Stochastic Optimization Models in Energy Industry
Studený, Vojtěch ; Cabalka, Matouš (referee) ; Popela, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis addresses the modeling of electricity production from rooftop photovoltaic power plants. The aim of the work was to find out how the input parameters affect the return and to find out the optimal conditions for achieving the shortest return time. The model is created in Microsoft Excel and GAMS. The inputs include the current conditions of the New Green Savings grant program. The work separately examines systems without energy storage and systems with batteries. Both systems are optimized and then the change in return depending on random variables is determined. The results show a lower payback period for battery systems, while meeting the subsidy conditions at the same time with lower acquisition costs.
Potential of thermal utilization of waste in the Czech Republic
Studený, Vojtěch ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is discussing the potential of energy use of waste in the Czech republic. First part is describing the current ways of dealing with the waste. The thesis includes description of each procedure and its positive and negative aspects. The next part is dedicated to methods of technical use. Then there are described the basics of heating industry and effect thermal use on the environment. The last part is dealing with theoretical idea of energetic complex for energetic use of waste. The idea itself is based on calculations of the potential of energy in the waste.
Biomass gasification model
Studený, Vojtěch ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Milčák, Pavel (advisor)
Mathematical models of gasification are suitable for predicting gas composition and its properties. The aim of the diploma thesis is to compile a mathematical model for biomass gasification. The first part deals with the description of gasification and the technologies used. Theoretical part consists of the search of modeling methods. Other theoretical part is devoted to the description of the model and equations presented in the thesis. Part of the assignment is a parametric study that shows changes in gas production and its properties when changing the parameters. Finally, the model is compared with the data obtained in the experiment on the fluid reactor biofluid 2.

Marketing of company Mobil Gas Centrum, Ltd
Studený, Vojtěch ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Votava, Libor (referee)
The thesis investigated the company MOBIL GAS CENTRUM, spol. s. r. o., providing installation, servicing and sale of LPG, CNG in cars and trucks. The aim of which is to help the company to better understand its market position, specify its customers and target audience, competitors and possibly suggest a better way to communicate with customers. The work also describes the marketing mix, marketing objectives and strategies of the company studied, examined the competition using Porter's model of five forces of competitive and marketing research using questionnaires. The conclusion summarizes all the information and formulated recommendations.
