Metaphor in Supervision

The thesis on Metaphor in supervision is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part deals with metaphor in the linguistic level, its semantic level and then the use of metaphor in supervision. As it turns out, metaphor is often conceived as a phenomenon, as an image, or as a grasp of a person's intrapsychic processes. Metaphor itself is often described by metaphor and we can easily get into a vicious spiral. It is the theoretical part of the thesis that takes us out of this spiral, capturing and anchoring the abstraction of metaphor in the real world. The exploration of metaphor has taken the form of a qualitative research methodology, specifically using IPA. The research investigation involved 11 research participants who were purposively selected based on criterion sampling. The research strategy included the necessary self-reflection by the researcher and in the initial stage of working with the data through deconstruction of the text. In the data analysis we can find first the pre-research and then the actual codification associated with direct quotations. This is first sorted into a clear table for better orientation. Competence and power of teachers in the educational process

The thesis discusses the issues of art-oriented educational process as a means for effective application of pedagogical powers and professional competence. The selected form of art activity makes use of multilevel motivational appeal of working in a theatre company. This corresponds to the informative complexity of the chosen theme. It allows to process the information not only in terms of definitions and subsequent philosophical analysis, but also by experiential practical proof. Basic research focuses on the power and competence of a teacher, which can significantly affect the predetermine social rehabilitation of the handicapped child. Anti-riot unit of the Regional Police Directorate of the Pilsen Region, the issue of interventions under the unitary command of Police of the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the Anti-riot unit of the Regional Police Directorate of the Pilsen Region which protects the security of people, property and public order. In the theoretical part there are firstly defined the basic terms concerning the Police of the Czech Republic and the anti-riot units. Further described, we can find the tactics of intervention, training, weaponry and equipment. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare a purposefulness and exploitability of the Anti-riot unit of the Regional Police Directorate of the Pilsen Region in terms of a deployment frequency and means for the observed period. The hypothesis of the bachelor thesis consists in the fact that the number of deployment of the Anti-riot unit of the Regional Police Directorate of the Pilsen Region and the number of interventions under the unitary command has an upward tendency from its inception to the present. The quantitative data showing a workload of the Anti-riot unit of the Regional Police Directorate of the Pilsen Region are compared in the empirical part. These interventions are divided according to the kind and the data are always for the period 2005-2015. These data were gathered by the analysis of the deployment and training assessment which is annually drawn up by the chief of the Anti-riot unit of the Regional Police Directorate of the Pilsen (Westbohemian) Region. In the discourse of this bachelor thesis there are all the previous data evaluated. Some kind of an anti-riot unit deployment are presented with the specific case of security measures. They are the ones I have taken part in, and I can draw on my own experience. Based on the analysis, it is possible to state that the number of anti-riot unit deployment has an upward tendency. The anti-riot establishment has been useful and its activity in the field of security of life, health, property and public order helps with an incident-free functioning of our society.
