The Issue of Psychological working with the Deaf
Veselá, Michaela ; Gillernová, Ilona (advisor) ; Kucharská, Anna (referee) ; Okrouhlíková, Lenka (referee)
The presented doctoral dissertation aims to provide a deeper understanding of psychological work with Deaf clients, both from therapeutic and diagnostic perspectives. The main focus of the study is the process of modifying and translating psychological tests into sign language, as well as the specifics of therapeutic work with the Deaf. The author believes that the Deaf are a linguistic and cultural minority with all the characteristics that this designation entails. The paper maps out the historical, linguistic, and social contexts that have influenced or have previously influenced the Deaf community and directly impact the formation of Deaf identity. In the diagnostic section, the author introduces a modified PFT (C-W) psychological test in sign language, describing the translation process and the manner of test modification. The usability of this adapted test was verified on a sample of 20 Deaf individuals. This verification aimed to determine the test's relevance and reliability within the Deaf context. The study further examines challenges related to adapting other psychological tests for the Deaf. Methods of translating instructions into sign language are explored, with a focus on comprehensive intelligence tests and their verbal components. The need to create test batteries standardized for...
Návrh na zdanění práce robotů
Veselá, Michaela
As automation increases and expands, there are concerns about whether human labor will be replaced by robots. For that reason, a discussion was launched about whether the work of robots should be taxed and, if so, how. Currently, there is no state that already has a robot labor tax in place. There are only suggestions for how robots could be taxed. The examined proposals always contain a reason why it is not possible to implement. As part of this work, a definition of a robot was proposed for the purposes of taxing robot work, a tax payer for robot work, the subject of tax for robot work and 4 proposals for calculating the base of this tax, to which the proposed rate was then applied. Subsequently, the tax period and tax advances were proposed. This solution should bring sufficient funds to substitute a possible shortfall of income to the state budget caused by to growing unemployment due to automation.

Šimralová, Kristýna ; Veselá, Michaela (advisor) ; Štětovská, Iva (referee)
The bachelor thesis topic is the current possibilities of psychological intervention for the Deaf people. The first part describes their rules and habits; followed by the topic of psychological intervention with the Deaf - its general specifics, either without the use of a communication mediator (i.e., psychological intervention taking place directly in sign language) or with the use of a communication mediator (i.e., with the use of a sign language interpreter). At the end of this theoretical part, psychological intervention with Deaf people in selected foreign countries - the US, Germany, and the United Kingdom - is discussed. The thesis contains a research proposal that aims to find out where and how psychological intervention with Deaf people is carried out in the Czech Republic; whether the cultural specifics of Deaf people are taken into account, whether professionals are sufficiently familiar with the background of Deaf people, or if Deaf people are satisfied with psychological intervention in the Czech Republic at all. The research covers both Deaf service users and providers of these services. Keywords The Deaf; deaf; psychological intervention; sign language

Psychological Deprivation in Children and Repercussions in the Test of Colour Semantic Differentials
A právě to mě nasměrovalo k problému psychické deprivace.
