Algometric analysis of influence of crimp grip on soft tissues of hand and forearm.

Title: Algometric analysis of influence of crimp grip on soft tissues of hand and forearm. Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is comparison and evaluation of changes of nociceptors sensitivity treshold in chosen points of upper extremities area before and after defined strain using pressure algometer. Methods: Data for the experiment was obtained using pressure algometr. Pain threshold was measured in defined 42 points in the order given at each subject firstly before strain and again immediately after defined strain of upper extremities (one minute hangig by the both hands in crimp grip on a campus board in this way: 10 sec strain plus 10 sec break, all six times). Then were measured values statisticaly analysed. Sources for processing of theoretical part of this work were obtained from expert articles and literature which follow up the given task. Results: Statisticaly important results show, that decreasing of pain threshold (on average by 100 - 160 kPa) comes about in tissues of upper extremity immediately after its loading in crimp grip, which means increasing of nociceptors sensitivity. The effect of new taxol-binding peptides on proliferation of cancer cells

Charles University in Prague Faculcy of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biochemical science Candidate: Hana Vávrová Supervisor: Prof. RNDr. Lenka Skálová, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: The effect of new-binding peptides on proliferation of cancer cells Paclitaxel (PTX), alkaloid from the bark of Taxus brevifolia, is used in treatment of ovary, breast and some form of lungs cancer. In Institute of experimental botany in Prague were preparated new conjugates with peptide agonist of receptors for gonadotropin-releasing hormon (GnRH). The previous studies showed that this conjugate have higher or same antiproliferative effect. This antiproliferative effect was compared with PTX on the cell line from breast cancer which have receptors for GnRH. The aim of this study was to compare the anti-proliferativ effect of PTX and its conjugates. For the experiment was chosen to two cell systemes - HCT 8, which is derivate from colorectal adenocarcinoma and primary culture from liver cell from sewer-rat. Both cell lines have not receptors for GnRH. The results were evaluated by three different methods (MTT, NRU and x-Celligence). Financial analysis of company DENSO Manufacturing Czech, s.r.o.

The main aim of the Bachelor's thesis "Financial Analysis DENSO Manufacturing Czech, s.r.o." is to conduct a comprehensive financial analysis company Denso Manucfacturing Czech s.r.o. and to assess its financial health in the years 2009 - 2014 and the supplement development of company in the year 2015. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part provides an overview of financial indicators. Among the methods of the financial analysis include horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio analysis , Du pont ROE, bankruptcy and credibility models, analysis of differential indicators, economic value added, intercompany comparison. In the practical part is description of the company and the application of different methods.

Diploma thesis deals with the valuation of the company Iveco a.s., for the management needs. The estimated value refers to December 2016. The basis for the valuation is strategic and financial analysis. The results will be taken into account for establishment of the financial plan, which will be used in the valuation process. Emphasis is placed on yield methods using free cash flow to the firm(FCFF) and economic value added EVA. Both methods are compared with book value of the company.

Financial Reporting of public-benefit corporations in Czech Republic was significantly changed during a reform of public accounting standards. This thesis focuses on specifics of new Czech legislation in the field of public sector accounting and its differences from international IPSAS standards and shows basic principles of economy of public-benefit corporations on example of one of the most important cultural institution in Czech Republic - National gallery in Prague.

Fundraising of non-profit organisation NIDAR

This thesis deals with fundraising of non-profit organisations. The scope of the thesis is to provide the reader with basic information about fundraising, and to apply this information in order to evaluate the fundraising of a selected non-profit organisation. First of all, this work defines the non-profit sector and its long-term sustainability, then the work deals with the fundraising itself. Issues connected with credibility of the organisation and its webpages are included in the part concerning fundraising.These factors establish a competitive advantage in activities that are focused on fundraising. These theoretical foundations are applied on a chosen non-profit organisation, and additionaly, the webpages of the organisation are also analysed, and an ASNO14 non-profit organisation reliability analysis is carried out. The data used in the practical part was collected through an analysis of annual reports of the organisation, webpage analysis and through a personal interview. The ending of this thesis includes an overall evaluation and improvement proposals.

Use of the internet for fundraising in non-governmental organizations

The aim of this Master´s Thesis is to analyse the way in which non-governmental organizations approach the use of the internet for fundraising. The Master´s Thesis explores attitudes of non-governmental organizations towards this medium as well as the factors that motivate these organizations to use the internet. In order to achieve the aim the author carried out qualitative research based on semi-structured interview attended by representatives of a total of ten selected non-governmental organizations. The results show that non-governmental organizations use the internet for fundraising, however there are considerable gaps in their effectiveness. Online fundraising does not entail a significant financial source. Non-governmental organizations use the internet mainly to build a relationship with their supporters. Online fundraising is therefore seen as a complement to classic fundraising methods that still dominate in case of Czech non-governmental organizations.

Coffeehouse business plan

The aim of this diploma thesis is to prepare a business plan for the establishment of a coffeehouse connected with a coworking center. The task of this business plan is to check the feasibility and financial cost of the project and be used as a basis for the real establishment of the enterprise. The theoretical part deals with basic concepts related to entrepreneurship, individual parts of the business plan and issues related to coworking centers. The practical part includes the business plan itself. Attention is paid mainly to the description of business opportunities, competition analysis, business environment analysis, marketing and financial plan, and threat and opportunity analysis. In conclusion, the whole work is evaluated, the fulfillment of the given goal and the recommendation for the founder.
