Dofková, Jekaterina ; Kyselka, Mojmír (referee) ; Urbášková, Hana (referee) ; Šlapeta, Vladimír (advisor)
The relationship between Czech and Russian avantgarde has not been properly examined, therefore the aim of this research was to understand the real facts and uncover “ the blind spots“ connected with the specific development of avantgarde architecture in Czechoslovakia and Soviet Union. A comprehensive and moreless thorough detailed reconstruction of the interwar period has been created with the help of comparative and historiographic analysis. This period used to be interpreted quite contrarily under the political pressure of the Soviet regime. The thesis analyses the influence of the political regime on architecture, determines the reflection of the events in the Soviet Union on the opinions of Czechoslovak architects by means of testimonies about mutual contacts, mutual criticism and cooperation in the sphere of architecture. The thesis brings and concludes new information regarding Czech architects who were designing and working in the Soviet Union. The research is based on archive documents, articles from specialized contemporary magazines and debates between Czech and Russian architects.

Area of nature park Rochus is situated in Uherske Hradiste city. It is big nature place close to the old city center with very nice view to this center. In the past the area was used as a military drill field. But for now it looks more like a jungle outside the civilization. Because the area is abandoned for couple years Bourovec trnkovy – rare species of butterfly – developed here. So this area is protected by Natura 2000. Because of this there are special criteria for using of this area. We have to cultivate this area. So for future it will b used as a recreation area for city with resting and sports areas. There will be built some buildings – but on the boundary of this area. My project is mostly about one part of area where restaurant, wine place, museum of wine and accommodation will be built. To this part of area you can get via nice old wine small street with old wine-vaults. So all new buildings will be sized like a small structures. All the big spaces will be situated in buildings in terrain with green roof. Everything will be ecological.

Holopírková, Lucie ; Urbášková, Hana (referee) ; Eyer, David (referee) ; Meixner, Miloslav (advisor)
One of the main priorities of our society is to constantly increase the quality of life. Part of the new trends and technology is to optimize all factors affecting each individual in buildings at home, and in the work environment. Modern technology increasingly find inspiration in traditional materials and principles of architectural design. We can greatly affect the microclimate of buildings by suitable selection of material surfaces, ventilation systems and selection of structures that can affect the natural electromagnetic field of the Earth during the architectural design of buildings. And particular choice of the place where the building is located. In this thesis I focus on Ionic microclimate, which may be an indicator of a healthy environment and has a major impact on humans health and psychological well-being. I would like to contribute to the healthy and harmonious living and designing buildings in consideraion of sustainable development by my thesis.

Examines the situation of expansion of this type of buildings in the surrounding countries as well as in our country, differences in their architectural and technical characteristics and possibilities of natural materials use in their construction so that the newly proposed public buildings meet not only the technical and architectural design principles of passive houses, but at the same time reflect using of traditional local natural materials.
