Project of a restaurant's marketing communication

The diploma thesis discusses a marketing communication of the restaurant "Kamera", located in Prague's district of Barrandov. Based on a thorough analysis of the current marketing communication, a new project of its improvement is proposed. The theoretical part defines the groundwork with basic terms as marketing, marketing mix, SWOT analysis, marketing communication, or marketing research. The practical part introduces the restaurant Kamera, describes the current situation and analyses its present communication. The goal of this thesis is to establish a solid analysis of a current marketing communication of a Prague's restaurant, based on a survey, observation, and interviews, and subsequently, propose a new project for improvement of said restaurant's marketing communication with both current and prospective customers.
Image of the company ABC

This diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of internal and external image of the company ABC. This firm has not wished to be specified. The main goal of this thesis was to analyze image of the company ABC operating on the logistics market in the Czech republic. This goal was fulfilled and according to the results, firm has a positive image from the employee and customer point of view. The reader can find final references in the application part of this thesis. First minor goal was to help reader to identify key points of this topic and extend his knowledge about the image of company. The reader can acquire broader information about mentioned topic in the theoretical part and following sections of this diploma thesis improve her/his ability related to the image of specific company. Second minor goal was to describe internal employee point of view and present it to the employer, company ABC. This goal was accomplished as there is a lot of important information and data included in the replies to the questionnaire. Third minor goal was to characterize Czech logistics market and define competitive companies based on the knowledge of employees and customers of the enterprise ABC. The company is considered as one of the main firms but is not the market leader. It was not possible to analyze customer point of view since the internal NPA file did not contain it or the data was incomplete. The author of this diploma thesis used own questionnaire and internal NPA file received by the company ABC to extract the results. He also used a combination of the literal transcription method and following cluster creating technique to construe the conclusions.
Communication of employment office with unemployed people

The topic of my bachelor's thesis is Communication of employment office with unemployed people. Main goal of the thesis is to find out and to describe an information service of the employment office regarding its offered services and job offers. Further there are included used ways of communication not only between employment office and unemployed people but also between employment office and employers in the thesis. The bachelor's thesis includes both theoretical and practical parts. There are described functions, problems, types and used ways of communication in the theoretical part. In addition, it is included description of differences at communication with various groups of job applicants in my thesis. Furthermore, there are described variations at communication with job applicants who lost their jobs in different periods of time. The practical part includes personal interviews with representatives of employment office of the Czech Republic and Czech Chamber of Commerce and questionnaire with unemployed people.
CSR in the Czech Republic - Case study ČSOB

This thesis deals with the topic of corporate social responsibility while drawing mainly on the political theories of CSR formation. Its theoretical part discusses CSR concept in general, depicting its contributions as well as its seaminess. Further it focuses on the application of CSR in the European and Czech context. Although a lot of companies within the Czech Republic identify themselves with the idea of CSR, ČSOB bank is one of the first ones that applied CSR strategically and is considered as one of the leaders in the field. Case study in the empirical part of the thesis examines specific comprehension of CSR in ČSOB and asses it. In the very end CSR in ČSOB is being confronted with the context of CSR in Czech bank sector.
Communication in organization

This master thesis is dealing with the internal communication issue and the practical use of the theoretical knowledge in an analysis. The main aim of the thesis is to provide the analysis on a concrete corporation and to identify the main difficulties in the transmission of information. Theoretical part clarifies the elementary vocabulary and characterizes the communication in general. It identifies the aims, functions as well as the types of the internal communication as a part of the communication in an organization. There is the definition of effective communication and possible communication obstacles determined. The theoretical base is followed by practical part, where analysis on the specific company is provided. The two techniques were used for the purpose of analysis, the observation method and questionnaires, which complete information obtained from the first method used and confirm the results or otherwise.
Internal communication in organization

This thesis analyzes the internal communication in a particular organization. Its aim is to describe the various communication channels and their resources, analyze their usage and propose solutions for improving the situation in identified problem areas. The object of this work is a small company operating in the service sector. We use methods of semi structured interviews and analysis of internal documents. The conclusion highlights the positive aspects of internal communication in the company, identifies problem areas and proposes solutions to improve the current situation.
Corporate identity and image of non-profit organization

The essence of this Master thesis is the analysis of corporate identity and image in the selected part of non-profit organization. Furthermore, this analysis will provide valuable information about how it tries to be perceived and how it is perceived in reality. The theoretical part explains terms related to the topic, mainly focuses on corporate identity and its three components, as well as on essence and importance of the corporate image. Then briefly describes the issue of non-profit organization. The methodical part defines the objectives, methods and respondents of the thesis. The practical part is based on theoretical knowledge of the first part. First is presented selected non-profit organization and its part, which is the subject of research. The subsequent own research is divided into two parts, the analysis of identity by using the qualitative research in the form of individual interviews and the analysis of image by using the quantitative research in the form of questionnaire survey. The thesis is concluded by suggestion and recommendations for the non-profit organization.
Intercultural differences in working team

This master thesis focuses on the intercultural differences in a team. The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate on the example of Siemens Ltd, how the intercultural differences affect on the working environment, and whether they provoke any kind of conflicts or not. Furthermore, the aim of the following thesis is to provide the recommendations on the improvement of effective collaboration within the team. There were used mainly Hofstede dimensions, which described the various cultures of the team members. A research for the practical part has been done within a multicultural team, which is composed of twenty members. For the research were used a structured questionnaire method and personal interview with a team manager.
The Influence of Job Satisfaction on Employee Turnover

This Master's Thesis deals with the topics of employee turnover and job satisfaction, more precisely with the way in which job satisfaction can influence employee turnover in a company. The goal of the Thesis is to design a way to analyse job satisfaction in an organization and determine the way in which job satisfaction influences the turnover potential of current employees. The Thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter is a literary research that deals with topics of employee turnover, job satisfaction and the relationship between the two. The second chapter describes the environment in which the data for empirical research was collected, the tools used for data collection and summarizes hypotheses and goals for the empirical part. The final chapter presents the results of the research, evaluation of the problematic areas in the organization and author's recommendations for addressing the discovered shortcomings in the future.
Employee satisfaction and suggestions for identified problems

This thesis deals with the analysis of the employee's job satisfaction in company XY. The first, theoretical part clarifies the basic terms related to the job satisfaction. These will be the basis for the analysis. First part is followed by practical section which deals with job satisfaction analysis. The main source of information for the analysis are questionnaires collected from employees. The main objective of this thesis is to identify problematic topics and suggest actions that could lead to increase in job satisfaction level.
