Master's thesis focuses on the potential relationships between the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche and the ideology of Nazism. With an approach that emphasizes the complexity and wide range of this issue, the study strives to analyze Nietzsche's texts and interpret them in the context of Nazi ideology. The work is structured into four chapters, focusing on Nietzsche's philosophical concepts, ethics, critical views on his philosophy from other authors, and political aspects of his ethics. The key point is Nietzsche's ethics and its potential connections with Nazism. This work attempts to provide a deeper and more objective view of Nietzsche's philosophy, thereby contributing to a better understanding of his work and possible correlations with Nazi ideology.

Coaching as a profession: bases for professional ethics of coaching and reflection on selected topics

This diploma thesis presents coaching as an independent profession. It shows that it is not just a method of training, counseling or employee management, which would then follow the ethics of the fields in which it is applied, but that coaching is a profession that has its own methodology, research and practice, during which atise a specific ethical issues, and this diploma thesis will focus on selected ones. The first part deals with the issue of the concept of coaching. Based on the definition of coaching and its historical development, it tries to distinguish coaching from psychotherapy, mentoring, counseling and also from sports coaching. It examines the etymology of the word coach, whether there is any more suitable Czech equivalent of this profession designation, which is closely connected primarily with the sports environment. It tries to define the professional base of coaching, to find its position among the helping professions, to show its independence and thus to obtain starting points for future ethical reflections. In the second part of the diploma thesis, the paradigm of the coach- client relationship is determined, the coach's professional competencies and assumptions on the client's side are defined. Ethicotherapy in the concept of Ctibor Bezděk. Problems of human moral life and health. Abstract The aim of the diploma thesis is to point out the connections between the moral life of a person and his state of health. This is a current topic of applied ethics, which deals with the relationship between ethical behavior and its consequences in health and disease therapy. The work deals with the life and work of Ctibor Bezděk, who is considered by the professional public to be the founder of ethics therapy. The diploma thesis introduces the concepts of ethics therapy and tries to bring the meaning of his work to the present day with an understandable approach. The diploma thesis also points out the importance of moral balance in various areas of our lives, the role of faith in God and the trust we place in him in the dynamics of health and disease. The method used in the diploma thesis is the analysis of Ctibor Bezděk's texts, the systematic arrangement into the topic of the thesis and the updating of his legacy. Aristotle's conception of ethics

Diploma thesis deals the Aristotle's conception of ethics. The aim of this thesis is to introduce and to do understandable a overview of ethics. First of all, the thesis concentrates general characteristic time, Aristotele's life and status of ethics in the Aristotle's philosophy. Secondly, the thesis mentions general Aristotle's ethics. It deals with the subjekt, goals, good and hapiness, virtue and moral conduct. Third, the thesis deals intelectuall virtue including knowledge, art, wisdom and understanding. Fourth, the thesis concentrates moral virtuos and courage, moderation, generosity, other generosity, healthy ambition, calmness and truthfulness. Fifthly, the thesis mentions the conception of justice and its division into general and partiak justice. Last, thesis is devoted friendship and its companions. The work deals with the characteristics of natural law in the Sum of theological St. Thomas Aquinas, as well as what natural law is and the question of the philosophical problem of natural law. The aim of the work is to point out the place and role of natural law in the Theological Sum.At the end of the work synthesize individual chapter and subchapters and do an analythical analysis of natural law in the Theological Sum. The name of my work is the place and role of the Natural law in the Theological Sum of St. Thomas Aquinas.

Ethical aspects of handling data acquired from experiments on people

The presented master's thesis examines experiments on humans conducted in Nazi concentration camps during WWII and focuses on the conflict between the victims on one side and scientists on the other. In this conflict, which is centered around the fate of the data, both sides take a strong stand. The criteria for an ethical evaluation is to objectively articulate the main argumentation pillars from both sides and assess their validity in the contrast of two ethical theories which are virtue theory and the theory of consequentialism. To reach this objective, the thesis draws from available literal and audio-visual sources from the fields of history, philosophy, psychology, anthropology and bioethics. The paper is divided into three main parts. The first part is dedicated to terminology, technical execution, integrity, impact and logistics of the experiments. The second part analyzes victim testimonies and impact statements and arguments that had been put forward by the research community. The third part deals with the meaning of the term person's dignity/KAVOD, evaluates the argument points in the contrast of ethical theories, introduces the phenomenon of cognitive dissonance and deliberates the scientific community stance. Learnability of ethics: is it possible to acquire a virtue?

Learnability of ethics: is it possible to acquire a virtue? Key words: ethics, virtue, learning, learnability, knowledge, practice This diploma thesis is focused on the field of virtue ethics as one of the main branches of the practical philosophy and on the theme of the possibility to learn or acquire a virtue. In the introduction part, it presents the context and the basis of the theme and besides that also the fundamental criteria, by which the outcome of the thesis and the main question will be assessed. Then a general description of the main principles of the virtue ethics is introduced. The next two main chapters are devoted to the description of the approach to this kind of moral philosophy in the works of it's two most significant representatives, Plato and Aristotle. This description is held with the idea to stress those aspects of virtue, that are in connection with the possibility and forms of learning it. The next chapter brings several more examples of the opinion about both introduces conceptions from the viewpoint of the learnability of virtue. The conclusion then summarizes the described features of the virtue, in what way they connect with the idea of learnability and if they meet the criteria set at the beginning of the thesis.

Are assisted reproductive technologies a therapy of infertility?

This work "Is assisted reproduction a therapy for infertility?" deals with methods of assisted reproduction. The aim is not only to elucidate its techniques but also to open some difficult ethical questions. This work shows why we cannot regard assisted reproduction as a legitimite treatment for infertility and suggests alternative procedures. The first chapter is about the individual human life seen from the perspective of various sciences. The second chapter is about causes of infertility and about possibilities of its treatment. The third chapter deals with various methods of artificial reproduction. The following chapter is about ethical challenges related to these methods. The fifth chapter presents the standpoint of the magisterium of the Catholic Church. The final chapter tries to see fertility and parenthood from a larger perspective: the principal alternatives are substitute family care and spiritual parenthood. Egoism - the ethical concept of today

This thesis deals with the current egoistic nature of man. The first part of the paper will describe the historical background and the rise of empirical science and will point out the newly emerging cultural paradigm which has influenced the whole value system and general development of today's society. This will be followed up by the description of an individual phenomena that guides the acceptance of social principles actively pursued within our society these days. Parsing of individual factors using the method of analysis and synthesis will allow us to approach the very phenomenon of egoism from a wider perspective. The focus of this paper is to attempt to answer whether man's dependency on today's society leads to the development of egoistic characteristic in a person. The paper will also attempt, using philosophical and theological reflection and modern science, to find an outline for a solution that would be beneficial to the advancement of an altruistic profile of civilization. Ethical aspects of work as a long-term human commitment

The Diploma Thesis "Ethical aspects of work as a long-term human commitment" deals with the question under what condition the work assigned as the external obligation can be understood as the personal responsibility. The Thesis deals with the dilemma between commitment and responsibility, the purpose of work as a commitment from the Christian and philosophical point of view. It describes and analyzes the variety of meaning and forms by which a person's work can be personaly commited, further defines the criteria for such binding, including Christian and philosophical bases. The Thesis connects the general socio- ethical argumentation with the reflection of the author's practical experience from the metallurgical industry in the Ostrava region. On concrete examples, it shows the current ethical issues associated with understanding the assigned work as a personally responsible commitment and proposes solutions to them in accordance with Christian principles.
