Effects of the rehabilitation program on a stage of patients with a total shoulder arthroplasty

Title: Effect of rehabilitation on patient status after total arthroplasty of shoulder joint Objectives: This thesis in theoretical part informs about resources of total shoulder arthroplasty. The research of thesis concentrates on assessment of function of the shoulder joint after total joint replamcement. Method: The clinical part was processed using standardized questionnaire with 34 patients from the rehabilitation clinic Medicentrum at Praha. This part compares the data 3 months after total shoulder arthroplasty with preoperative condition obtained restrospective at the same time. Results: The results show influence of the indications, age of the patient and dominance of the operated upper extremity on the successfulness after total shoulder arthroplasty. Domestic violence in society

English abstract Domestic violence in society This thesis is divided into two parts to reflect the definition of domestic violence as a very broad social (gender) and legal term. The opening chapter provides an introduction to the theory of domestic violence along with en explanation of its elementary features and concepts. The chapter describes domestic violence as a societal problem which - in the light of statistically proven (and surprisingly frequent) occurrence and presumptive high latency - cannot be put aside as a marginal pathological phenomenon. Such (erroneous) conclusion, however, is tempting since there are many myths around intimate violence, as is a general misapprehension that both victims of domestic violence as well as persons abusing their close relatives can be unmistakably identified. The author of this work aspires to refute such conclusions by pointing to criminological as well as victimological specifics of a person that is the victim or perpetrator of domestic violence. The second chapter explores the factors of feminization of domestic violence, including the aspects of gender, gender socialization and its dynamics, discrimination and violence against women. At the end is the comparation of our achievements with foreign studies. This part compares the data 3 months after total shoulder arthroplasty with preoperative condition obtained restrospective at the same time. Autor: Anežka Kudrnová Title: Case study of Physical treatment of Patient with Arthroplasty of the Shoulder joint Summary: This thesis discusses a case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with arthroplasty of shoulder joint caused by traumatic four-fragments fracture of proximal humerus. The aim of the first, general part of the work is to introduce this diagnosis, surgery and conservative approach in case of fracture proximal humerus. It deals with the general anatomy, biomechanics and kinesiology of shoulder joint. The specificities of rehabilitation after arthroplasty of shoulder joint are also discussed. The second, practical part of the thesis describes a case report of a patient with this diagnosis. This is a patient I was working with in MediCentrum in January 2015. First the anamnesis, initial kinesiologic examination, design and cours of therapy are described. Then, final kinesiologic examination and evaluation of the therapy are presented.
