Regression Methods of Calculations of Reserves and their Practical Application to Automobile Insurance

This paper deals with modelling of loss development array. The methods and models used for analysis of the array and the reason of using statistical methods in the insurance are described in the first part of the thesis. The second part is concerned with the best model applied on the slightly modied data. The aim of this work is presentation and application of the regression method on the data sample.

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to find out how the activities concerning daily press go in five selected public libraries. In opening chapter the examined branch is delineated by definitions of used terms, previous adaptations of this topic are summarized, and methodology of research based on interview and surveys is introduced. Hypotheses are expressed in the last part of this chapter. In the second chapter all the Czech national daily press is characterized and their internet activities are documented. If those titles have an electronic version, it's functionality is examined in this part of thesis. Chapters 3 and 4 present results of research which was done at five libraries of various sizes.The third chapter presents selected libraries and it describes the workflow of purchasing the press in those organizations with a special emphasis on the process of choosing the material. In the fourth chapter the preferences of readers in selected libraries and the intensity of their interest over time are examined. This part of dissertation also includes analysis of other activities concerning press such as cataloguing and displacing journals. Third and Fourth chapter are closed with summarization of detected facts. In the conclusion assigned hypotheses are confirmed or disconfirmed.

The Choice of Universal Abseiling Aids for the Requirements of the Czech Armed Forces

Title: The Choice of Universal Abseiling Aids for the Requirements of the Czech Armed Forces Objectives: Choosing abseiling - belaying aids in accordance with the needs of the Czech Armed Forces. Methods: A mixed empirical research was involved. In order to analyse the results, closed questionnaires created in MS Excel were produced and evaluated later on. They were split into two phases. The analysis of the relationships of the variables was carried out using methods of descriptive statistics. To collect data, the Delphi research method was used. The survey was conducted in cooperation with chief instructors of military climbing. Respondents were selected according to their qualifications. Results: It was chosen ATC Guide like the most acceptable abseiling aid for the requirements of the Czech armed forces by informant with help research method Delphi. Factors affecting stock prices of selected insurance companies

Diploma thesis analyzes factors affecting stock prices of selected insurance companies. The first part focuses on development trends in the insurance industry. Goal of the second part is to introduce selected insurance companies Allianz and American International Group to the reader. The third section focuses on the individual factors and their relationship to stock prices with regard to specific features of insurance companies. Analysis is divided into four levels. First level monitors the impact of global factors, second analyzes macroeconomic indicators of national economy, followed by analysis industry specific factors and company level analyzes factors of individual firms.
Implementation of new product to the czech postal market

The aim of this thesis is to propose a design and implementation of a new product in the field of parcel services in the Czech Post and propose its communication strategy. The basis for correct and efficient product design theme consists of description of the main postal market aspects and principles in the Czech Republic and detailed monitoring and analysis of domestic and global competition and customer environment. This, together with a summary of the basic theoretical approaches to the field of marketing and commercial communication forms the basis for designing a communication strategy. Results of this work confirmed that the proposed new product "Předplacené balíkové obaly" is a promising service that could help the Czech Post in the growing competitiveness in the field of express parcel delivery. Succes of its implementation will largely depend on the ability of the Czech Post effectively inform customers. Communication campaign, however, must reflex and develop the previous link of the "Great Parcel Revolution ".
Fundamental analysis of stocks of Komerční banka

My Bachelor thesis is concerned with the fundametal analysis of stocks of Komerční banka, a. s. By applying all parts of fundamental analyses -- global, market, firm, I will do a detailed analysis of these stocks with consideration of the relations which affect the price movement. After that I will determine the intrinsic value. Every chapter consists of both the theoretical basis that outlines the area being solved and the practical application of those methods. The outcome of this work will be investment advice, whether to buy, hold or sell those stocks. Invesment advice will be at the end of the thesis.
