Cluster analysis of final thesis dealing with the term competence
Svobodová, Kateřina ; Trojan, Václav (advisor) ; Voda, Jan (referee)
7 ABSTRACT: This thesis analyzes the final thesis, bachelor's and master's ones defended at The School Management Centre Department of the Education Faculty of Charles University in Prague for the period from 2010 until 2012. This thesis deals with cluster analysis theses dealing with the term competence, particularly in the area of school leadership, that leaders and managers of schools. Theses researches of adequate extent i.e. eight bachelor's and three master's theses, will also focus on competence in the field of personnel management at schools. A qualitative method will be used for the thesis work, which will be conducted content analysis of the text and its interpretation, whose main tool is an effective methodological comparison. It is necessary to observe the principle of objectivity. The final theses will not be evaluated otherwise objectively compared. The thesis work is indicating any differences between claims that have not been investigated. The comparison will focus on the tools to determine ways of grasping the subject, the author styles, etc. The resulting model presents a comparison of research expertise of final university thesis dealing with common theme competence in the field of school leadership, summary knowledge of the topic. KEYWORDS: Competence, competency model, management,...
Media representation of Czech nobility in the context of restitution claims
Svobodová, Kateřina ; Reifová, Irena (advisor) ; Jirsová, Pavlína (referee)
The question of integration of nobility into the larger society has come to light over the last 15 years when representatives of Czech nobility addressed public attention concerning restitution claims. As a research shows, the attitude of Czech society towards nobility carries xenophobic features. [CYYM]. In today's society, for many participants media is often the only source of information about certain people or events. Representatives of noble class are among those "unknown quantities" because the majority of the Czech population usually has only superficial personal experience with their lifestyles, standards and values of nobility. These are the exact cases where the media may acquire the potential to infl uence the attitude of the public. The aim of the thesis was to identify how Czech media covers the noble class in the context of their restitution claims and whetherthey confirm or deny existing stereotypesand prejudice. For historic reasons opinion of nobility within Czech society is rather negative. Media has the power to change this by representing nobility as people who are responsible for their property, carry certain moral values, and respect their family and traditions. However, media tend to reflect the opinions dominated in larger society. In this way publishers are in the business of...
The origin and the development of representation of Buddha and bodhisattva in the Gandhāran art
Svobodová, Kateřina ; Stančo, Ladislav (advisor) ; Bouzek, Jan (referee)
This diploma thesis concerns the iconography of early Buddhist art in India, especially in the region of ancient Gandhāra. It follows the development of representation of Buddha and bodhisattva from an aniconic type to establishment of anthropomorphous form during the reign of the Kushaṇas. It outlines the influence of the Hellenistic world on this form and tries to give a summary about the mixture of the symbolic and stylistic patterns as well as their further development in the later Buddhist art.
Self-development tools in the context of personnel management
Svobodová, Kateřina ; Tureckiová, Michaela (advisor) ; Trojanová, Irena (referee)
The final diploma thesis of Pedagogy Specialization studing programme, Education Management studing field deals with a Self-development issue and its tools in the context of personnel management. This thesis examines the applicability possibilities of individual tools, methods and techniques used as a standard in personnel management as another possible tool of self-development. The aim of this thesis is a self-development evaluation mean by managerial work in the context of personnel management, including the applicability of self-development in the form of personnel management tool itself and the subsequent of company development. There are real examples of self-development possible tools across scientific disciplines In the practical part. The work presents the introspection results leading to an active self-development and provides concrete examples of patterns handling with self-development tools. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Circumcision in Indonesian archipelago from an anthropological perspective
Svobodová, Kateřina ; Pokorný, Ondřej (advisor) ; Petrů, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to introduce phenomena of woman and man circumcision in historical and culture context in Indonesian archipelago. First part is about theoretical perception of circumcision. I will focus mostly on typology, history and geography. Second part will be about circumcision in Indonesia. Firstly I will concentrate on history of circumcision in the archipelago, which is known due to notes of Europe missioners during colonialist period. Then I will describe the most important reasons, which are religion and initiation. After that I will target on circumcision in present Indonesia and on social and culture impact caused by this practice. Last, but not least I will describe selected ethnics which still practice man circumcision.
Determination of vitamin B12 by flow analysis with chemiluminiscent detection
Svobodová, Kateřina ; Hraníček, Jakub (advisor) ; Rychlovský, Petr (referee)
This thesis reports determination of vitamin B12 by flow techniques of analysis. This method is based on luminol-peroxide chemiluminiscence assay for the detection of cobalt (II) ions in vitamin B12 molecules. The method includes releasing of Co2+ from the vitamin B12 using different types of its decomposition; these are mentioned in this thesis. The efficiency of the decomposition of real samples of vitamin B12 in this study reached 74.43 %. The high efficiency was achieved with 1.5 mmol.l-1 K2S2O8 and irradiation time 1 minute. In the FIA mode, the linear range obtained was between 1.0 to 500 mg.l-1 with a relative standard deviation (RSD) 2.59% (n = 10), limit of detection (LOD) 55 µg.l-1 . The minimum sample volume required and the time of analysis were 60 µl and 140.2 s. In the SIA mode, the linear range obtained was between 0.01 to 50 mg.l-1 with an RSD = 4.5% (n = 10), LOD = 25 µg.l-1 . The minimum sample volume required and the time of analysis were 250 µl and 80.1 s. Interference study showed that from wide range of interfering ions were selected only Ni2+ , Zn2+ and NO2 - , that from concentration level 50 mg.l-1 they significantly affect the determination of the Co2+ in solution. The intensity of chemiluminiscence most suppress ion Zn2+ . The solution with the concentration ratio of Co2+...
The relation between microbial diversity and biodegradation of organic pollutants in soils
Adámek, Michael ; Svobodová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Matyska Lišková, Petra (referee)
This work sums up the knowledge of the currently studied microorganisms capable of degradation of organic compounds contaminating soil and of the impact of biodiversity on biodegradation efficiency. As documented in many studies effective soil remediation can be achieved by mixed-species consortia isolated from polluted soils. However, use of these cultures for bioaugumentation requires further research on their influence on the biodiversity of autochthonic soil microflora. Though bioaugumentation provably affects bioremediation effectivity no ideal carrier for microbes has been found yet that would provide survival of the introduced organisms in the competitive soil environment. Next, selection of suitable bioaugumentation agents should be based on previous analyses of autochthonic microbes in the targeted contaminated soils. Further, this work shows that the presence of key species might be more important for the biodegradation efficiency than biodiversity of soil microflora. Biodiversity is more related to the functionality of soil ecosystems which can be affected by the presence of contaminants leading to positive selection of taxa capable of pollutant degradation. However, there are just a few studies on the relationship between biodiversity and degradation of pollutants. Its further research...
