Valenta, Jaroslav ; Mišurec, Jiří (referee) ; Mlýnek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is focused on narrowband data transmission over power lines. At first are described possibilities of narrowband data transmission over power lines, next the type of noises and then thesis deals with parameters of communication channel. In this thesis are described too modulation, error corection and data encryption for reliable communication. In the last part of thesis are realized practical measuring in laboratory workplace. The influence of data communication on primary function of power lines are tested. In the end are realized measuring of noise influence on data communication.
Power quality measuring system
Valenta, Jaroslav ; Mrákava, Petr (referee) ; Mlýnek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the measurement of power quality. The evaluating quality parameters, data collection systems and transfer technologies will be discussed. The various type of cryptographic algorithms are also described. Cryptographic algorithms, which ensure to secure data communications from remote collection points of measurement, will be realized. These cryptographic algorithms will be realized in MATLAB and C/C++. The last part is focus on designed and implemented a simulation model to telemetry the power quality.
Pressure-induced changes of magnetic behavior of RCo2-type compounds
Valenta, Jaroslav ; Prchal, Jiří (advisor) ; Kamarád, Jiří (referee)
The diploma thesis is focused on the study of pressure-induced changes in a behavior of RECo2-type compounds. HoCo2 and its substitution of Si instead of Co in Ho(Co1-xSix)2, x = 0,025 were chosen as a representative compounds from this family of materials. Measurements of electric resistivity, heat capacity, magnetization and AC magnetic susceptibility under ambient pressure showed presence of three magnetic transitions for both samples: the change of the easy magnetization direction at TR ~ 16 K, the Curie temperature TC ~ 80 K and the flipping of magnetization of Co magnetic moments into the parallel direction with Ho magnetic moments at Tf ~ 125 K for HoCo2. Under hydrostatic pressures up to 3 GPa, the TR shifts to higher temperatures whereas TC and Tf, both decrease. This probably occurs due to the weakening of the Co magnetism and the strength of exchange interaction between Ho-Co sublattices. The experiment of muon spin rotation demonstrates a pressure influence to the decay of Co magnetic clusters, which occurs at lower temperatures with increasing pressure. It is evident that the hydrostatic pressure directly influences the exchange interaction between Co-Co.
Influence of the external pressure on the magnetic behavior of the material
Valenta, Jaroslav ; Prchal, Jiří (advisor) ; Prokleška, Jan (referee)
This thesis deals with magnetic properties of the HoCo2 compound, which is composed of rare earth and transition metal elements. The study is focused on properties at ambient pressure and changes of the magnetic behavior of the material under hydrostatic pressure. At the ambient pressure, there was performed analysis of the sample quality with a finding of presence of three magnetic transitions: flipping temperature magnetization of Co clusters Tf = (125 ± 1) K, Curie temperature TC = (79,5 ± 0,1) K and spin-reorientation temperature TR = (16,4 ± 0,5) K. When applying the hydrostatic pressure up to 3 GPa, there was observed a shift of the temperatures of the magnetic transitions and in the case Tf and TR their consequent vanishing. From the shifts of the TC and Tf towards lower temperatures and from the vanishing of the Tf, it was concluded that Co magnetism is being suppressed by the influence of the hydrostatic pressure.

Title: Magnetism in the non-centrosymmetric uranium compound: UIrSi3 Author: RNDr. Jaroslav Valenta Department: Department of Condensed Matter Physics Supervisor of the doctoral thesis: RNDr. Jiří Prchal, Ph.D., DCMP Abstract: The study presented in this thesis is focused on UIrSi3 which is one of two known uranium compounds that crystallize in a non-centrosymmetric structure. This first study of UIrSi3 in single-crystalline form confirms antiferromagnetic order below TN = 41.7 K and reveals strong uniaxial anisotropy. The antiferromagnetic order is suppressed by application of a magnetic field along the c axis (0HC = 7.3 T at 2 K). In contrast, application of a magnetic field up to 14 T along the a axis gives paramagnetic response. The high TN, contrasting with the low 0HC, together with the opposite signs of the paramagnetic Curie temperatures of the a-axis and c-axis paramagnetic susceptibility indicate a competition between antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic interactions. The first-order metamagnetic transition at HC shows asymmetric hysteresis which reflects a complex antiferromagnetic ground state. With increasing temperature, the hysteresis becomes gradually smaller and vanishes at 28 K where the first-order transition changes to second-order transition which remains up to TN. The point where the...

Comparison of Czech and Spanish legal regulations of judicial law enforcement on pecuniary consideration on the example of salary deduction
Valenta, Jaroslav ; Macková, Alena (advisor) ; Smolík, Petr (referee)
The topic of the submitted paper is comparison of the Czech and Spanish legal regulations of judicial law enforcement on pecuniary consideration on the example of salary deduction. Further its scientific aim is by the use of the comparative law method to evaluate the legislation in question and based on such results to draw conclusions de lege ferenda in the field of judicial law enforcement on pecuniary consideration for the intended Czech recodification of civil procedure, incl. rules of judicial law enforcement. Salary deductions have been chosen as an illustrative example of rather conflicting rules (considerable extension of the Czech legislation compared to the very modest rules of Spanish salary deductions). The author drew on the traditional three-element structure of comparative works, and chose the Czech legislation as a comparatum, the Spanish one as comparandum, and the "tertium comparationis" as the relator is the enforceable performance to pecuniary consideration by the courts attaching the salaries and other similar incomes. This corresponds to the division of work into three parts according to these basic elements of comparison. Regarding the description of the various institutes the author draws not only from the statutory text, the jurisprudence and literature, but also seeks to...
