Face Detection in Video on GPU
Tesař, Martin ; Nečas, Ondřej (referee) ; Polok, Lukáš (advisor)
This work deals with task of face detection on graphic card. First part is the introduction to face detection methods focusing on detector proposed by Viola and Jones. Further, this work studies the possibilities of mapping detector's key parts on graphic card. Next part describes implementation details of designed application. The end of work include results and comparison with CPU approach. The last chapter summarizes the whole work and proposes future possibilities of development.
Fractals and Their Applications in Computer Graphics
Tesař, Martin ; Čermák, Martin (referee) ; Koutný, Jiří (advisor)
First part of this bachelors thesis consists of fractal theory, Hausdorff dimension and their applications in computer graphics. In second part is choosen idea for application. It is interactive creation of flame fractals. In this section, there is defined mathematical system of iterated functions, that is the heart of flame fractals. After mathematical examination follows analysis of original algorithm for creation of flame fractals. Thesis continues with methods for image improvement and suggests new enhancements.
Simulation of the pedestrian evacuation from the school facility
Tesař, Martin ; Plášek, Josef (referee) ; Apeltauer, Tomáš (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis is focused on basic principles of soft targets security and on threats aimed at them. Part of this thesis is about the process of an evacuation movement modeling from a grammar school building, specifically the grammar school in Brno-Řečkovice. The model of the building has been created in the Revit program and the simulation of the movement in the Pathfinder program, which is based on agent simulation technologies. As for the methodology, the thesis is a comparison of the evacuation processes under different conditions.
General plan of barrier-free routes in Blansko
Tesař, Martin ; Radimský, Michal (referee) ; Matuszková, Radka (advisor)
This work focuses on evaluating the condition of barrier-free routes in the town of Blansko. Another aim of this work is to propose changes of these routes thanks to which they would comply with Decree No. 398/2009 Coll., on general technical requirements ensuring barrier-free use of buildings, and for people with reduced mobility or orientation these routes would be user friendly. Additionaly, it acquaints the reader with technical requirements that ensure barrier-free use of road constructions and public spaces. In the theoretical part, the work acquaints the reader with target group of users for whom well-designed barrier-free spaces are important, introduces the elements and their use and, last but not the least, approaches the way of orientation and movement of target group of users. The practical part evaluates the accessibility of selected routes that connect public amenities. Subsequently, it proposes modifications that aim to facilitate the movement of people with limited mobility and orientation in the street space.
Microfinance: Fighting poverty vs. sustainable banking
Tesař, Martin ; Streblov, Pavel (advisor) ; Bauer, Michal (referee)
The thesis deals with microfinance institutions and their ability to serve very poor clients even without a continuous inflow of subsidies from donors. After disclosing the specificities that distinguish the clientele of these organizations from the clients of commercial banks in the developer world, the analysis of selected institutions from South Asia, includng the famous Grameen Bank of Bangladesh, is performed. Using the data gathered from their annual reports of these microfinance institutions, the individual dependence on subsides during one decade is evaluated. The final part of the thesis utilizes the similarities that appear in the individual axamination and the econometric analysis of the data for the extraction of the key factors and strategies that can help to decrease the dependence of this sector on donor financial support. The analysis finds that higher depth of outreach of an organization to the very poor does not inevitably lead to lower level of self- sustainability. The way to profitability may reside in appropriate interest rate policy and mobilization of savings.
Vliv vybraného preparátu k synchronizaci říje na reprodukci prasniček
TESAŘ, Martin
The aim of this master thesis was to evaluate reproduction traits of gilts and sows and assess influence of selected preparation for estrus synchronisation on reproduction of gilts. There were 2 593 sows and 729 gilts in the test. There were evaluated data of reproduction performance of gilts both treated and not treated by Altresyn? with active ingredient altrenogest. Gilts from the experimental group were given altrenogest (20 mg) for the period of 18 days as a method for estrus synchronization. Total number of 528 synchronized gilts (95.3%) showed signs of estrus. 91.5% of treated gilts were inseminated 5th to 7th day after finishing the altrenogest application. The conception rate in year 2018 at mating without the estrus synchronisation was 81.2% and the farrowing rate 77.1%. The selected farm started using Altresyn? in year 2019. The conception rate went up to 81.8 % and farrowing rate to 78.2 %. (These figures were from January to November). The treated gilts gave birth to 0.19 total born piglets more (13.09 piglets vs. 12.90 piglets) and 0.23 live born piglets more piglets (12.25 piglets vs. 12.02 piglets) than to gilts that were not treated by altrenogest. The highest number of total born piglets (13.3 piglets) was at gilts that were inseminated in the age of 250-259 days and 280-289 days. The gilts that were not treated by Altresyn? were first mated earlier (252.5 days) than gilts treated by Altresyn? (254.7 days).

Zhodnocení produkce selat v rámci firemního programu
TESAŘ, Martin
The aim of the bachelor thesis was evaluated in the Martínkov breeding industry, the company Dešná, the reproductive utility of sows of the company Hypor program and the factors that affect it. In the thesis there is an outline of the effect of external and internal factors affecting the fertility of pigs and especially the influence of the genotype, the age of 1st pig embarrassment, the intervals, the order and number of the litter, nutrition and feeding, microclimatic conditions and the operation of the technology. At the end of the thesis are summarized the acquired knowledge, which contribute to the improvement of pig reproduction indicators. The monitored herd of rearing as of December 31, 2017 consisted of 800 sows (including pregnant gilts) and 230 unrestrained gilts. The first placement of gilts in the holding is most often performed from the 230th to the 260th day of life. In the reference year 2017, an average of one sow per year was 34 live births and 30.7 weaned weaners. Altogether, 23 232 weaners were weaned per year.
