Time frame of elementary school principals

Abstracts: This bachelor's thesis concerns the technique intended to determine the distribution of individual activities during the day. This analytic technique is known as the "time frame". In this thesis, the technique is described not only theoretically, including the short overview about the alternative managers' techniques resulting with the better effectivity of elementary school principals' work. The thesis contains also a demonstration of practical research. Having the form of a special questionnaire, the time frames of a few elementary school principals are identified and processed, including the part of their personal time, i. e. not within the working hours. The proposed procedures should protect against the time thieves, as well as increase the effectivity of daily working habits of the elementary school principal. This thesis shows the interconnection of individual managers' techniques with time management field and brings inspiration to elementary school principals on how to use their time more effectively.

Founder' Method of School Headmasters Evaluation

The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation methods of headmasters. The aim of the thesis was to find out if the founders have predetermined the methodology of the evaluation of headmasters within the randomly chosen group of school founders in Central Bohemian region. The first part focuses on the characteristics of theoretical information in the sphere of human resource management. Particularly, it describes the common evaluation methods of employees and familiarisation with the problem of school ambience. The research is realised by quantitative method and the empirical sort of survey with the use of questionnaire where the main objective is to find out whether the founders predetermined the methodology of the school headmasters evaluation. The thesis is divided into partial aims which tries to determine who sets the methodology of the evaluation of the school headmasters. The reasons for the evaluation of headmasters by the founders have been found out. Furthermore, it also took the widely used ways of evaluation into account and what are the motivational factors, according to the founder, in order to improve its own working productivity. Intergration of Students with Learning Disorders as a Chance for South Bohemian Secondary Schools

The integration of pupils with special educational requierements as a chance for South Bohemian secondary schools? The following pages provide the confirmation that these are not just empty words. The author purposely chose a bordering topic that covers psychology and management because the integration itself is conteplated from the point of view of a leading official in educational system. Some basic terms from the field of integration and commented legislative framework related to integration will be introduced to the reader. Special attention deserve the personal observations and perceptions from the school, where the integration takes place. The goal of the author is to point out precisely the difficulties of the whole process and to give suggestions and methods for solving them effectively. In the second practical part the author presents the integration as a impulse towards the change of the strategic planning together with pros and cons of such a change. The author puts forward statistically processed demographical development and analysis of competitive environment in South Bohemia, which precedes such a crucial decision to understand integration as a positive impulse that might uplift the school in longer terms. Education in Transition: Comparison of the Educational System in the Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia in the Early 21st century

The present work compares the educational systems in the Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia in the period of political, econom- ic and social transformation after the fall of the communist regimes in 1990. These states were chosen considering their shared historical experience, similar social and economic conditions and shared vision of the inevitable democrati- zation and European integration (in Serbia after 2000). In a diachronic com- parison, a special emphasis is put on the analysis of the constitutional anchoring of the education, education legislation and government and ministerial strategic documents. In this respect, all four countries are nearly identical; the constitu- tions mention education only marginally, but the relevant laws are very volumi- nous and they are changing as often as elected political representatives. At first, long-term development plans blindly followed European reform trends, then these plans were more focused on specific measures under local conditions. In a synchronous comparison the special attention is paid to the current parame- ters of the educational systems and basic educational statistics at various levels of education from pre-primary to tertiary education. Delegation of competences in Kindergartens

My bachelor thesis deals with the process of delegating management competences of pedagogical process in kindergartens with one or more detached places of work which form one legal subject. This work is to present the process of delegating, shows its positives as well as negatives and possible risk. It also brings survey of competences which can be delegated to teachers by a headteacher. There are two parts of the thesis, theoretical and a research. The research is based on the analysis of the questionnaire which main aim is to find out who are the competences delegated to. Accountability of Public and Private Elementary School

The bachelor's thesis deals with the school accountability. It explores accountability as a phenomenon that exists but it is not explicitly expressed and systematically integrated into the process of managerial control in Czech school. The work summarizes the gained knowledge and approaches to accountability in Czech and foreign environment and their links with the school management in general. The aim of qualitative research is to contribute to the expansion of scientific knowledge in this area. There are identified external subjects of public and private schools in the case study, their main interests which are subsequently compared. The work is intended for school directors; bringing a more detailed view on demands of external subjects, both public and private schools, offering specific procedures and recommendations to school management, which can be considered as an accountable proceeding to external subjects. Level and Efficiency of External Controls of Schools in Liberec Region (Focused on Founders' Competences and Mutual Cooperation During the Inspection)

My thesis analyzes and evaluates the status and functioning of the education system in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, it analyzes the causes and consequences of influence of each factor on its quality. The found knowledge is summarized in the proposal of the new external school evaluation. Conslusions are based on the results of inquiry of directors, founders and employees of Czech School Inspection of Liberec region, based on the results of the national project Road to Quality Improvement realized in the Czech Republic, as well as the conclusions are based on results of international teams interested in implementation of evalution of school systems, for example Organization for Economic Cooperation Development (OECD), McKinsey & Company and Standing Conference of Central and General Inspectorates of Education (SICI). The aim of this thesis it to find the scale of competences and responsibility of each subject in educational politics. It is focused on qualification of founders and drawing of consequences coming from all indentified aspects.
