Partnership approach in the Scout method of raising children as an inspiration for primary school teachers

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to find out whether primary school teachers use the partnership approach in their lessons and what is their opinion about it based on their participation in the SI Třída project of the Scout Institute in Prague. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is devoted to defining the terms, defining the partnership approach itself and describing its principles and strategies. Furthermore, the bachelor thesis deals with the Scout educational method and the description of the SI Třída project. In the empirical part, the opinions of teachers who participated in this project with their class last year will be evaluated. A beginning teacher at lower-secondary school and his or her adaptation to the school environment

The diploma thesis is devoted to the adaptation of beginning teachers at lower-secondary schools to their school environment. The theoretical part defines concepts related to the person of a beginning teacher, his preparation for the teaching profession and subsequent support after entering the profession. Qualitative research is used in the empirical part of the work and is based on the analysis of ten semi-structured interviews with beginning teachers, who were asked questions in order to find out if and possibly how they managed to adapt to their school environment, and what factors helped them to do so. This part of the work attempts to answer the main research question, which is: What support does the environment provide to beginning teachers during their adaptation phase to the school environment and what factors influence this support?
Classroom climate and relationships within graduating classes of four-year, six-year and eight-year grammar schools

This thesis explores the classroom climate and classroom relationships of the senior class of a particular four-year, six-year, and eight-year high school. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part, and the two parts are closely related. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters. The thesis draws on the literature in the fields of education and social psychology and focuses in particular on the characterisation of school classroom climate and methods of measuring climate. An essential chapter of the theoretical part of the thesis is also the area dealing with the characteristics of relationships within the classroom collective. The empirical part of the thesis then proceeded to a quantitative-qualitative research investigation, which focused on exploring the differences and interrelationships within the classroom collective of senior high school students with different lengths of study. Adaptation of a beginning teacher for work with gifted pupils at first level of primary school

The MSc. thesis focuses on the conditions for beginning teachers and their adaptation on start of their carreer at the first level of primary schools in the Czech Republic, and further ontheir success or problems in working with gifted pupils. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts (the latter consisting of primary and secondary research). The theoretical part consists of three chapters. The first chapter describes some of the specifics of the teaching profession and the situation of new teachers shortly after taking up the job. The second chapter is devoted to the adaptation process, gives an overview of the conditions for new teachers and programmes to support them in the current Czech education system, the legislation in this area, and a brief comparison with the situation abroad. This is followed by a chapter devoted to a theoretical introduction to the issue of exceptionally gifted pupils, their identification and work with them. Sex education at primary shools in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with sex education in primary schools in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes in great detail the development of sex education to its current form, from historical events to important political moments of the present. Side effects currently influencing children's and adolescents' views on sexuality are also not neglected. In the practical part, a research investigation is presented to find out how sex education is implemented in terms of the organization and form of teaching, its content and methods, but also examines the attitudes of educators towards information sources about sex, the content of sex education and reflects their opinion on whether it would be appropriate and possible to introduce sex education as a separate subject. It was found that sex education is implemented in accordance with the principles of holistic sex education, but there is still some potential for improvement in some areas of teaching. Educators are of the opinion that there is no need for a separate subject, but it is important not to support taboos, to pay enough attention to all topics and, above all, to ensure taht there are enough quality, educated teachers.
Relation between pupils of primary school and dramatic education

The bachelor's thesis deals with the relationship of primary school pupils towards drama education. This thesis is divided into the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part deals with the very concept of drama education. The position of the drama education in the educational system is described in more details here. Furthermore, here is also discussed the relationship of primary school pupils towards drama education, towards aesthetic subjects and towards school subjects, too. The characteristic and personality traits of the teacher and pupils are also mentioned here. The part of this thesis is characteristic and parts of drama educations lesson and characteristic other aesthetic subjects and there are also detailed differences between drama education and theater. The practical part deals with the relationship of primary school pupils towards drama education. The research is conducted in the form of interviews, which are literally rewritten and inserted into the thesis. This bachelor's thesis focuses on the topic of gamification in education and provides a complex view of the use of principles and methods using modern technology. It covers the historical development of gamification and gradually moves to the present using modern technology. The work thoroughly explains key concepts and terminology associated with gamification. In particular, much attention is paid to Game-based Learning (GBL). It also summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of applying the mentioned teaching methods in education. It explains the relationship between several theories of motivation and gamification and provides an overview of current video games and applications. Finally, the thesis evaluates the potential of computer games and applications using modern technology in the educational field.

The purporse of this paper "the impact of spending of organized leisure time on child's personality" is to gain knowledge if there is any relationship between the development of child's personality and the way of spending leisure time. If the educators find out how children spends their leisure time and whether they feel that some personality areas are more developer than others. The bachelor's thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The aim of the theoretical part is a summary of existing knowledge about leisure time and ways of spending it, as well as a short summary of psychological and personality development in the period of pubescence and a description of personality types based on the big five. The theoretical part is based on the study of vocational literature. The aim of the practical part is to use a research investigation to find out what perspective educators working with pubescents have on the issue of personality development.
Hight School Students as Teachers or Else the Benefits of Reverse Roles in the Lessons of English Language

(in English) This diploma thesis focuses on the use of reversed roles in the classes of English language at the secondary technical school. It aims to outline the benefits and possible disadvantages of the method which involves the exchange of roles between student and teacher from the teaching pupil's point of view as well as the perspective of his/her learners. Associated sub-objectives have been determined in order to find out the degree of motivation and willingness of the pupils to accept their new role, the influence of a changed perspective on perceiving the subject matter and the teacher's position in the educational process. The purpose of the thesis is to find out whether this method could be utilized to revitalize the teaching process, activate students during their classes, increase their motivation while learning the subject matter in an alternative way and improve their skills and competencies. Last but not least, there is a presumption of a benefit for the educationalist who, due to exchanged roles, can take a closer look into the needs and preferences of his/her pupils.
