Title: The effect of a six-week physiotherapeutic intervention in child patients with clubfoot evaluated with a change in ROM of ankle dorsiflexion and the quality of gait measured by 2D analysis. Objectives: The aim of this work was evaluation of six-week physiotherapeutic intervention focused on movement and stability improvement in child patients with clubfoot based on a change in ROM of ankle dorsiflexion and the quality of gait measured by 2D analysis. Methods: The work consists of a theoretical part, which summarizes the theoretical background to the chosen topic, and a practical part. For the purposes of the practical part, an intervention group of patients (aged from 3 to 6 years) who have already received medical treatment for clubfoot, was created. The physiotherapeutic intervention period was six weeks, during that period there were from 4 to 5 individual exercises supplemented with home exercises. At the beginning and at the end there were control measurements. The control measurements consisted of a clinical examination and a 2D analysis of gait, supplemented by a dynamometric examination of gait. Transformations of the Central Asian Regional Energy Security Complex after 1991: The Case of the Turkmenistan - China Gas Pipeline

The presented doctoral thesis analyses energy security in the Central Asia region, with an emphasis on the natural gas sector. The research sought to answer the question of whether individual state actors in Central Asia are more inclined towards a strategic-oriented or market-oriented approach to energy policy in the formulation of their respective energy policy. Answering this research question aimed at better understanding the approach of individual state actors to large infrastructure projects, such as the construction of the Central Asia-China Gas Pipeline. A regional energy security complex of Central Asia was constructed for work purposes. In addition to the five Central Asian states, it also includes Russia and China as two major natural gas importers from the region. Based on theoretical literature, a model for assessing the natural gas sector in terms of the formulation of energy policy by individual state actors was developed. Title: Case study of Physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after implantation of total knee joint replacement Objectives: The aim of this work was to elaborate a case report of a patient with a knee joint replacement, find theoretical background for this diagnosis and apply acquired knowledge in therapy. Methods: The work consists of a theoretical and a special part. The theoretical part deals with the anatomy and kinesiology of the knee joint, osteoarthritis and its treatment, an implantation of a total knee replacement as a surgical method of osteoarthritis treatment, rehabilitation after the implantation of the total knee endoprosthesis and appropriate physiotherapeutic techniques during patient's care after the implantation. A special part is elaborated in the form of a case study of a patient after an implantation of a total knee replacement. It consists of anamnesis, an entry kinesiological examination, records of therapeutic units, an outcome kinesiological examination and an evaluation of the effect of the therapy. Results: During the therapies designed according to the acquired knowledge from the theoretical part of the thesis, the patient's health status was improved. The Natural Resource Course? Regional Level Analysis

The thesis deals with the existence or absence of a curse of mineral resource (more closely specified in the form of so-called curse of natural resources) namely on the most important mining regions of the selected group of developing countries with significant mining sector. The aim is to capture the regional benefits of mining, or its negative impact with the help of indicator of the relative position of the quality of life of the mining region (relativized to the other regions of watched country). You can see the greatest benefits of the work in this approach of monitoring the impacts of a possible curse (or benefit) of mineral resources at the regional level, as the majority of similar thesis is devoted to the comparison of countries, or the individual studies. The reader finds an overview of the basic mechanisms and factors affecting the use, benefit or a curse of mineral resources, as well as partial specifically aimed analyzes watched mining countries, including the determination of mining regions and finally a summary of reclaimed pieces of knowledgee, including the attempt of interpretation. Strategie působení ČR v EU: kupředu ni krok: Jak se konkrétně česká vláda staví k jednotnému trhu, posílení hospodářského růstu, energetické politice a vybraným institucionálním otázkám?

Po třech letech svého působení naplnil dnes již bývalý kabinet Petra Nečase jeden ze závazků ze svého programového prohlášení, a to když 15. května letošního roku schválil Strategii působení ČR v EU. Český kabinet měl v plánu schválit dokument, který by zahrnoval aktivní a koncepční evropskou politiku státu a definoval základní rámec a priority jejího střednědobého a dlouhodobého uplatňování, jehož cílem je definovat podobu a nástroje k naplňování aktivní evropské politiky České republiky (str. 3). V praxi však dala vláda za vznik pětadvacetistránkovému textu, který je spíše taktikou, jak reagovat na aktuální a střednědobé iniciativy a legislativní návrhy na unijní úrovni, než strategií střednědobého až dlouhodobého působení ČR v EU. Následující text se snaží kriticky zanalyzovat tři vybrané priority, které ve Strategii vláda pojmenovala: institucionální otázky a otázky primárního práva EU; jednotný trh a posílení hospodářského růstu; a energetickou politiku. Zde je na místě uvést, že i když je Strategie působení ČR v EU poměrně krátký dokument, vláda diskuzi otázek spojených s EU neomezovala pouze na čtyři výše zmíněné priority.

Iodine content in meat

The main goal of my diploma thesis was to review the amount of iodine in meat of foodanimals. This diploma thesis brings current information about the iodine content in meat in The Czech Republic. The samples were extracted during the years 2004 to 2007. On the whole 63 samples, in which the content of iodine was set by Sandell - Kollthof method, were taken. The average content of iodine in meat was as follows : rabbits 19,2; domestic pigs 16,17; market pigs 16,96; wild pigs 57,72 and deer 38,31 g I  kg-1 wet matter. Regional and seasonal differences were proved.
