Time Analysis of Observation in Interaction Between Driver and Pedestrian
Michalčíková, Lucie ; Tylšar, Vladimír (referee) ; Belák, Michal (advisor)
The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the description of sensory processes, human eye and visual perception. The following are traffic participant and get data using the method of eye tracking. The practical part consisted in the evaluation of driving video recordings describing the driver's observation. The frequency and length of the pedestrian observation was evaluated, and the graphical processing was performed depending on whether the pedestrian actually crossed the road or simulated walking on the side of the roadway.
The Energy of a Flying Object Necessary for Damaging the Vehicle Windscreen
Havlík, Ondřej ; Tylšar, Vladimír (referee) ; Bradáč, Albert (advisor)
The theoretical part of the thesis entitled "The Required Energy of a Flying Object to Damage a Windscreen" covers the historical development of glass as a raw material and its further use as a key material for the automotive industry. In the following chapters, the thesis provides an analysis of a windscreen in general including the material composition of various windscreen manufacturers, the distribution according to the accessories used in the windscreens, and the various options of placing a windscreen in a car bodywork. The homologation of a windscreen and the procedure for replacing or repairing a windscreen after a damage is also covered. Lastly, the experimental part of the thesis describes the process of testing the required energy of a flying object to damage a windscreen.
Analysis and Evaluation of Documentation on Real Vehicle Damage after Minor Traffic Accidents
Kuncová, Andrea ; Tylšar, Vladimír (referee) ; Vémola, Aleš (advisor)
Diploma thesis analyzes documentation recieved from city magistrates, insurance companies or directly from police, concerning minor accidents. Documentation consists of a road accident reports, photodocumentation and plans of a real life collision sites, filed by the police and its experts. Analysis of this documentation and its consequent evaluation shows the extend of the damage occuring to an actual vehicles involved in a minor road accidents and what evidence left on site by these collisions. Informations gained from the analysis could be used as a guide when processing an insurance claim.
Study of Mechanical Damaging of Car Bodies with Different Tools in Context of Insurance Fraud
Bednářová, Lucie ; Tylšar, Vladimír (referee) ; Semela, Marek (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a problem of insurance frauds in context with manipulated events. It describes the possible causes of committing this crime and the possibility of detection. In conjunction with the objectives of this thesis was carried out extensive experiments of mechanical damage of car bodies with defined tools. Origin of damage and its character were assessed in mechanoskopical terms. After that intentional damage of vehicles was compared with the declared traffic accidents and similar damage occurring at parked vehicles. This part can be used to create at a comparative database of intentional damage to vehicles in solving the technical acceptability of damage that is suitable material for use as an expert activities.
Turning Radius Limits of Vehicles and Common Drivers and Their Application in Software for Traffic Accident Reconstruction
Jelínková, Eliška ; Tylšar, Vladimír (referee) ; Semela, Marek (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the turning technique of cars and common drivers. The thesis examines the behavior of vehicles and drivers when cornering, forward and reverse driving. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the technique of turning vehicles and common drivers and apply the acquired data to simulation programs for road accident analysis. The individual aims of the thesis are theoretical description of the given problem and experimental verification of the parameters of radii, angles and time course of turning of different vehicles and common drivers in forward and reverse driving under comparable conditions and to describe mutual relations.
Evaluation of technical condition of vehicles
Košťál, Ondřej ; Tylšar, Vladimír (referee) ; Panáček, Vladimír (advisor)
Diploma thesis will be addressed about issue of vehicle inspection at Inspection stations in Czech republic and neighboring countries. Thesis will be concentrate about legislation, metodics, evaluation of technical condition and influence of dangerous faults to vehicle operation. One part of thesis will be proposal of provision to increase safety in vehicle tradic.
Possibilities of a Motorcycle Rider Spotting a Pedestrian at Night
Spurný, Jan ; Tylšar, Vladimír (referee) ; Bradáč, Albert (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with possibility of a spotting differently dressed pedestrian by motorcycle rider at night based on realized experiment with different types of motorycycles and its coparison with already measured values from personal motor vehicles
Methodology for the Inspection of Traffic Accident Sites by the Police
Dvořáček, Tomáš ; Tylšar, Vladimír (referee) ; Semela, Marek (advisor)
This thesis comprehensively covers the concept of procedure of examination of a traffic accident location by the police and its subsequent documentation in order to maximize the data and materials objectification. The thesis pursue to describe each step taken while investigating a traffic accident, as well as provides an overview of processing the facts collected and the measurements taken at the scene. Furthermore, a summary of each type of clue and damages occurring in the causality with traffic accidents is provided.
The Influence of Modern Passive Safety Features in the Protection of a Vehicle's Occupants
Vostrejž, Jan ; Tylšar, Vladimír (referee) ; Semela, Marek (advisor)
Thesis in the field of passive safety problems, traffic accidents and health outcomes of participants in road traffic accidents is aimed, inter alia, to create an overview of modern passive safety elements especially cars. The work deals with elements of the passive safety system and the impact on the crew vehicle. It describes the principle of operation, especially airbags, safety belts, belt pretensioner and it includes solution of limiters tensioning force in the safety belt and other elements that have the task of reducing the consequences of a traffic accident. The use of modern elements of passive safety provides increased protection for the crew and eliminates the formation injuries crew. The technical issue is therefore closely related to the healthcare industry and in particular the Court of medicine in the field of personal injury in relation to the types and characters of incidents, or by applying of the safety elements. There are also shown the actual road accidents in which were killed or injured members of crew with an analysis of the mechanism of injury with the use or non-use of safety elements.
Circumstances and Legal Consequences of Daytime Road Accidents with Pedestrians
Rožková, Magdaléna ; Tylšar, Vladimír (referee) ; Semela, Marek (advisor)
The diploma thesis „Circumstances and Legal Consequences of Daytime Road Accidents with Pedestrian“ deals with the interpretation of legal decisions on traffic accidents causes by the vehicle during the day and where the other participant was a pedestrian. The main aim of this work is to find the established limits for the assessment of fault in comparable accident situations. Basic concepts, as a traffic accident, participants of traffic accidents and the position of an expert in the criminal proceedings, are defined within the theoretical part of the thesis. It also deals with the biomechanical aspects of a pedestrian – vehicle collision and the violation of specific regulations. Approximately 1,530 judical decisions were studied and analyzed in the analytical part, of which 40 were selected, that correspond to the requirements of this thesis. In the analytical part there are also 4 expert opinions provided by the Institute of Forensic Engineering of Brno University of Technology, where the above – mentioned limits for the assessment of accidents were applied, as well as the decision according to the jurisdiction.
