Title: General Project for Private Kindergardens Objectives: The primary aim of this diploma thesis is a survey of quality in organization of physical activities at the private kindergardens in Liberec. The secondary aim is to create a general framework for a specific kindergarden incorporated into the Czech Republic Idex of Kindergardens. Methods: This work combines direct, indirect and document methods; namely observing, dialogues, subject analysis and analysis of a secondary pedagogical school curriculum, which is a basis for theoretical and then consecutively for practical starting points of the work. The ascertained data are processed quantitatively. Results: Launching out into the market sector of private kindergardens in Liberec is not difficult. The quality of the physical activities offer shows an average up to below- average level but they keep a leading position in number of children per one teacher. Furthemore, there was found a lack in conducting children within physical activities in the public kindergardens in Liberec. Sport policy and public financing of sports in Finland

: Title: Sport Policy and Sports Funding from Public Sources in Finland Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to describe how works sport culture in Finland. The thesis shows a high level of attention devote to sport and physical activities with focus on funding of the sport from public sources and lottery business (Veikkaus). The thesis provides knowledge and new information about sport culture in Finland. Methods: I have used methods of case studies and explanation, which allow me to analyze system of sport funding and sport organization in Finland. The methods were combined with secondary information to obtain furthur insight into the sport system in Finland. Results: A high level of sport policy and sports funding from public sources is proved in Finland. Satisfaction of Finns with sport conditions are documented in Eurobarometr survey. Public funding of sport in Finland is above average compere to other EU states. Due to lottery Veikkaus, state funding in to sport has long term increasing trend. Finnish sport culture highlights and characterizes providing precondition from municipalities and Finnish sport culture is driven by voluntary sector. Title: Ethical Aspects of Ultimate Frisbee Objectives: The purpose of this study is to introduce one of the recent team sports - ultimate frisbee - in the matter of its ethics. The work is divided into two thematic parts. The first one deals with general introduction of the fair play problemacy including also the issue of the referees/umpires. The second part presents ultimate frisbee covering its history, game rules and the idea of the Spirit of the Game. The role of the region in sport development - Case study of Liberec region

Title: The role of the region in sport development - Case study of Liberec region Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is set to analyse the role of the region bodies of authority in sport development illustrated by a concrete example of the Liberec region. A partial objective is to describe and analyse tools of the regional sport policy and to analyse regional budget sport financing. Methods: There was used the case study design in the diploma thesis to find out the situation of sport policy in Liberec region. Informations were collected from the documents, which are available in public and from internal documents. For data collection there was also used a method of semi - structured interview. Content analysis of documents and interviews was used for the evaluation. Then the SWOT analysis was worked up. Results: In the thesis, the most important tools of the Liberec region sport policy were described. The regional budget was allocated to sport the most funds in 2008, when the amount exceeds 120 million CZK. This fact was affected by organizing international sport events in the Liberec region. Title: Media Image of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games Focused on the Top Czech Athletes Goal: Evaluation of the presentation of the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver (mainly Czech athletes) in the Czech daily newspapers Mladá fronta DNES and Hospodářské noviny Research method: Quantitative content analysis Results: The press dedicated much bigger room to Olympic information compared to other competitions. Out of the Czech athletes, medalists and hockey players were mostly presented. The most articles about the Czech athletes were published after their successful races or matches. Problems of drug abuse in vocational school with regard to societal milieu of its students

Name: Problems of drog abuse in vocational school adolescents with emphasis on their social environment Goal: The main goal of my work is to assess the drog abuse situation in youths, taking into account the relationship with close social environments, at gastronomie vocational schools OU and PrŠ Chabařovická, together with the in:fluence of drogs on their use offree time. Method In order to ascertain the actual drog situation at OU and PrŠ Chabařovická and possible factors of the social environment influencing the attitude of students towards drugs, sociological research was carried out ofthe nature: Quantitive techniques - questionnaires Qualitative techniques - group meetings Results: With the help of quantitative unstandardised questionnaire analysis followed by qualitatiYe group interviews the current population of students at OU and PrŠ Chabařovická was mapped, from which results indicate that some of the followed parameters appear in the described population quite often. Space and material factors influencing sport of 11-15 years old adolescents with regard to school specialization

Thesis: Soort conditions in Pilsen for secondary schoollevel children Object ofwork: The goal of the thesis is to find out actual situation of sport space conditions for children of secondary school age level and whether the real facilities in studied locality of Pilsen are sufficient enough. These findings I will further compare with children's opinions on place and material conditions. This attitude information I intend to extract from questionnaire survey. Eventually I will propose proceedings to improve actual situation. Method: To obtain the mentioned data I applied empirie quantitative research through ofuse of standardized questionnaire and interview. Data of quantitative character were analyzed by PC program Microsoft Excel. Results: Generally we can consider sport conditions for secondary school level children in Pilsen as satisfactory, especially space conditions in locality ofhabitation and economical rear of Pilsen's families are on a solid level, this fmding was also confirmed by children themselves. As well the number and situation of sport facilities offering sport self-realization is adequate to nowadays children's requirement, especially for organized forms of sport activities.
