports effectivity indices

Introductory part of this thesis concludes the development of air traffic, division of airports in the Czech Republic according to the Ministry of Transport, according to the Law on Civil Aviation and according to the Coding of the airports (Requirement L 14). The aim was to realize theoretical definition and division of output and economic indicators. After that comes choice of appropriate airports from the European Union. The choice has been made on the basis of the number of check-in passengers at the airport in Prague-Ruzyně. Eight most suitable airports have been chosen from all twenty-seven member countries of the EU. The following step is comparative analysis of these chosen airports on the basis of specified output and economic indicators for the years 2005-2009. The year 2010 has not been included, because the chosen airports did not complete their annual reports, balances and statements of profit and loss. From these sources the values for calculation of individual indicators have been chosen. These indicators have been shown in charts, evaluated by means of graphs in Excel Programme and further they have been characterized in words. The aim of the thesis was also the evaluation and comparison of output and economic indicators of effectiveness and after evaluation, proposal of methods of evaluations has followed.
Construction RNAV instrument departures for runway 03C at the Kunovice airport

This master´s thesis deals with RNAV-1 departure routes for runway 03C at the Kunovice airport. Suggested routes are linked to the new RNAV-1 routes in TMA Brno. RNAV SID maps and construction of one of the departure track are also done and described in this master´s thesis. Beyond design of RNAV-1 routes are also analyzed influences and factors in the master´s thesis that affect the construction of these routes. Construction of RNAV SID routes are based on the knowledge and shortcomings conventional routes that are resulted from the analysis of the current departure routes at the Kunovice airport. In the second part of the thesis is submitted 3 variants of departure routes for Kunovice airport.
Study of the bypass Neslovice, road II/394

The subject of this bachelor thesis is to prepare a case study of the bypass around village Neslovice. The reason for building the bypass is to ease the existing traffic and increase safety in the village. The road has a proposed category width S9,5 / 90. For the smoothness and safety of traffic, an flyover variants was also examined at the crossing point. Of the five variants created, one was chosen and is further elaborated.
Design of assessment methods for airport subsystem capacity

This thesis discusses the capacity of airport subsystems and describes various assessment methods of capacity including factors that affect it. The first part contains theoretical analysis of assessment methods for airport subsystems especially runway and terminal. The practical part deals with experimentation using the simulation software Visual Simmod. The objective of these experiments is to evaluate the effect of certain factors to runway operations and observe the change of aircraft delay over the capacity. In the end all simulation results are analyzed and shown in graphs.

Bachelor’s thesis “Aircraft load and balance procedures”, deals with the balance of the aircraft and center of gravity and with possible computational procedures.It introduces the individual masses andpre-flight documentation, which is important for proper loading and balancing of an aircraft. The thesis presents a brief summary of the requirements of Ryanair airline, in particular relating to documentation and balance. The conclusion contains a comparison of manual and electronic Loadsheet in terms of balancing the Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Study of gamma decay in 168Er from neutron capture

The γ-ray emission process in highly-excited nuclei is typically described within the statistical model of nucleus using the two main ingredients - the level density (LD) and the photon strength functions (PSFs). The knowledge of LD and PSFs is essential in the modeling of nuclear reactions with applications in astrophysics or advanced nuclear reac- tors. In this work, we studied the multi-step γ-ray cascade spectra following the radiative neutron capture 167 Er(n, γ)168 Er measured with the Detector for Advanced Neutron Cap- ture Experiments in Los Alamos National Laboratory. The experimental γ-ray spectra were compared with the simulated spectra exploiting the dicebox Monte Carlo code for simulation of radiative decay to test different models of LD and PSFs. Furthermore, the measured spectra allowed us to determine the population of the isomeric state in 168 Er with 109 ns half-life and compare it with the simulated isomeric population, which provides an important test of the applicability of the statistical model. The simulated isomeric population was found to be significantly lower than the experi- mental one if no structure effects are assumed above the excitation energy of the isomer. Study of statistical decay in well deformed rare-earth nuclei

The γ decay of highly excited nuclear levels can be described within the statistical model of nucleus in terms of the level density and a set of photon strength functions. The knowledge of these quantities enables more accurate calculations of reaction rates in many different reactions which are important especially in nuclear astrophysics and in the development of advanced nuclear reactors. Despite the fact that the photon strength functi- ons have been studied for decades, there are still contradicting experimental results regarding the low energy behavior of dipole strength. One of these ca- ses is the shape of electric dipole photon strength function and the strength of the scissors mode in well-deformed rare-earth nuclei. In this thesis the ana- lyses of γ-ray spectra measured by two different experimental setups are pre- sented. The two-step γ cascades measurements with odd gadolinium targets were performed at the research reactor LVR-15 at the Research Centre Řež. In the multi-step γ cascades experiments the γ rays following resonance ne- utron capture on 161−163 Dy targets were measured with the highly-segmented γ-ray calorimeter Detector for Advanced Neutron Capture Experiments in the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center at Los Alamos National Labora- tory. The Court of Justice of the European Union: the engine of integration?

This thesis deals with the topic of influence of the Court of Justice of the European Union on the process of European integration. For this purpose, the thesis asks the following question: "How has the Court of Justice of the European Union in selected cases contributed to the strengthening of European integration?" After an overview of the methodological basis, the thesis thoroughly examines the main theoretical approaches and authors that focused on the topic of Court of Justice and its influence on European integration: neofunctionalism, intergovernmentalism, neorationalism, supranationalism and legalistic approach. In the third part, five landmark cases of the ECJ have been chosen for detailed analysis: Van Gend en Loos, Costa vs. E.N.E.L., Internationale Handelsgesellschaft, Les Verts and Francovich. The thesis not only maps the political situation surrounding their announcement, but also the aftermath, consequences and reactions of member states to the judgements. In its last part, the thesis attempts to connect the theoretical approaches with the findings of the aforementioned analysis of landmark decisions. The thesis concludes that the Court of Justice in fact did contribute to the strengthening of European integration, namely by establishing the principles of direct effect, superiority...
