Utilization of cloud solutions in business

Thesis describes the concept of cloud computing and its development into today's form. First section defines cloud computing through several definitions. It also describes important capabilities of the technology. Second section is presenting case studies of cloud deployment in Czech companies. It is evaluating advantages and disadvantages of the particular solution in use. Third section is presenting results of quantitative research that was carried out on this topic with IT professionals working in Czech private sector.
Analysis of small internet shop and its propagation

This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of small online store Náušnice od Tintiny (Tintina's earrings). First there will be a brief introduction into the store and its history. Next chapter is dedicated to web content management system Prestashop. This software is designed for administration of online stores. The fourth chapter analyzes the online store while answering following questions: How is the online store perceived by customers? How is the online store perceived by visitors? What is the target group the shop aims for? What is the price and margins? What are the strengths and weaknesses of the store and its opportunities and threats? Is the shop optimized for search engines? The following chapter deals with the propagation of the store. For the promotion we used the social network Facebook, Sklik.cz and also websites offering discounts. The sixth chapter evaluates used promotion tools and compares their success. Last chapter contains recommendation especially for this online store. However, these recommendations are easily applicable for similar small online stores that make similar mistakes.
An analysis of the internet marketing of the corporation STUDENT AGENCY with focus on railway transport

The theses disserts about communication strategy of corporation STUDENT AGENCY. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the company marketing strategy, its marketing activities on the internet, evaluation and to create a list of suggestions and recommendation. The theoretical part is dedicated to general meaning of web entrepreneurship and other specifications of the classical and internet marketing. Practical part deals with the corporate environment, including market and competition analyses. The thesis gives also brief information about other activities of STUDENT AGENCY which involve tourism as well. Basic tools of the company communication mix, as well as its deficiencies, are mentioned in the thesis. The contribution of the thesis lies in the complex view on the company and its marketing communication, which allows to create a comprehensive opinion about the current position and future development of the company.
Internet Sources Used by Headhunting Companies

This thesis explores the sources used by headhunting companies to find suitable candidates. In the first chapter it will be explained how headhunting companies work and what are the best companies in the Czech market and in the world market. The most important sources used by headhunters are described in detail in following chapter, whereas the sources were divided into two groups (active and passive) based on the attitude of the candidate -- whether he or she is actively looking for a job. The survey, in which the author examined the most used sources used by people that are looking for a job is described in the third chapter. This chapter is followed by a description of how to proceed when the candidate wants to make himself attractive to a headhunter and how to keep his attention. The outcome of this work is a recommendation of sources that should be used for search for candidates at different position. The recommendations are based on a comparison of results from survey and the methods used by headhunters.
Information Systems in SMEs- Application in Company STROJÍRNA Vehovský s.r.o.

This thesis deals with issues of information and communication technologies, particularly their position in society and influence on the world economy. Afterwards, this work is focused on most extended application modules of business information systems. At the same time, the attention is turned on SMEs where is emphasized the opportunity of getting financial support from funds of European Union. The thesis specializes in an implementation of IS, both theoretically and practically. The whole process is presented on the example of the company STROJÍRNA Vehovský s. r. o. Finally, I evaluate benefits of project, summarize conclusions and draw consequences from implementation of IS to other contemporary companies.
Analysis of the environment of the Pilsen and Prague zoological garden

This bachelor thesis deals with an analysis of the environment of the Pilsen ZOO and botanical garden and the Prague zoological garden. The thesis is divided into three parts. The introductory chapter is devoted to defining basic notions of shopping atmosphere with regard to the specific environment of the ZOO. The second chapter is focused on the ZOO's presentation. The final part analyses results of author's own and marketing survey, reveals ZOO's strengths and weaknesses and includes possible suggestions that could lead to a greater satisfaction of visitors.
Marketing and social networks

This bachelor thesis deals with the functioning of the Internet social networks and their usage for marketing purpose. The aim of the thesis is to present the current social networking sites and to describe the procedure of creating an advertisement on these sites. At the final section, the author summarizes data collected about marketing and social networks. On the basis of her own research that concerns the social networking sites and the advertising on them, as much as perception of this type of marketing by the consumer, the author makes conclusion about the most convenient type of the social network marketing. She also gives an advice to the companies about the creation of advertisements on social networking sites according to the results of her research.
Internet as a tool through entering the new foreign market

The main purpose of the Bachelor thesis is to subscribe and design optimal procedures for companies who aim to enter the new foreign market via the internet. The thesis is also based on theoretical and working knowledge. The first chapter of the Bachelor thesis is focused on demarcation internet surroundings. In addition, the first chapter highlights the main advantages and disadvantages of the internet and also show possibilities of the internet such as a revolutionary medium. The second part represents the mentioned optimal procedure by entering the new foreign market. To sum up, this thesis exploits the author's working experience and presents a summary of current activities that a company could use in the internet environment.
Information system of creative economy

The thesis aims at creative economy and its development within Czech and Slovak Republic. Since it is relatively new phenomenon, the thesis outlines the main definitions and refers to the importance of creative sector. It also analyses problems and risks that are related to support of the creative economy. The creation of information system is considered to be a milestone in development of the creative economy, what is the target of this thesis. The practical part sets the procedure and analyses programmes of two real projects - Košice EHMK 2013 and A Cross-border Cluster Initiative for the Development of Creative Industries, on which basis the steps of the procedure are specified.
The relevance of e-learning courses on a labour market

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to determine the competitiveness of electronic courses in the labor market and find out if employers are willing to accept this kind of courses as an advantage while looking for a job. As a deputy of electronic course I chose educational portal Univerzita pre moderné Slovensko, which provides video lectures in subject of economics in the Slovak Republic and worldwide. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of e-learning features, its comparison with the type of face-to-face learning and its forms. The practical part characterises portal Univerzita pre moderné Slovensko and shows the results of questionnaire answerd by the students of the portal and a reaserch among personal agencies, weather the diploma of this electronic portal can be an advantige on the labour market.
