Revitalization of the Antonín Slavíček housing estate in Svitavy
Starý, Josef ; Březina, Jan (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is the design and revitalization of the Antonína Slavíčka housing estate in Svitavy. It is mainly a comparison of 3 variants of the solution. Maximization of parking spaces in zone 30, a more suitable solution for parking in zone 30 and a design using a residential zone. The subject is the extension of existing sidewalks and the design of new ones, the reconstruction and creation of new local roads, the reconstruction of the surfaces of existing stands and the proposal to increase the number of new ones, the installation of container stands for mixed and sorted waste.
Cluster analysis in mathematical software
Starý, Josef ; Karpíšek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Žák, Libor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on methods of cluster analysis in mathematical software. The goal is to describe basic methods of cluster analysis, to describe their implementation in mathematical software, to use the methods for clustering of prepared data and to compare the functionality of chosen software.
Fuzzy decision models
Starý, Josef ; Karpíšek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Žák, Libor (advisor)
This master's thesis is focused on fuzzy decision-making using fuzzy inference systems. In the first part, the math theory necessary in this field is described. The main objective of the thesis is to create a fuzzy inference system with adaptive cruise control function. Mathematical software MATLAB is used to accomplish this goal. The system evalutes situations and decides on the vehicle's response based on input variables such as the vehicles's speed, the speed of the previous vehicle, and the distance between vehicles. Its functionality is tested in this thesis using simulations of fictional scenarios, and then the system is compared to real adaptive cruise control systems using real data.
Nutritional biology of the soil saprophagous mites (Acarina: Oribatida) in Rendezvous biotope
Režňáková, Petra ; Smrž, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Starý, Josef (referee)
This study was performed in Rendez-Vous locality in Lednice-Valtice conservation area from October 2008 up to September 2009. The litter of two microhabitats were sampled - yew tree and Turkey oak. The extraction in Berlese-Tullgren termeclectors yielded 9043 soil mites which represented 26 oribatids species and 4 genera without species determination. The usual methods were applied for the comunity structure observation including numerical analysis. Moreover, the histological ways were used for the study of of the feeding habits of the dominant species (Gymnodamaeus bicostatus, Spatiodamaeus verticillipes, Platynothrus peltifer). The microhabitats were different from each other as regards their community structure as well as their dominant oribatid species as confirmed by the numerical analysis. The food offer of microhabitat and feeding selection of mites were substantial for the settlement of microhabitat. Microhabitats play just very important role in soil biology.
Systematics of oribatid mite families Damaeidae and Gymnodamaeidae (Acari: Oribatida) feeding ecology of selected oribatid species
