Multidisciplinary team and care of patients with Parkinson's disease
Svobodová, Martina ; Vrzáček, Petr (advisor) ; Lejsal, Matěj (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to map the needs of social service clients with Parkinson's disease. Based on the needs, the goal of the work is to design a multidisciplinary team, its composition and functioning. In the theoretical part, I deal with Parkinson's disease as such, diagnosis, course, treatment and its side effects. I am also involved in social services, especially those that specifically focus on clients with Parkinson's. This part concludes with chapters on participation and empowerment, patient organizations and the multidisciplinary team as such. The third part deals with the methodology of the research. I used combined research, specifically interviews, field research and a questionnaire. I describe here the data analysis and ethical aspects of the research. The results of the research show that a multidisciplinary team is a suitable variant of care to fulfill some of the clients' needs. Here, I observe where the view of the client himself and the caregivers on the client's needs differ from each other and where they are in harmony. Based on the research, I subsequently propose the composition of a multidisciplinary team and model its functioning. In the discussion, I try to look critically at my work and also to confront it with other works that focus on a similar topic. The conclusion...

The practical part evaluates the factors that affect the customer's behavior when buying online supplies for pets in selected e-shops, and also evaluates selected indicators of financial analysis of the examined e-shops. From the obtained results, their strategic position was determined. At the end of the diploma thesis, based on factors influencing customer behavior and financial analysis indicators, recommendations for improving the current situation of companies are given.
The effect of polymorphism of some enzymes on fatty acid composition in cow´s milk fat
SVOBODOVÁ, Martina
The aim of the diploma thesis was to determine the genotypes of polymorphic variants of some candidate loci in the AGPAT6 and LEP genes and to evaluate the influence of these polymorphic variants on milk yield and milk fatty acid proportions. Genotypic and allele frequencies of AGPAT6 and LEP were determined in dairy cows (n = 400) of the Czech Fleckvieh breed and its crossbreeds. The PCR / RFLP genotyping method was used. The results showed that the CT (AGPAT6) and MM (LEP) genotypes predominated in the population. The influence of AGPAT6 and LEP polymorphisms on milk yield indicators for the 1st and 2nd lactation could not be demonstrated. The influence of the AGPAT6 genotype on the representation of some short-chain fatty acids has been demonstrated. The effect of the LEP genotype on fatty acid proportions has not been demonstrated. The results of this work make it possible to obtain a more favorable composition of milk fat with respect to human health.
Correlation of changes in mycorrhizal community and diversity of rare species on abandoned fields
Svobodová, Martina ; Münzbergová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Frouz, Jan (referee)
Economic and social changes of the last 20 years have led to many places to leave a large number of agricultural fields. At present, the efforts to restore species-rich grassland communities in these abandoned agricultural fields. Abandoned fields are seen as potential habitat for endangered species of semi-natural dry grasslands. Currently, a large effort to restore them back to the species-rich dry grasslands. Due to the long-term agricultural practices degrade soil communities and thereby lose their original function in abandoned fields. For the restoration of agricultural areas under cultivation back to the species-rich dry grasslands appear to be a key factor in arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal communities. The negative effect of agricultural practices on AMF communities has serious implications for the diversity and structure of plant communities of abandoned fields. Therefore, the aim of this work understanding the importance of AM fungi for possible restoration of plant communities on abandoned agricultural fields. In this paper we compare two different types of inoculum (grassland, fallow land ) to support the survival and growth of target plant species of dry grasslands on a abandoned field two approaches - sowing and planting. We assumed that the inoculum of species-rich dry grasslands...
Mechanism of cancerogenic effect of nitroaromates pollutants in present environment
Čechová, Tereza ; Stiborová, Marie (advisor) ; Svobodová, Martina (referee)
Nitroaromatic compounds are mutagenic and carcinogenic substances present in all environmental compartments. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons react with nitrogen oxides to form nitroaromatics under the conditions that might be expected in polluted air and in combustion processes (fossil fuel combustion, waste heat recovery, metal processing, etc.). Most of nitroaromatic compounds are potent mutagens in bacterial and mammalian systems. They are also carcinogens causing cancer, primarily in the liver, lungs and mammary glands. Nitrobenzanthrones (NBA) are nitroaromatic compounds which were recently found in environmental compartments, especially in the air. 3-Nitrobenzanthrone (3-NBA, 3-nitro-7H-benz [de] anthracene-7-one) is one of the polycyclic aromatic nitro compounds with high toxic effects. 3-NBA is present in environmental pollution, in diesel exhaust and was also detected in soil and in rain water. Bachelor's thesis describes the metabolism of this substance and it also studies its mutagenic and carcinogenic effects. This work also compares the mutagenic and carcinogenic effects of 3-NBA and its derivative, isomer 2-nitrobenzanthrone (2-NBA, 2-nitro-7H-benz [de] anthracene-7-one), which also occurs as a pollutant in air. The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the criteria of the school class climate quality, to deal with the role of the primary school teacher as a co-creator of the climate, with the requirements that are laid on the teacher and the required proffesional competences. The thesis also deals with analysis of the conditions that create the school climate from the pupils' point of view - especially the development compliance that originates from the dependence on the class composition. Another aim of the thesis is to describe issue of newly-made casses on the grounds of created relationships between the pupils both during and outside the lessons. The methods of educational survey and educational-psychological diagnosis were used.
Flexible forms of work in the labour market of the Czech Republic. The case study of the function of offer and demand in the company
Svobodová, Martina ; Kuchař, Pavel (advisor) ; Tuček, Milan (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with flexible forms of work in the Czech Republic. After the short introduction of the history and theoretical frameworks, particular types of alternative work forms used in the Czech labour market are presented. Readers are faced with part-time jobs, flexible work hours, home office and other. Special part is dedicated to occupying of part-time workers who are employed in the mode of Contract of Services, which is specific for Czech labour market and is involved in flexible work forms in this text. The great part of this thesis occupies case study, which was held at headquarters of one Czech company and which provides view of function of flexible forms of work on the side of the employer and employees as well. Data analysis offers mainly information coming from perception of alternative working forms by their users, which means employees, but by provider as well. Emphasis is placed primarily on evaluation of motives which lead into implementing and demanding of flexible work forms and also their advantages and disadvantages. Readers can find in analytic part also profiling of group of employees working in alternative working modes. These profiles are built-up from the view of the character of employees positions and from their individual characteristics as well. It is also...

Svobodová, Martina ; Stiborová, Marie (advisor) ; Entlicher, Gustav (referee) ; Souček, Pavel (referee)
CHARLES UNIVERSITY IN PRAGUE FACULTY OF SCIENCE DEPARTMENT OF BIOCHEMISTRY Metabolism of carcinogenic o-nitroanisole, its metabolite o-nitrophenol and environmental pollutants 2-nitrobenzanthrone and 3-nitrobenzanthrone Summary of PhD Thesis RNDr. Martina Svobodová Supervisor: Prof. RNDr. Marie Stiborová, DrSc. Prague 2010 RNDr. Martina Svobodová Introduction -1- INTRODUCTION 2-Nitroanisole 2-Nitroanisole (2-methoxynitrobenzene, 2-NA, figure 1) is an important industrial pollutant and a strong carcinogen for rodents causing neoplastic transformation in the urinary bladder and, to a lesser extent, in the spleen, liver and kidney [19, 30, 31] . 2-NA is also a toxic compound, causing anemia. 2-NA is used primarily as a precursor in the synthesis of o-anisidine (2-methoxyaniline), which is an intermediate in the production of many azo dyes. This compound is used in pharmaceutical industry as an intermediate in the synthesis of some medicaments [30, 31] . In spite of potent rodent carcinogenicity of 2-NA, this chemical is weakly mutagenic in the Ames test with the Salmonella typhimurium. This carcinogen also exhibits a low activity in cytogenetic tests. It induces a slight increase in chromosomal aberration and in sister chromatid exchanges, but only at high concentrations [31] . 2-nitroanisole may be...
