Derivatives of Rhodanine as Potential Drugs I.

Martina Vlčková Compounds containing a rhodanine motive create a perspective group of molecules that are studied as antimicrobial and antiprotozoic drugs or as substances with influence on inflammatory and proliferative processes. This paper describes the condensation of rhodanine with aromatic aldehydes in alkaline medium and the biological activity of the products: 5-[4-(dimethylamino)benzylidene]-2-thioxothiazolidin-4-one, 5-(2,4-dihydroxy- benzylidene)-2-thioxothiazolidin-4-one, 5-(4-chlorbenzylidene)-2-thioxothiazolidin- 4-one and 5-pyrazin-2-ylmethylene-2-thioxothiazolidin-4-one. These products don't show significant antifungal activity except 5-(4-chlorbenzylidene)-2-thioxothiazolidin-4-one. This substance shows some inhibition effect on Trichosporon asahii (MIC/IC80/12 h = 62.5 μmol.l-1 ), Trichophyton mentagrophytes (MIC/IC80/72 h = 15.62 μmol.l-1 ), Aspergillus fumigatus (MIC/IC80/12 h = 15.62 μmol.l-1 ) and Absidia corymbifera (MIC/IC80 /12 h = 15.62 μmol.l-1 ). The inhibition activity of these compounds on Mycobacterium tuberculosis wasn't found sufficient for further investigation. The strongest...

Dependencies problem on the second grade of the basic school

My thesis concentrates on the dependencies problem on the second grade of the basic school. It has two parts {--} theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part I analyse the term dependency and characterise the particular types {--} alcoholism, gambling and toxicomania. Firstly I try to define the causes and conditions of dependencies, secondly I focus on the questions how can be recognised the dependency by scholars and what the teacher must and can do in this situation. I try to map out the possibilities and efficiency of as yet implemented forms of prevention. The comparison with other states follows. In the practical part I look closely at the present state of occurred dependencies on the second grade of the basic schools in a specific area. I chart this state with the questionnaire method and the interview and then I should be able to find out whether there is a difference concerning the dependencies between a city and a village. The evaluation is completed with statistical calculations.

The Accounting of Securities

The aim of this text is to describe questions of securities in the Czech republic. Characteristics of individual kinds of the securities and their dividing are mentioned here. My attention is mainly addressed to stocks, obligations, bills of exchange and cheques. Farther I am engaged in accounting of the securities and their evaluation to balancing day. There are specific accounting examples of particular securities in the end. Also I talk about financial crisis and its impact on the securities.

Druhy cenných papírů

Cílem této práce je popsat problematiku cenných papírů. Je zde uvedena charakteristika jednotlivých druhů cenných papírů a kritéria jejich dělení. Práce je zaměřena hlavně na akcie, dluhopisy, směnky a šeky. Dále se zde uvádí účtování cenných papírů a jejich oceňování k rozvahovému dni. V závěru práce jsou uvedeny konkrétní příklady účtování určitých cenných papírů.
