Traditionally, medieval cuisine belongs to the realm of historical or cultural anthropology, as the diet reflects the customs of different social classes, ethnic groups and religious regulations (fasting, kosher meals). Meals are part of ritual and change according to economic and social change. The present work deals in a somewhat unconventional way with the question of how period cuisine is cooked today. The increased interest in research on medieval everyday life and courtly society in the last two decades has expanded the level of knowledge of life at the time and made this information available to those interested in history from the general public. Few things are more everyday than the preparation and consumption of food. Yet today, as centuries ago, something as ordinary as cooking seems to have been pushed out of the main field of vision, off the stage on which history is performed. Or is it otherwise? Period cuisine is something more, it brings to life the roots of our eating habits, our culture, and then as now, the communal meal is the cement of the social group. The diploma thesis focuses on contracting process in company practice. The main aim of the thesis is to propose recommendations for optimizing the process of contracting in particular company practice, when the first step is to perform analysis of contracting process. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is dedicated to literature research concentrating on changes in contract law after the recodification of private law in the Czech Republic and contract for work. The second part deals with analysis of contracting process and contract for work in company practice, consequently identifying their deficiencies and proposing steps to avoid the negative impact to contract sides. Found deficiencies, including recommendations for improvement are summarized at the end.
Implementation of management 2.0 principles in Czech businesses

This Master´s thesis entitled Implementation of management 2.0 principles in Czech businesses focuses on innovative ways of managing companies and their employees. The aim of the work is to evaluate based on qualitative research to what extent and in what form are management 2.0 principles pursued in the Czech business environment. The theoretical part contains definitions of basic management concepts, reasons of management model innovation and description of management practices used in both traditional and alternative management. Based on academic literature, the theoretical part prepares the ground for practical work. The practical part is in addition to the analysis of available information based primarily on interviews with managers and employees of Czech companies that are outwardly practicing various approaches to management 2.0. The work is beneficial especially to business executives and management students, who can deepen their knowledge about management trends in the 21st century. The thesis can serve to future job applicants as a source of valuable information on innovative employers on the Czech market.

The influence of targeted treatment on stereognosis and somatognosis in patients with chronic vertebrogenic algic syndrome

This diploma thesis called "The impact of individual physiotherapy on stereognosis and somatognosis in patients with chronic back pain" contains basic knowledge about stereognostic and somatognostic function, it summarizes significant information about pain and the development of its chronic form, and last but not least it states possible causes of back pain disorders and its functional factors. One special part of the thesis describes non-standardized tests used to examine 21 probands who had been diagnosed chronic back pain and particularly it compares the results of these two examinations, the first of which was carried out before the beginning of physiotherapy and the second one carried out after 14 days of physiotherapeutic treatment. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the impact of physiotherapy on stereognosis and somatognosis of patients with chronic back pain. All types of medical examination were tested without visual check. As a part of the medical examination a short form of McGill ́s questionnaire and a visual analogue scale indicating the intensity of pain were to be filled in by the probands to explicate their subjective feelings. Task objectives: The objective of our research was to discover serious offences against ethics, which relate with judging human body and body importance for achievements and success of a human. We also want to inform about willingness to use illegal dietary supplements to increase body condition of men and present population's interest to use services in the field of cosmetics, plastic surgery, exercising programs and nonorganized body care. Method: Using questionnaires we have analysed two hundred fitness center visitors. The group consisted of hundred women and hundred men. 11 Results: There are more women than men unhappy with their weight and figure. Almost the same percentage of women and men focuses on exercising the problematic body areas. The non-professional sportsmen are also willing to take anabolics.
