Stanovení obsahu vybraných prvků ve stavebních a demoličních odpadech
Vítková, Michaela
The diploma thesis “Determination of the content of selected chemical elements in construction and demolition waste” begins with a literature research, where the first part describes the terms that are used in other parts of the thesis. The next part of literature research contains description of legislation related to the topic of the thesis. The aim of the thesis was to verify the concentration of arsenic, chromium, cadmium, lead, nickel and vanadium in the most produced construction and demolition waste, to compared the measured values with legal limits and to evaluate possible impacts on the environment and human health. X-Ray fluorescence analysis, the so-called XRF, was chosen to address the topic. The results show that the most of samples have higher content of chromium and arsenic. At the end of the diploma thesis is an evaluation of the fulfillment of aims and verification of hypotheses.
Zhodnocení provozu zařízení pro nakládání s odpady (druhotnými surovinami) v obci Zdounky
Vítková, Michaela
The bachelor thesis aims to assess the operation of a facility for purchase of waste (secondary materials) on the premises of CORSO V+V, s.r.o. located in Zdounky. The first part addresses legislation which is related to facilities for purchase of waste and clarifies technical terms which are then used in the other sections of the thesis. The sec-ond part of the bachelor thesis focuses on the system of waste management applied by the municipality of Zdounky. The second part expands in more detail the facility for purchase of waste (secondary materials) itself, i.e. the Sběrna Zdounky. Furthermore, the equipment of ZN METAL is discussed as comparison to the Sběrna Zdounky. Based on the findings of the research, changes for improvement are proposed for the purposes of increasing the profit and enhancing the operational effectivity.
A communication of a rescue worker with the selected groups of patients
VÍTKOVÁ, Michaela
The key topic of this bachelor thesis is an option to call via a distress call, which would be suitable preferably for speech-disabled or deaf people. During my training at the operation center of the South Bohemian Emergency Medical Service, I have observed on more than one occasion that callers are under a lot of stress, even though most of them possess the ability to hear and speak. However, deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired callers might seem to be in a lot more difficult position. In the theoretical part, the definition of the call center as a whole is carried out, including its tasks and functions. A division of distress calls is included, kinds of dispatch groups and an indication of dispatches. The complex capture of issue of speech-disabled people follows definition of basic terms, division and means of their communication. The similar structure can be found in the next chapter, dealing with deaf or hard of hearing people. In the thesis, there are mentioned rules of communication with both groups of disabilities. This is one of the basic pillars of succesful communication with them. Practical part is formed with a qualitative research of half-structured dialogues. 7 randomly chosen operators of Pilsen district and 7 of Budweis district participated in the research. The aim is to monitor possible procedures of communication with the people with speech or hearing disability and an overview of possible solutions to these complicated distress calls. The research shows, that a phone call is not the only way how to reach a distress line. It has also been proven that although both operational centers are ready for a possibility of accepting other forms of distress calls than classic phonecalls, both speech disabled and hearing disabled people hardly ever use them. The results of all calls are only tentative and they are dependant on the experience gained by a particular operator. The purpose of this work is to use it as an option for further study material for the work of a distress call center operator, which is included in the curriculum plan of paramedics.
Methodology of invasive species mapping using remote sensing approach
Müllerová, Jana ; Bartaloš, T. ; Brůna, Josef ; Dvořák, P. ; Vítková, Michaela
The manual provides instructions on monitoring of four problematic invasive species based on remote sensing. It focuses on low cost and operational unmanned aircraft solution. The manual provides bases for understanding of the problematic, specifies the requirements for the data type and quality in respect to the species phenophases, and describes the data processing and quality assessment. Described methods are particularly suitable for targeted monitoring (in case of unmanned aircraft solution), still can be used at regional scale as well (in case of satellite imagery). Methodology is intended mainly for environmental agencies and other land managers, such as regional authorities and owners due to prevent and manage the introduction and spread of invasive alien species.
Environmental risks of afforestation of agricultural land by alien trees: the invasive black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) as a model species
Sádlo, Jiří ; Vítková, Michaela ; Pergl, Jan ; Pyšek, Petr
Short-lived plantations for renewable bioenergy production are currently fashionable. Poplars and willows are usually used for this purpose, however other species including dangerous invasive (e.g. Robinia pseudoacacia or Ailantus altissima) are tested in the Czech Republic. Current legislation both within the EU and on the national level deals with the species selection suitable for short-lived plantations only marginally. Black locust as well as other invasive species with similar life strategy can not be recommended for afforestation of agricultural land in the Czech Republic.
The possibilities of physiotherapy in patients with Myasthenia gravis. Subtitle: Diagnostics and therapy
Vítková, Michaela ; Jeníček, Jakub (advisor) ; Konopáčová, Eva (referee)
Title of thesis: The possibilities of physiotherapy in patients with Myasthenia gravis. Diagnostics and therapy. Abstract: This bachelor thesis discusses the possibilities of physiotherapy in patients with the neurological disease, Myasthenia Gravis. A physical therapy can be an important part of the treatment in myasthenic patients. The theoretical part of the thesis includes all the important information about Myasthenia Gravis - clinical symptoms, pathogenesis, diagnostics, treatment and selected physiotherapeutic methods. The practical part contains the case study of two selected pacients. The goal of the practical part was to find out what physiotherapeutical methods are suitable for patients with Myasthenia gravis and if a regular physical activity contributes to good health. The therapy was divided into two parts where one part took two weeks. The standardized scores were used to compare the results before and after the therapy. These scores are described in the theoretical part of the thesis. The output examination confirmed an improvement in both cases. Key words: Myasthenia Gravis, physiotherapy, self-treatment, PNF, Kenny method, Bobath concept, respiratory physiotherapy, Brunkow method
