Factors of work team stabilization in social care services

The diploma thesis on the topic of Factors of work team stabilization in social care services deals with the issue of the needs of workers in social services and related management tools as a solution to the problem of a lack of stable personnel in work teams. The theoretical part conceptualizes the topics of social services, management and leadership of people. It provides a general overview of social services and specific areas of social care services, including legislative anchoring. It maps concepts and approaches in management. It also presents important theories that relate to the phenomenon of motivation. The practical part is aimed at identifying the needs of workers in social services. The basis of the research are interviews with employees and directors of organizations, in the form of semi-structured interviews, the analysis of which brought the mapping of the needs of workers in social services. Subsequently, based on the interpretation of the results, measures are proposed for the management of organizations and the facts found are related to theories of motivation. The target group was workers in social care services.
Project plan for the opening of a branch of the Prosaz, z.ú. organization with personal assistance services in Mariánské Lázně

This thesis focus on the availability of personal assistance services in Mariánské Lázně and the administrative district of the municipality. In response to this issue, it proposes the establishment of a branch of the Prague-based organization Prosaz, z.ú., providing personal assistance services in this locality. The development of the project proposal is divided into three parts: theoretical, analytical, and proposal sections. The theoretical part explains the concept of social services, outlining various types and forms of social services for seniors and people with disabilities. A special chapter is dedicated to personal assistance, covering its legal framework, history, different types, and objectives. Furthermore, the author presents Mariánské Lázně in terms of selected demographic data, social care provision, and various social service providers for seniors in this area. Another chapter delves into a closer presentation of the Prosaz organization, focusing on personal assistance and caregiving services, with which collaboration will occur in crafting the project for this thesis. Mapping needs of medical social workers in the Central Bohemian region

This thesis deals with hospital social workers' (HSWs) needs in the Central Bohemian Region. The thesis aimed to map the (professional) needs of HSWs and provide material for systemic action. The evaluation was based on data obtained from interviews with 20 hospital social workers in central Bohemian hospitals providing both acute care, aftercare, and long-term care. The results indicated the conflicting position of HSWs in the context of professional balancing on the border of health and social issues. In conclusion, recommendations are formulated on how to improve the position of HSWs and bridge systemic gaps.

The bachelor's thesis deals with cooperation with a family in a selected home with a special regime in relation to ensuring quality care for the senior. The theoretical part contains the definition of the process of old age and aging, it discusses the dementia syndrome with follow-up to long-term care with an emphasis on homes with a special regime and the possibilities of cooperation with the family. The practical part is carried out through qualitative semi-structured interviews with family members of the home's clients and a focus group with the home's social workers. Its goal is to identify the needs, current problems and ideas about the possibilities of mutual cooperation in relation to ensuring quality care for the senior. The conclusion of the work contains recommendations arising from the results of the research for improving the cooperation of social workers with families in relation to ensuring quality care for the senior.
Adressing the Needs of Nursing Home Residents

The thesis focuses on the provision of services in nursing homes. It aims to find out what needs the homes perceive in their clients and how they respond to them. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the concepts and theories of needs, quality of life in old age and well-being, the topic of the protection of the rights of the elderly and the Quality Standards for Social Services. The research part presents the methodological approach of the study and the research findings. The study is based on semi-structured interviews with social workers of selected homes, which include homes with the highest rating of the Quality Mark certification. As a result of the work, the individual groups of needs are described together with the factors influencing their fulfilment. Terms of Old Age Pension Rights

(in English) The main aim of the thesis is to propose the possibilities of changing the eligibility criteria for retirement pension, which are the attainment of retirement age and the required insurance period. In the theoretical part, the thesis mainly describes the development of the pension system and its changes in this millennium in relation to the eligibility criteria for retirement pension, the work of pension commissions and the recommendations of experts and professional organizations for modification of the system. In the theoretical part, other related areas are described with claim conditions that may affect them and must also be worked within the system for possible change proposals. The practical part uses secondary data analysis of political documents, opinion polls, statistical data and comparisons of international research to propose the options for changes, where the main goal is to provide greater stability and sustainability of the first continuous pillar. The needs of legal guardians of people with challenging behaviour and physical aggression.

(in English): The aim of this thesis is to find out how the social system treats people caring for people with autism spectrum disorders and challenging behaviour with physical aggression, and which institutional and informal support it offers and provides. The first part of the thesis focuses on autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disability, challenging behaviour and physical aggression. This part of the thesis serves mainly to put into context the demands of caring for these individuals. What caring entails, how a person with this disability manifests themselves and the justifiable need for quality support from the social system. The second part of the thesis describes what support resources the state has at its disposal to facilitate the care of legal representatives. The last part of the theoretical part focuses on social services. Social services are an indispensable tool in assisting legal representatives. The thesis deals with the availability of these services for the target group and their possible improvement. The bachelor thesis deals with the setting up of social housing systems in the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Sweden. Its aim is to acquaint with the similarities and differences of social housing systems in selected European countries through the method of comparative analysis. The output of the comparison is the identification of elements in foreign systems, carried out through interviews with experts that could help improve the practice of social housing in the Czech Republic.
Social services for soldiers and veterans in the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of social services for war veterans on the territory of the Czech Republic. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals primarily with the issue of the problems veterans can return home with, but also with, the care provided to war veterans.The practical part is devoted to research dominated by this research question: What is the status of social services for soldiers and veterans in the Czech Republic?. Here too, they are an important part of the sub-question that reads: How are these services used?, or what other services are needed?. The main aim is to map as comprehensively as possible the current state of social services for war veterans on the territory of the Czech Republic and to find out what experience veterans have with them.
