Lopaurová, Štěpánka ; Beláňová, Andrea (advisor) ; Trpišovská, Dobromila (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with religious conversion and changes that accompany this turn of man. Specifically, it deals with the conversion to the Roman Catholic Church and the change of self-efficacy. The goal is to answer the questions of how converts describe themselves as active agents in life before and after conversion, and what role does faith in God and the perceived relationship with him plays in this description. Furthermore, how the self-efficacy has changed due to religious beliefs - that is, how converts perceive themselves as capable of influencing their lives. In the broadest sense, the work should contribute to the understanding of man, his motives and experience, also by using his spiritual component. The research was made qualitatively, in the form of semi-structured interviews with ten converts, who for some part of their lives considered themselves to be unbelievers, then they went through the experience they call a religious conversion, got baptized and joined the Roman Catholic Church. They are now practicing believers. The results show that due to the belief gained, there are changes in several areas, such as belief in the lack of competence to manage one's own life, the feeling capability and activating an individual in a particularly pro-social direction despite awareness of...

Hoferková, Eva ; Trpišovská, Dobromila (advisor) ; Viktorová, Ida (referee)
The aim of the thesis on the topic of Self-concept in adolescence is to clarify the construct of self-concept from the perspective of personality psychology, because self-concept is an individual specific characteristic of human personality and its meaning is unquestionable. In the course of human ontogenesis, self-conception gradually develops, and forms based on acquired knowledge about itself and has its differences in each developmental period. The work is focused on the period of adolescence and therefore also presents typical features of self-concept in adolescents. The end of compulsory schooling is an important milestone in the life of adolescents, which relates to the process of choosing a profession that his work is associated with school success. The empirical part focuses on finding out whether there is a relationship between the self-concept of school success and the choice of future profession in adolescents. In this respect, it is essential that the way in which adolescents experience and evaluate their own school success can affect the career choice process. The objectives and research questions were set for the quantitative research. A standardized SPAS questionnaire examining the self-concept of school success was used as a diagnostic tool to obtain data, as well as a...
Collaboration of teachers and parents
Nováková, Barbora ; Viktorová, Ida (advisor) ; Trpišovská, Dobromila (referee)
The subject of this thesis is teacher-parent communication and cooperation with school management within this communication. The research took place in two Prague schools, high school and grammar school. Qualitative methods were applied for the analysis. Data were acquired via in-depth interviews with six teachers and two school psychologists. The main goal of the empirical research was to map how teachers perceive communication with parents and assess cooperation with school management in this communication. The results of the analysis suggest that there are many similar elements in teacher-parent communication. The communication usually takes place during formal class meetings with parents and via group e- mails. In case of problems teachers contact parents by phone or meet them individually in person. The variability in the category content of one teacher and in the frequency profile of the other teacher seems to be closely related to the risks associated with communication. One of the risks is crossing the boundaries of school competence by parents. In the latter case, there was a vague delineation of boundaries and the confluence of school and family competences. Future Career Ideas - T he Story of a Private High School Junior Year Students
Lukášová, Hana ; Klusák, Miroslav (advisor) ; Vacek, Pavel (referee) ; Trpišovská, Dobromila (referee)
The study is based on the assumption that J. L. Holland's typology of personalities and work environment can be taken for the mainstream theory regarding the issue of career planning. The essential question of this research is whether and to what extent Holland's theory and the concepts implemented in its consulting practice are already premeditated in the minds of contemporary adolescents, namely of thirty-two junior year students attending a private secondary school in Prague. The main source of empirical data comes from semi-structured interviews conducted by the author from the perspective of a school psychologist. The application of qualitative analysis led to the determination of three fundamental concepts of professional future. The trio provides a guide for interpreting both the ways in which respondents further evolve the self-aware part of their mindsets they have decided to professionalize and the complications that may accompany such process. During the analysis it was revealed that besides the pursuit of information in an attempt to determine one's individual place in the world the process of career decision-making contains a strong emotional dimension accompanying such pursuit.
