Study of fish-passing facility on the weirs on Bečva river

This master's thesis consists of three main parts. The first section describes some types of fish crossings and basic information of their design. There is also marginally described program HEC-RAS. The second part is about the Zuberská weir and Osek stage. I review here fish ladders according to the original drawings in the HEC-RAS and suggest possible options to address these passable fish crossings for the fish crew. The last section is devoted to Mikulenkov weir where the fish crossing has been completely removed. Here I propose a new fish ramp according to modern knowledge and applicable standards. I also review the proposed fish ramp in the HEC-RAS program in order to verify the hydraulic characteristics.

This work deals with questions about the measuring of the tantalum capacitor leakage current. This thesis answers to many questions of this sphere e.g. Study of basic parameters, analysis of the measurment LI Head, creating software for the connection between the measuring LI Head, the computer and the analog measuring card, activation of the measuring set, verification of set functionality and economic evaluation of the whole project.

Revitalization of weir on Svratka river inVranovice with fish crossing

This present work deals with the design of revitalization measures for the weir in Uherčice (Vranovice) on the river Svratka. The current condition of weir constuction does not allow aquatic animals to migrate, weir constuction is transverse barrier. In this river section are found many fish species like barbel, vimba, nase and chub, for which is migration completely natural part of their behavior. There is concrete weir with a movable flap and on the right bank is located a small hydroelectric power plant. Close to hydroelectric power plant outlet is mouth of Šatava river. Weir revitalization consists of fish pass construction. Proposed fish pass is located on the right bank of the stream. There is a close-to-nature bypass channel that will ensure a continuity of water flow of already mentioned river Svratka between Věstonice lake and Rajhrad weir. Entrance to the fish pass will use a part of Šatava mount, then will continue in the artificial channel to the upstream part of Svratka river. Fish pass exit cannot breake the function of protective anti-flood embankment of Svratka river, hence there will be used block off construction. During condition of flooding will exist the possibility to shut down proposed fish pass.

Agreements and contracts within copyright law

Contractual copyright law A theme of the diploma thesis is the contractual copyright law. The main purpose of this thesis is to provide an overview of the contractual copyright law, mainly focused on the copyright license agreement. The thesis consists of seven chapters. The first chapter describes sources of the contractual copyright law. It consists of four parts which introduce elemental international sources, European Union law, constitutional regulations and primary and secondary legislation. The second chapter explains basic terms of the copyright law, which are necessary for better comprehension of the contractual copyright law. The third and the fourth chapter are crucial parts of the thesis. The third chapter generally explains licenses and its division to contractual, legal and compulsory licenses. This part is also an introduction for the fourth chapter which is a core of the thesis and deals with the copyright license agreement. In the fourth chapter, license agreement is described from its conclusion to termination (e.g. withdrawal of the agreement or unilateral termination of the agreement). The thesis analyses marketing communications of the company ZOOT Plc., which represents the biggest fashion on-line shop within the Czech Republic market. The aim of the thesis is to identify how the company is perceived regarding to its marketing activities. The theoretical part explains the marketing term as well as forms of marketing communications, on-line and off-line communications and fashion marketing itself. The practical part introduces the company ZOOT Plc. and its concept followed with SWOT analysis and analysis of its existing forms of marketing communications. The practical part also includes own research which shows the general perception of the company in the Czech Republic.

Application of multiple-criteria decision analysis to select the optimal B-segment vehicle acquisition variant

Theoretical part of the thesis describes principles of the multiple-criteria decision processes and methods that are considered as a very effective tool for solving more complex decision problem. Theoretical knowledge gained in the first part of thesis are subsequently used in the real case study, which searches for optimal B-segment vehicle according pre-set parameters. The study focuses on selection of a small company vehicle, firstly explores the real offer of B-segment vehicles available on the market in the Czech Republic. Work itself defines the selection criterion then assigns to each criterion appropriate decision weight, eliminates inopportune candidates and applies multiple-criteria decision analysis methods to find optimal acquisition variant. Final decision is concluded based on mix of the results obtained by the most suitable decision-making methods. Described procedure is applicable to both personal and company car or to any other asset acquisition.

The role of growth factors in the pathogenesis of papillary thyroid cancer

This thesis deals with the role of growth factors in the pathogenesis of thyroid gland tumors. There exist a lot of studies describing growth factors production or occurrence directly in the thyroid tissue. The aim of this thesis was to find possible differences in serum concentrations of growth factors in patients with thyroid adenoma and papillary cancer and in healthy people. The finding of suitable peripheral marker could be used in thyroid tumors diagnosis in the future. There was also detected growth factors production by normal thyroid gland and papillary thyroid cancer in a dynamic model of flow tissue culture, under the influence of stimulating substances. The aim was a more detailed understanding of particular growth factors role in a process of thyroid oncogenesis. Growth factors are polypeptides, proteins and glycoproteins with an informative and regulatory function. They have mainly local effects in tissues - autocrine and paracrine. They form an extensive cytokine network in the organism, with complicated synergic and antagonistic linkages. They are not specific for concrete cells, tissues or pathological processes.
