Reorganization under insolvency law
Svoboda, Štěpán ; Smolík, Petr (advisor) ; Winterová, Alena (referee)
Reorganization under insolvency law Abstract The goal of this diploma thesis "Reorganization under insolvency law" is to provide coherent description of the most important legal institutes of reorganization, which is non-liquidation form of solution of bankruptcy and analysis of these institutes. Reorganization is regulated by the Act. No. 182/2006 Coll, on insolvency and modes of its solutions. The thesis is divided into two parts that are further divided into chapters and subchapters. The first part describes institutes of insolvency proceedings that are common to all forms of solution of bankruptcy with focus on reorganization. This part is divided into five chapters that describe initiation of insolvency proceedings, bankruptcy, content and essentials of motion on insolvency, effects of initiating insolvency proceedings and consideration of motion on insolvency and court decision about it. The second part contains analysis of the reorganization from its start to its end. This part is divided into eight chapters which explain institutes of reorganization in detail. First and second chapter provide a definition of the reorganization and admissibility of reorganization as defined by law. Third and fourth chapter describe motion on permission of reorganization and the method of its approving by creditors...

Short-term electricity price forecasting - evaluation of selected hybrid models
Svoboda, Štěpán ; Krištoufek, Ladislav (advisor) ; Jonášová, Júlia (referee)
In this thesis a thorough study of the previous literature and the division and special aspects of EPF was carried out. Then the evaluation and comparison of several models was done - the ARIMA, SVR, SVRARIMA and PSF model. This comparison was done on the intra-day Nord Pool market, which is quite unique as almost all short-term EPF is carried out on the day-ahead market. Our results are robust as the modeling was done on 100 test periods and we have tested the difference in predictive accuracy using the modified DM test. Our conclusion is the PSF model is inadequate in our intra-day set- ting and the overall ARIMA model seems to outperform the SVR and SVRARIMA model somewhat. The dominance of ARIMA is not very strong and a further investigation of the causes of these results can better illuminate the strengths and weaknesses of these models.
Investigation of anizotropic magnetorezistence of ferromagnetic semiconductor GaMnAs
Kašpar, Zdeněk ; Němec, Petr (advisor) ; Svoboda, Štěpán (referee)
This thesis is devoted to the measurement of the anisotropic magnetoresistance (AMR) on a series of samples that were prepared by the molecular beam epitaxy (MBE). The measurements were taken during a rotation of a magnetic field in the sample plane using a vector magnet in a cryostat, which allows to change the working temperature from 1.5 to 300 Kelvin. The dependences of anisotropic magnetotransport parameters on the Mn concentration were evaluated from the measured data. Moreover, the temperature dependence of these parameters was also studied. Identification of experimental artifact in the measured data enabled us to reveal a significant influence of the hysteresis of the magnets on the measurements. Finally, by measuring in weak magnetic fields we studied the magnetic anisotropy of the samples. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Application of Online Marketing Tools for the Strengthening of Company Competitiveness
Keprdová, Šárka ; Svoboda, Štěpán (referee) ; Zich, Robert (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on strengthening the company’s competitiveness through the use of online marketing tools. On the basis of theoretical knowledge from specialized literature and analysis of the company’s current state, proposals contributing to the brand’s promotion with the help of selected online marketing tools (SEO, PPC, social networks) are developed.
Replacement of human bones by synthetic materials using 3D printing
Svoboda, Štěpán ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first section summarizes the theory of the issue. Here we are unified theoretical information about the various possibilities of different approaches. The result of this part is therefore a general summary of theoretical possible procedures of creation bone implant, where each are listed the advantages and disadvantages. The theoretical part also contains information that ultimately, in practice, the author did not use. But his idea was to create a comprehensive look at the issue from several angles. The second part uses theoretical knowledge from the previous set of information as a basis for defining the steps required to successfully manage the issues of bone 3D printing. The third part will follow the guidelines of both previous and focuses on practical making bones and subsequent evaluation method chosen. There are discussed various steps that led to the final conclusion, making bones and work is then focused on the evaluation of the success of selected procedures and recommendations for future action.
Liberalisation of postal services under the European and Czech law
Svoboda, Štěpán ; Tichý, Luboš (advisor) ; Pomahač, Richard (referee) ; Bejček, Josef (referee)
(en) Stepan Svoboda - Liberalization of postal services under the European and Czech law This disertation is an updated analysis of the current liberalisation processes in the European Union and in the Czech Republic. It consists of 9 parts. In the introductory parts the author describes the role of the application of the article 106 TFEU in conjunction with the article 14. He shows that the application of the article 106 constitutes the primary authorisation for the liberalisation (not only) postal services. Furthermore he analyses the basic requirements for the application of the article 106(1) and its exception as provided for in the article 106(2) TFEU. In the chapter 2 the author is focused on the general scheme of the liberalisation process and its risks arising from the behaviour of the incumbent as well as the new entrants on the postal market. The introductory framework is completed by the economic analysis of the behaviour of the postal monopoly and its (in) efficiencies compared to the structure of the competitive markets. In the main part of the thesis the author is dealing with the analysis of the services of general interest, general economic interest and the universal services in which the basic concept of the gradual liberalisation of the network industries must be seen. By means of...
Analýza bezpečnostních rizik při zpracování elektrárenských radioaktivních kalů do nízkoteplotních matric
Svoboda, Štěpán
The aim of thesis is identification, risk analysis and and following design of technical modification and procedures on field of the low-level mixed wastes treatment. In the first part of the thesis is provided short discusses repository requirements for solidificated wastes in Czech republic. Next are described methods and matrix (including short describes of further high temperatures methods) in point of view of their specifics characteristics and risks given by their. The risks are assessed in three basic categories. The first is influence to human healthy (radiation, dust, etc.). The second is the technical safety which corresponds to level of safety of machinery equipment. The third is the technological safety depending on properties of waste together with matrix. In the next part is described experimental equipment and method for risk evaluation. Sequentially is carried out risk analysis by HAZOP method applicated on proposal of machinery equipment developed for using cement matrix, together with hierarchization of identificated risks. For more serious risks are suggested measures and solutitions for minimization their impacts. In the next part are described carried out experimets and results after implementation some recommended measures.
Design modification of the collimator for RAW measuring system
Svoboda, Štěpán ; Lisý, Martin (referee) ; Šen, Hugo (advisor)
This thesis deals with structural design of collimator. Collimator is important component of radioactivity measuring device. This apparatus is made by Envinet. Collimator is part of device, which makes good conditions for measuring radioactivity, protects detector and tries avoid overload detector. In this thesis is dealt simplification of collimator. It supposed, that simplified collimator will be more reliable. This proposal saves more money, because company will not have to send employee of Envinet to service their measuring devices in a very distant countries, such as Russia, Ukraine etc.
