Animotherapy for children and adolescents with combined disabilities

1 Summary This bachelor's thesis deals with the question of whether animotherapy is a beneficial and meaningful part of comprehensive rehabilitation care for children and adolescents with combined disabilities. The goal was to evaluate whether this method contributes to the fulfillment of the set therapeutic goals. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the basic principles, ideas and approaches of zootherapy, its basic division and how the individual methods developed and what their uses are. Furthermore, this section outlines the issue of combined disability and mentions some studies dealing with similar issues. The research and practical part of the work was created in the Zahrada Integration Center with the participation of the entire multidisciplinary team in cooperation with the families of the participating children. Data collection took place in the form of a questionnaire and a recording of a kinesiological examination, then the evaluation was carried out using the Goal Attainment Scale method. From the evaluation of the results in the individual areas, it is therefore possible to state that in the motor area the condition improved in almost 2/3 of the cases and the condition did not deteriorate even once. Corporate Culture in the Chosen Company

The aim of the thesis, which is named Corporate Culture in the Chosen Company, is to characterize a corporate culture with the help of specification of its crucial cultural dimensions and the consequent proposals of a suitable action to improve the corporate culture. Thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part explains terms corporate culture, typology of corporate culture, cultural dimension, knowledge economy etc. In the practical part there are surveys via questionnaires VSM 1994 & 2013, non-standardized interview and personal observation. In the conclusion, there are suggestions to improve corporate culture.
A teacher's vocational load in variant cultures

This thesis is dealing with workload that teachers face in their profession, and focuses on secondary school teachers in the Czech Republic and New Zealand. The theoretical part presents topics of secondary school, culture, load and teacher workload based on available scientific Czech and foreign sources. This part discusses both theoretical principles and research done in these fields. The empirical part proposes a research project on appreciation of secondary school teachers in the Czech Republic and New Zealand. This project focuses on appreciation by students' parents and therefore seeks to explore one of the factors responsible for teacher workload. The aim of this thesis is to present the issue of teacher vocational load (or workload) and to offer an intercultural perspective that could be useful in this field. Polyamorous Identity: Biographies of Polyamours People

The bachelor's thesis deals with a new social phenomenon polyamory, an alternative form of a relationship, in which individuals have more relationships at the same time. The biographic study focuses on polyamory identity construction within biographic interview with participating individuals in the Czech Republic. The objective of the thesis is to present how polyamory is perceived by those who practice it in the society and culture where monogamous relationship is a standard. Based on the analysis, common features of polyamorists' biographies are presented (previous non-monogamous relationships, motives, rules). Polyamory in the present thesis is interpreted by Anthony Giddens's theoretical concept of pure relationship, too. The key part of the paper focuses on application of R. Sternberg's triangular love theory applied to polyamory and components form of passion intimacy and commitment in polyamory respondents' relationships. The thesis encompasses competence model proposal for polyamorists based on the final hypothesis which avers that polyamory is a skill/ability.
Free Time and Educational Activities in Home for the Elderly in a Small Town.

4 Abstract The aim of the diploma thesis will be to analyze leisure and educational activities in homes for the elderly in a small town. The work will introduce the issue of old age in terms of biological, social and psychological aspects, along with leisure activities and motivation to educate seniors. The work will further define the basic division of residential facilities for the elderly and the possibilities of educational activities in these facilities in a small town. The aim of the empirical qualitative survey will be to find out the specific possibilities and the degree of satisfaction of seniors with the offer of leisure and educational activities in homes for the elderly in a small town. The survey will be carried out with the help of structured interviews with seniors, employees and with the management of two different homes and will find out the possibilities and the degree of satisfaction with leisure and educational activities. Politeness in the Czech Republic - Thanking and Accepting Thanks

This work deals with politeness, politeness strategies and thanking and accepting thanks in the Czech Republic. At first, the thesis processes the issue from a theoretical point of view, there are presented the findings and theories of Czech and foreign linguists, who are interested in politeness and communication, several approaches toward polite or impolite behaviour. I describe in detail thanking and responses to thanks, expressions of gratitude and ingratitude; there are presented the topics, which directly relate to the issue, too. The practical part deals with the research of supposed responses of respondents - thanking and accepting thanks - in specific situations. The task isn't to research the using of speech, but the utterance considered as polite and suitable in the situation. I chose the questionnaire with 5 open questions, where respondents were asked to write the answer according to their experience. The research was oriented on respondents of both sexes between the ages of 14 to 42 years. The results are given in real numbers (firstly both sexes together and then separately). Research of customer satisfaction in comunity housing services and social services

Key words mental disability, social work services, social care, transformation, basic human needs, case study, interview Abstract The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to compare the types of social residential services, to find out where and under what conditions the basic human needs of clients with mental disabilities are met. In the first chapter, it was crucial to define the concept of mental disability, how mental disability is diagnosed and what basic human needs people with mental disabilities have. It was also important to state which social services clients with mental disabilities use or can use and how is the quality of these services determined. Furthermore, the definition of the care allowance and social benefits of material need and under what conditions the client is entitled to them. In the third and last chapter of the theoretical part, it was necessary to define the concept of transformation of social services and its obstacles. In the fourth chapter it was necessary to determine the importance of the methods used for this thesis. Subsequently, a presentation of the organizations where the survey took place. This was followed by non-structured interviews with two employees of designated social services and a case report of four clients of social services.
Assessment of the Economic Situation in the Corporation, Proposals and Recommendations for its Improvement

The external and internal structure is gradually analyzed. The result of the thesis is the identification of suggestions and recommendations for improvement of the state.
