This thesis describes the theory of solder joint and conditions under which it is formed correctly. Further, methods of hand soldering are discussed, and possibilities of temperature regulation of soldering tip are analyzed. Methods of creating a soldering station and its key features are depicted. In practical part, the solution of how to create a soldering station with soldering iron, desolder gun and heatgun is given and is constructed. While testing a defect is found that prevents the power portion of soldering station to function properly and prevents completion.

This document describes a device capable to determine geographical position thanks to its GNSS module and measure the change of movement with the help of an accelerometer and gyroscope. Outputs of these integrated circuits are combined, data are processed and fused thanks to a numerical integration and mathematical filters. Results are stored on a memory card. The whole development is described from a concept, through the making of the device and software algorithms to the testing of its functions.

Assembling and creating tasks for an interactive robotic head

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the creation of the model of an interactive robotic head. The work itself is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is devoted to an overview of the types of robotic heads, a brief description of the available tools for recognizing objects in the image and tools for recognizing spoken speech in real time. The practical part is focused on the tools used in programming of this model, the electronics used and the resulting model of the robotic head. Finally, there are described programmed functions enabling various ways of the interaction with humans. The work includes function scripts programmed in Python.

Compensation of distortions caused by movements of objects scanned by a line scan camera

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na kompenzaci zkreslení v datech ještěrek získaných pomocí řádkové skenovací kamery (LSC), která snímá ultrafialové (UV) vlnové délky. Dýchací pohyby během skenování způsobují zkreslení šířky trupu ještěrky, což ovlivňuje konečný snímek LSC. Práce navrhuje metody zpracování obrazu pro úpravu těchto zkreslení, včetně extrakce kontur, interpolace a vyhodnocení pomocí referenčního snímku. Metodika má za cíl minimalizovat rozdíl mezi upraveným LSC snímkem a referenčním snímkem.

This master's thesis deals with the design and implementation of a web platform for sharing digital cultural objects while using the augmented reality. The first part of the thesis presents a list of existing applications dealing with a similar topic. Subsequently, the intended functions of the application and scenarios of its use are defined. Then the set of technologies is introduced and the system architecture is described. At the end of the work, implementation of the application is explained.

STM study of adsorption and mobility of phtalocyanine molecules on passivated silicon surfaces at lower temperatures

The thesis deals with an experiment for studying adsorption of phthalocyanin molecules on silicon surface passivated by a tin reconstruction. The main technique used for imaging surface is scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). The work contains a brief introduction to the studied problem. It deals with the STM method and STM construction. The used ultra-vacuum experimental system is characterized together with particular steps at sample preparation for STM measurements. During the sample preparation all necessary operations were tested on the newly modified system and calibration measurements of sample annealing and tin deposition were performed. A structure of the prepared surface Si(111) 7×7 was investigated by STM and conditions for the preparation in the new system were specified. STM images were used for an evaluation of results at optimizing preparation of the passivated surface. Obtained results are important for further experiments in frame of a research focused on growing molecular structures on silicon surfaces.
