This thesis defines the basic characteristics of the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility, which is loosely translated as social responsibility. The theoretical part deals with the area and the benefits as the main actors. It further describes methods of measuring corporate social responsibility and last paragraphs of the theory describes the steps necessary to implement the concept of CSR into business strategy. Occasionally it also mentioned the historical development of CSR. The practical part is devoted to the Vodafone Czech Republic a. s. and its specific activity in the area of social responsibility. It also includes case studies that the main object is to assist the voluntary non-profit organization. Marginally described the situation in the Czech Republic, as the business sector sees CSR concept.
Consumer behavior - comparison between the U.S. and Czech markets

The main purpose of this Diploma Thesis is to provide an overview of the Czech Consumer behavior and the American Consumer behavior based on the marketing parameters, economic elements and sociocultural dimensions that affect their purchase decisions. This thesis portraits the different purchase directions and preferences of the modern societies in USA and Czech Republic and the reasoning behind them therefore it will allow future investors and entrepreneurs to understand their business surroundings and make informed decisions towards specific objectives and targets in the both countries.
Corporate Culture of Vodafone Czech Republic a.s.

Corporate culture is considered as an important idicator of firm's long-term performance. It represents a collection of values, norms and attitudes that are shared in people in organization and that control the way they interact with each other and with stakeholders. First part of the thesis describes corporate culture from theoretical point of view, concretely definition, characteristics and typology of corporate culture, its relation to company's control processes and its changes. Second part of the thesis concentrates on analysis of corporate culture of Vodafone Czech Republic a.s. I paid attention to linkage between corporate culture and company strategy, elements of corporate culture and to its manifestations in internal communication and employees questions. Corporate Social Responsibility issue as an inseparable part of company's culture is analyzed as well. Final part of the thesis belongs to a review of Vodafone's corporate culture with focus on its strength and pros and cons implied.
Corporate responsibility as a part of company strategy

The main topic of thesis is the issue of corporate social responsibility, which gradually acquires new fans and so is gaining importance. The first part aims to describe the basic characteristics of the concept and then clarifying the procedure for the incorporation of social responsibility to the main business strategy. Latest part of the theoretical part points to need to distinguish from the concept of corporate philanthropy and Public Relations. The practical part of the thesis describes long-term strategy of Nike, Inc., which own activities manage not only meet the requirements of all stakeholders, the company but the promotion of own business and the industry in which the enterprise operates. The author wants to point out in the thesis that implementing corporate social responsibility into the strategic plan can help every company to gain competitive advantage and support the community, which is part of.
Franchising, a modern method of market entry

My work deals with the franchising as a modern method of market entry. My work is divided into two main parts. The first part is about the meaning of the word franchising and his different types and possible forms of expansion of franchising to foreing markets. I also analyze the possible advantages and disadvantages of a particular company Mistic. The second part shows the application of franchising to specific company Mistic. On this part is supplemented by advantages and disadvantages of this specific company.
The contribution of corporate social responsibility for business

Bachelor's thesis deals with the CSR, the author tries to present this modern phenomenon as a competitive advantage of companies. The study defines the basic characteristics of CSR, mentions its mistaken understanding. The chief part of this study includes analysis of the benefits of social responsibility. The theoretical concept is studied in practice. The author took as a model for the analysis the company Nestlé. The conclusion of thesis contains an evaluating of Nestle Company CSR Report and own opinion of an inclusion of socially responsible business activities in corporate strategy.
Díla Maffea Pantaleoniho vybrané otázky

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na významnou italskou osobnost, Maffeo Pantaleoni, a na jeho velký vklad do italské a světové ekonomie. V práci jsou také popsané dva z mnohých problémů, kterými se zabýval italský ekonom na konci 19. a na počátku 20. století; jeho přátelství s Vilfredem Paretem a o skandálu Římské banky, ve kterém Pantaleoni hrál jednu z hlavních rolí. Maffeo Pantaleoni zdůrazňuje důležitost výchozích a konečných pozic pro ekonomické subjekty v díle Výchozí a konečná pozice. Kde ekonom analyzuje a snaží se aplikovat vzájemné působení výchozích a konečných bodů krátkodobých a dlouhodobých časových intervalů v ekonomickém aspektu pomocí příkladů a alegorie. Pomocí druhého díla Některé fenomény ekonomické dynamiky Maffeo Pantaleoni pokračuje ve studiu ekonomů neoklasiků, kteří přesně definovali pojem statiky, a uvádí a vysvětluje dynamiku druhého druhu. Tady autor klade důraz hlavně na vliv rostoucí poptávky na dimenzi podniku a na rozdělení hlavních a specifických výdajů. V obou případech Maffeo Pantaleoni je proti státnímu zásahu a vystupuje pro "svobodnou" ekonomii.
Shopping Tourism

The bachelor thesis defines shopping tourism as a form of tourism and subdivides it into forms and types. It deals with the preconditions for the development of this form of tourism and its potential impacts. One chapter concerns itself with the specifics of destinations and attractions of shopping tourism and provides examples of them. The final part of the thesis deals with the tourist expenses on shopping and with shopping tourism in the Czech Republic. The last chapter concerns itself with the factors that could affect the future development of shopping tourism.
