Documentation of the Vidimské lávky catwalk (the Kokořínsko region, Czechia)
Martínek, David ; Lysák, Jakub (advisor) ; Tomková, Michaela (referee)
Thesis aims to create large - scale map of the Vidimské lávky catwalk (Kokořínsko region, Czechia) with an accent on representantion of anthropogenic objects in sandstone relief. Among them are unique catwalk path, artificial caves and manmade rock features. The contour method is used for rock depiction, while the data needed for its execution are acquired by drone aerial scanning using lidar technology. Part of the thesis is information about terrain mapping and other materials used in the creation of the topographical and subsequetly cartographical database. Result of the thesis is a printed map with size of 1200 x 500 mm in a scale of 1 : 700. Key words: lidar, drone, large - scale mapping, sandstone rocks, bridges
Analysis of rock hachures drawn using ladder style representation
Ludačková, Markéta ; Lysák, Jakub (advisor) ; Tomková, Michaela (referee)
The thesis deals with the analysis of the drawing of rock hatches created in a ladder style representation on the Czech state map series (SMD), specifically on the last edition of the analogue ZM 10. Therefore, the purpose of this thesis is to, on the basis of many specific uses of this method in maps, determine the frequency of occurrence of variants of the ladder style drawing and its possible spatial context for the purpose of future automation of their digital creation usable, for example, in the new SMD. A total of 11 clusters representing different styles of rock drawing were classified using a cluster analysis based on the calculation of features representing the geometric characteristics of the drawing of the rock. This result represents an exact confirmation of the hypothesis presented in the scientific literature that the drawing of the rocks is not uniform on the map sheets of the SMD. Subsequently, a style of rock drawing which best corresponds to the specification of the ladder style representation from the literature and which is the most represented, is selected. The characteristics of these selected rock drawing styles are further described and discussed. Ultimately, the output of this thesis is the determination of such a style of rock drawing, which makes sense to further analyse...
Tourist map of Srbsko in Český kras with focus on karren relief depiction
Šašková, Marie ; Lysák, Jakub (advisor) ; Tomková, Michaela (referee)
Tourist map of Srbsko in Český kras with focus on karren relief depiction Abstract The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a large-scale tourist map capturing location of Srbsko (Český kras) and surrounding area. The focus is on karren relief depiction. The partial goal of the thesis is to collect and evaluation quality of the available spatial data useful for creating the large-scale map. As the main source of existing data are used ČÚZK data, JESO database and database OpenStreet Map, which is available for free. These data are suplemented based on field survey, which took place using the ArcGIS Collector and a GNSS receiver. The final part describe creation of the tourist map, that respects cartography rules and designing of the symbology. The map is a graphical output of the thesis and can be used as a folding map as well as a board map. Keywords: tourist map, large-scale map, topographic mapping, karren relief depiction, Srbsko (Český kras)
Tourist map of Ostrov u Tisé with focus on sandstone rock drawing
Šedová, Adéla ; Lysák, Jakub (advisor) ; Tomková, Michaela (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to create, based on existing data and field survey, a large-scale tourist map of a small region (Ostrov u Tisé), focusing on rock climbing and sandstone rock representation. Emphasis is placed on getting details about the rock shapes, in order to portray them using a contour method. As the main source of the rock shapes are used data from airborne laser scanning and other available resources. All the other data for the outcoming tourist map are obtained by a combination of processing data from existing datasets and a field survey. A mobile data collection app Collector for ArcGIS is used for the field survey. The created map can be used either as a board map or as a folding map, and is presumably the first map of this location with this level of detail. Key words: large-scale map, topographic mapping, rock drawing, contour method, Ostrov u Tisé
Vybrané vlivy na růst telat masného skotu

The aim of this work was to analyze selected effects on the growth of calves of a selected herd of aberdeen angus cattle in Mýto farm in Hořice na Šumavě for the monitored period of 6 years (2012 - 2017). A total of 242 pure-bred calves of the aberdeen angus breed born during the reference period was included in the evaluation. Birth weight, weight at 120, 210 and 365 days were determined in calves. Subsequently, the group of calves was sorted by sex, year of birth, month of birth, birth order, father's individuality and mother's exterior. The data were statistically processed in Microsoft Excel and evaluated in Statsoft Statistica. When confronted with the national average published in the KUMP deadlines, the observed calves always had a lower birth weight, but higher weight at 120, 210 and 365 days. When evaluating the effect of the year of birth on calf growth, it was found that calves born in 2012 and 2013 achieved the best results. The best months for calving aberdeen angus breeds on the monitored breed were February to April. In terms of birth order, calves born to cows after the third calving achieved the best results. The worst results were achieved by calves from heifers and cows after the ninth calving. The best breeding-bull in breed regarding to the growth ability of calves was the sire ZAA 916. The PAA 027 sire showed the best results in terms of ease of delivery. There was no significant difference in the effect of maternal exterior on the growth ability of calves.
Classification of Airborne Laser Scanning Data in Sandstone Landscapes
Tomková, Michaela ; Lysák, Jakub (advisor) ; Potůčková, Markéta (referee)
Classification of Airborne Laser Scanning Data in Sandstone Landscapes Abstract This work is concerned with the classification of airborne laser scanning data in sandstone landscapes called "rock cities". Standard filters do not work reliably in such a rugged terrain covered with dense vegetation and in the results the rock formations are smoothed or even removed from the terrain. The method of classification suggested in this work is based on the procedure used in manual filtration. When exploring a sufficiently dense point cloud in 3D, one is able to distinguish rock formations from trees even though their shapes are similar. In contrast to trees, rock pillars are modeled only by points reflected off the surface and therefore they make concave elevations in the ground. Because of penetration of trees, there are points reflected off a treetop, branches, leaves and also ground under the tree. The proposed method segments a point cloud according to local minima in approximated surface and classifies these objects into classes rock, tree, and mix by inner point distribution. Objects in classes tree and mix are then filtered by lasground function from LAStools. The method was tested with merged point cloud consisted of data from the standard airborne laser scanning of the Czech Republic and experimental...
Sandstone Landscapes in GIS
Tomková, Michaela ; Lysák, Jakub (advisor) ; Holešinský, Oldřich (referee)
Sandstone Landscapes in GIS Abstract This work is concerned with the representation of sandstone rock formations in digital topographic database. It is based on raster datasets derived from digital relief models created from airborne laser scanning (ALS) data. Objects representing rock faces and their edges, rock pillars and peaks, rugged plateaus, cracks and scattered rocks were created in software ArcGIS for Desktop using scripts in Python. Some of these objects also contain attributes like classification of the object and elevation. Testing was performed on ALS data with various density of point cloud in geomorphologically different sandstone landscapes in Bohemia. Field research was conducted in one of the places of interest to verify the reliability of the digital relief model. Key words: rock formations, sandstone landscapes, digital topographic database, GIS
