Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient After a Stroke

Name: CASE STUDY OF A PHYSIOTHERAPY TREATMENT OF A PATIENT AFTER A STROKE Aims: The aim of this thesis is to gain and collect theoretical information about theme "stroke" and the development of the case study of a patient with this diagnosis. Methods: The thesis is devided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is devoted to a knowledge about stroke gained during university studies, and to information from specialized literature. This part summarizes basic findings about diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. Practical part comes out of exact case study of a patient after suffering ischemic stroke with cerebellar syndrome. Case study was prepared on a bassis of practice from 22nd of January till 16th of February 2018 at Vršovická zdravotní a.s. It consists of detailed input and output kinesiology analysis and also description of individual therapeutic units. Key words: stroke, cerebellar syndrome, ischemia, rehabilatation, therapy
