AC Induction Machine Field Weakening Algorithms
Mynář, Zbyněk ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
Nowadays, thanks to advances in information and power technology induction motors are deployed there, where previously only other types of electric motors were possible to use. Those typically lack the reliability and low cost of induction motors. Best results in control of induction motors are achieved when vector control is used, to which part of the work is paid. If induction motor reaches the speed when it is no longer possible to continue to increase stator voltage, there is possibility of field weakening or reduction of magnetic flux and thus achieve higher speed. A comparison of several algorithms is devoted to this work. As a simulation tool MATLAB-Simulink was used. Another part is devoted to implementation of these algorithms to the processor of 56F800E series which uses calculations in fixed point.
OpenModelica and Matlab-Simulink co-simulation
Szymanik, Adam ; Kozubík, Michal (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis solves co-simulation between OpenModelica and Matlab-Simulink. In the first part Modelica language, OpenModelica software and FMI standard are described. In the next part is proposal of solution through custom blocks and realization of those blocks. In last chapter are three examples to verify functionality of my solution.
Modeling and Control of Electric and Thermal Flows in Fully Electric Vehicles
Algorithms of Electrical Drives State Estimation
Herman, Ivo ; Vavřín, Petr (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with state estimation methods for AC drives sensorless control and with possibilities of the estimation. Conditions for observability for a synchronous drive were derived, as well as conditions for the moment of inertia and the load torque observability for both drive types - synchronous and asynchronous. The possibilities of the estimation were confirmed by experimental results. The covariance matrices for all filters were found using an EM algorithm. Both drives were also identified. The algoritms used for state estimation are Extended Kalman Filter, Unscented Kalman Filter, Particle Filters and Moving Horizon Estimator.

Džama, Igor ; Otava, Lukáš (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This semestral thesis deals with issues of controll of alternating current drives of reluctance-synchronous type with interest on energy efficient controll. Thist hesis contains description of permanet magnet synchronous machine with reluctance moment and vector controll. On the model of the motor are than designed algorims tried. Algoritms are than between each other and algorithm of of controll of synchronous machine withount reluctance moment compared.
AC Drives Modern Control Algorithms
Graf, Miroslav ; Blaha, Petr (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describes the theory of model predictive control and application of the theory to synchronous drives. It shows explicit and on-line solutions and compares the results with classical vector control structure.
Electrical Drives Predictive Control Algorithms
Mynář, Zbyněk ; Vavřín, Petr (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This work deals with the predictive control algorithms of the AC drives. The introductory section contains summary of current state of theory and further description and classification of most significant predictive algorithms. A separate chapter is dedicated to linear model predictive control (linear MPC). The main contribution of this work is the introduction of two new predictive control algorithm for PMSM motor, both of which are based on linear MPC. The first of these algorithms has been created with the aim of minimizing its computational demands, while the second algorithm introduces the ability of field weakening. Both new algorithms and linear MPC were simulated in MATLAB-Simulink.
Algorithms of Model based Electrical Drives Monitoring and Diagnostics
Kozel, Martin ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to investigate PMSM models with internal faults. Two fault models are introduced. One of them is suitable for simulation of stator winding inter-turn short fault in case of one pole-pair motor and other one for simulation of inter-turn fault in case of multiple pole-pair motor. There are described some methods for model based fault detection of internal faults and sensor faults.
Robust control of AC induction motor drives
Pohl, Lukáš ; Václavek, Pavel (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
This bacherlor thesis deals with design of robust controller. In general it is about designing robust controller by using H-infinity control theory and input-output feedback linearization. Special structure of state-space equation governing the induction motor allows using linear parameter varying feedback controller scheduled with rotor speed for inner current loop. The proposed controller delivers high performance over the entire operating range of the induction motor and compares favorably with other published results
Linear motor modeling and identification
Cimburek, Václav ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the creation of a model of a synchronous linear motor with permanent magnets, parameter identification and model visualization. The model includes variable inductances of d and q windings and variable motor force constant. A cascade control using P and PI controllers and dynamic decoupling is implemented to control the model. The whole system is simulated in the Simulink environment. In conclusion are evaluated the factors that may cause inaccuracies and improvements that could be done.
