The thesis is divided into four parts. Each of these parts is further divided into individual chapters and sub-chapters that specify it. In the first part, basic terms will be defined, which are the basic building blocks for subsequent interpretation. Furthermore, the criteria for the administration of a minor's assets are presented, which include the best interest of the child, the care of a proper householder, not taking unreasonable risks and control of the regularity of the administration. An early mediaeval cementery by Mlékojedy whittin his regional context
Derner, Kryštof ; Štefan, Ivo (advisor) ; Tomková, Kateřina (referee)
The basis of the presented thesis is a description of an early mediaeval burial ground in Mlékojedy "Nad hřbitovem", which was discovered in the year 2007. Based on the grave goods, it is dated back from the beginnig of the 10th to the half of the 11th century. The relation of the grave goods to anthropological attributes of burried individuals shows namely an increase in ratio of equipped graves up to an early adulthood and then its gradual reduction. The arrangement of a grave was dependent on dating. The grave with an elite female gariture and the grave with weapons are compared with the similar ones discovered in hinterland of the Litoměřice fortification. A regular positioning of burial grounds on the left bank of the river Labe as early as at the beginning of the 10th century shows an early settlement of this area and allows to dicover the extent of the Litoměřice agglomeration. The author of this thesis proposes, that a simultaneous abandoning of the both known burial grounds in the Mlekojedy estates is an evidence for a transfer of the burial grounds closer to a sanctuary located in the center of the contemporary village. Key words Burial ground, early mediaeval, Mlékojedy, Litoměřice distr., 10th. century, 11th. century, earrings, weapons, social topography, history of settlement,...

Current issues of the studies of multicoloured beads from the early medieval Bohemia
Tomková, Kateřina ; Křížová, Šárka
A summary of the findings of early medieval finds of polychrome beads from Bohemia, including the basic typological scheme based on the inventory of these beads. Special attention is paid to beads with simple and especially millefiori eyes in combination with crossing trails. The different chemical composition of glasses of both types of beads, as determined by the SEM-EDS method, may indicate different production centers. The topography of Central European findings suggests that these beads have spread to Bohemia from the Carpathian basin, which has been the mediator of cultural influence from Southern and Eastern Europe.
Levý Hradec's Position in the Process of the Formation of the Early Medieval Pemyslid Domain
Tomková, Kateřina ; Sláma, Jiří (advisor) ; Štefan, Ivo (referee) ; Štefanovičová, Tatjana (referee)
The subject of this work is the study of the position of Levý Hradec in the process of the formation of the development of the early medieval Přemyslid domain. The description of the current state of the art of the study of written and archaeological sources leads to a new specification of the settlement area of Levý Hradec. The core of this thesis critically evaluates the cemeteries of Žalov-Na Panenské, Žalov-cihelna A and Žalov-cihelna B, Žalov-Levý Hradec and Levý Hradec-St Clement's Church with regard to other burials in the cadastre of Žalov. The analysis of the burial rite and the material culture aims to specify the cultural and chronological frames, which it will be possible to utilise in the study of early medieval burial grounds not only in Bohemia but in Central Europe in general. The study of the social aspects of burying allows to track the differences in the dating and social setting of various communities, to deal with correspondences and differences between the inhabitants of Levý Hradec, of the Prague agglomeration and of the Mělník District, as well as the differences between individual hillforts. This way it is possible to prove that the cemeteries turn out to be a valuable source for the study of the development of the Central Bohemian Přemyslid domain. The introductory part...

The aim of this thesis called "Disciplinary liability of health care professionals, relationship to criminal liability" is to analyse and compare criminal and disciplinary liability in medicine and outline their relationship. Considering its topicality and interdisciplinary character, I found this matter to be very inspiring. Although the medical liability issue seems to be very popular and frequently discussed subject, there are some aspects and problems that need to be sorted out in order to provide the doctors with a minimal standard of legal certainity. The thesis is composed of five chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of any kind of liability rising out of medical profession. First chapter is subdivided into four parts briefly describing civil, labour, administrative and contractual liability relating to medicine. Part three illustrates the conditions of criminal liability. Part four adressess the issue of circumstances excluding illegality in medicine. Part five and six present the nature of medical intervention and define the term of health care professionals. Part seven and eight deals...
