Small Coil Winding Machine
Ihnát, Kryštof ; Friedl, Martin (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This work is about designing a small coil winding machine for the school workshop. The first part consists of market research, a comparison of winders, and an explanation as to how they work. It is followed by short chapter about the inspiration for the design and construction. It also includes the parts that were used as well as peripheries. These include the most important component; stepper motors. In the next part, the prototype and subsequent revisions are described, as well as the most important parts of the code and construction of the coil winder itself and it's parts. In the end, there is chapter about it's operation.
Wireless weather station
Hrabovský, Michal ; Marcoň, Petr (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on a plan of a wireless meteostation composed of internal and external unit. Meteostation is supplied by a battery and photovoltaic panel It measures temperature, humidity, pressure, precipitation, speed and direction of wind. Measured data are sent to the internet through wi-fi connection. Internal unit measures temperature and humidity. With the aid of wi-fi connection the internal unit loas data from the internet and then the data show up on display. Measured data can be shown on phone. At the beginning of theoretical part, meteorology will be analysed. Afterwards, this work describes physical principles and the method of measurement of physical quantities which are measured by the meteostation, Internet of Things and cloud services. The second part focuses on the description of meteostation plans. Then it describes hardware and software that was used in the mrtestation. Finally, it describes the schrmr of the device. Third part focuses on construction of the device, 3D printing of its parts.
Ion fields measurement
Svozil, Radek ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (advisor)
The aim of this semester project is the introduction to the problematic of ion fields, where and under what circumstances they originate and extinct and the techniques of measurement. The project will deal with the atmosphere and the electrical field of the Earth. I will consider the composition of the atmosphere and the principles of origin and extinction of ions. I am going to mention the division of ions and their influence on the living organisms. Another topic to be dealt with is the methods for measuring the air ions and the small currents. Gradually we are going to learn the known methods of the measuring of air ions. We are going to get a closer look at the method of measuring with the cylindrical aspiration capacitor. We are also going to deal with the problem of measuring very low currents, where they originate and how it is possible to compensate them. The outcome of the project should be the concept and later the creation of the sonde for the measuring of the ion fields itself.
Laboratory equipment for noise spectroscopy
Segiňák, Ján ; Fiala, Pavel (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This thesis deals with a glossary topic in the field of noise spectroscopy and spectroscopic measurement techniques in a wide range of frequencies. There was designed measuring workplace for noise spectroscopy with a description its parts and experimental measurement method for measure samples in frequency range of 0.1 – 6 GHz by using broadband noise generator. Software support for automated measurement of samples was created in Agilent VEE. The last part of the work is devoted to measurement of samples and evaluating measurement results.
Laboratory power source
Havlíček, Lukáš ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
he goal of this semestral work is to design a switch-mode power supply with the following requirements. The input voltage is determined as constant 230 V AC, whereas output voltage should be infinitely adjustable in range of 0 V – 30 V DC. The maximum output current loading is 3 A. The output voltage and output current are controlled by means of a microprocessor.
Methods for texture analysis in ophthalmologic images
Hanyášová, Lucie ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This thesis is focused on texture analysis methods. The project contains an overview of widely used methods. The main aim of the thesis is to develop a method for texture analysis of retinal images, which will be used for distinction of two patient groups, one with glaucoma eyes and one healthy. It is observed that glaucoma patients don´t have a texture on the eye ground. Preprocessing of the images is found by transfer of the image to different color spaces to achieve the best emphasis of the eye ground texture. Co-occurrence matrix is chosen for texture analysis of this data. The thesis contains detail description of the chosen solutions and feature discussion and the result is a list of features, which can be used for distinction between glaucoma and healthy eyes. The method is implemented in Matlab environment.
Smart metering
Lahodný, Libor ; Hrabina, Jan (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
Semester paper describes the design of smart sockets and their management. Sockets are wirelessly controlled by a central unit. The socket has an integrated sensor, designed to measure current consumption of the device. If necessary, it can remotely disconnect the unit plugged in socket from AC network. Work includes analysis of individual system elements, design of electrical schematics and PCB. In the construction is included ethernet module, which is used to display data using a computer.. The device has been constructed and tested.
Level indikator with wireless communication
Smatana, Tomáš ; Friedl, Martin (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and realization of a device that is used for wireless measurement and control of liquid level. The first section explains the different options for level measurement, different implementation of wireless communication and describes the basic features of the Atmel AVR microcontrollers. Based on this analysis, appropriate solutions are selected sensors and wireless modules suitable for the design of the device. The second part is the design of a device which is subsequently implemented.
Atmospheric correction unit for the laser interferometer
Kučera, Stanislav ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This work deals with design, realization and testing the device for suppression the effect of the fluctuation of the atmospheric conditions on the laser interferometer measurement. Parasitic and randomly changes of atmospheric conditions – temperature, pressure, relative humidity and chemical composition of the air changes his refractive index, then wavelength of the laser light in this environment. Physical properties of air are measured by ultraprecision sensors. The actual wavelength is periodically calculated from Edlén formula. The device is processing the quadrature output signals from receiver of the homodyne interferometer include the atmospheric correction in real time. The device is equipped with interface to data acquisition into the personal computer.
The suppresion of mechanical stress impacts in fiber optic transmission systems
Pavlů, Michal ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Drexler, Petr (advisor)
This bachelors project deals with the suppresion of mechanical stress impacts in fiber optic transmission systems. Factors that have major influence on the polarization state distortion in optical fiber are discussed. It has been propřed the utilization of orthoconjugate retroreflector (OKR) for the compensation of polarization state degeneration. The theoretical analysis of this method is performed. The OKR method has been experimentally verified in the fiber optic current sensor. On the basis of results which were obtained by experimental verification the experimental results show evidence konvenience of the designed method.
