The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to summarize findings about the influence of personality characteristics on the development of violent radicalization. This work also proposes research specifically focused on the environment of Czech right-wing radicalization and the relationship between the inclination to use violence and specific personality characteristics determined using the HEXACO inventory. The first chapter of the literary review part deals with various types of radicalizations and clarifies the concepts and names that will be used further in the thesis. The second chapter is focused on personality characteristics that can contribute to the development of violently radical thinking, both from the field of psychopathology and non- clinical knowledge. In the third chapter, models of radicalization processes and important milestones are briefly described. In the last chapter, the topics of deradicalization and resilience to radicalization and the possibility of their use for protection against violent radicalization are described. In the practical part of the bachelor's thesis, the research proposal is described in more detail, which includes a proposal for data collection using a questionnaire survey and a proposal for the methods used. These methods are designed to explore the...
Mutual influences of prizonization and resocialization of the prison population
Viková, Aneta ; Netík, Karel (advisor) ; Slavík, Michal (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to contribute to the understanding of the issue of prisonization and resocialization in the prison population. A qualitative research design was chosen, in which our sample of the prison population was monitored with the help of semi-structured interviews were described the influences that affect the mentioned concepts and the ways in which they manifest themselves in the respondents. The research sample consisted of 16 respondents serving prison terms in medium and high security. The respondents were in the Prague Ruzyně Prison at the time of the research. These were men whose ages ranged from 29 to 57 years. The results of the research showed that the prisonization of our respondents is mainly influenced by: the influence of other inmates, the use of prison argot, loss of activity and initiative, not acquiring any new skills and knowledge needed for life in freedom, purposeful adaptation to the given rules, misunderstanding the meaning of the given rules , lack of communication, lack of individual approach of the prison staff and insufficient influence of the staff on the convicts. At the same time, these factors negatively affect resocialization. Successful resocialization was further reduced by the following factors: insufficient insight into criminal activity, little...
Agreement on guilt and punishment
Slavík, Michal ; Říha, Jiří (advisor) ; Krupička, Jiří (referee)
This master`s thesis deals with the topic of agreement on guilt and punishment, which was introduced into Czech criminal procedure code in 2012. The agreement on guilt and punishment represents an alternative way of solving criminal cases. The agreement is entered into by the prosecutor and the accused, while taking into account the interests of the injured party. A precondition of the conclusion of an agreement on guilt and punishment is the declaration of the accused that they committed the act for which they are prosecuted. The prosecutor proposes the adequate punishment for the act committed and the final version of the agreement has to be approved by the court. For the accused, this procedure means a mitigation of the sentence in exchange for a declaration of committing an act. An advantage for the law enforcement authorities is shorter and simplified criminal procedure. Other benefits of the conclusion of the agreement on guilt and punishment are the cost savings and the protection of injured parties. The institute of agreement on guilt and punishment has its origin in the Anglo-American legal system where it is one of the pillars of the criminal process. In the Czech context, however, it is a foreign and controversial institute, which is subject to strong criticism mainly by legal theorists....
Administration and Management of Football in the Czech Republic
Slavík, Michal ; Král, Pavel (advisor) ; Tripes, Stanislav (referee)
The Football Association of the Czech Republic (FACR) board election triggered speculations about the governance of the association last year. Specifically, principles of transparency and democracy in the association were remarked. The aim of the thesis was to assess the level of transparency and democracy in the governance of the FACR and to compare the evaluation of the FACR governance by different stakeholders. A case study research design was chosen. Multiple sources of data collection were combined such as document analysis, media coverage analysis, interviews and a questionnaire survey. Results reveal low democracy of the FACR governance in spite of democratic governance design. Stakeholders do not feel to be involved in governance of FACR and they do not have the oportunity to take part in this process. Stakeholders' perception of transparency was better than the objective assessment of transparency. In particular, the financial transparency was the lowest. Thus, results provide new evidence to assumption that transparency is not enrooted in the society of CEE countries and the perception of transparency is biased.
Search Engine Marketing of Nonprofit Organizations
Slavík, Michal ; Kliegr, Tomáš (advisor) ; Nemrava, Jan (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to design methodics for Search Engine Marketing (SEM) in nonprofit organizations (NPOs) which takes advantage of their specifics. Other goals include practical evaluation of the methodics and analysis of the current state of NPOs websites. Determined goals are reached by merging theoretical background from relevant literature with the knowledge gained during field research and with author's experience. Designed methodics is built on the following hypotheses: NPOs are able to negotiate better trade terms than trading companies, NPOs can delegate their volunteers to do some SEM activities. Field research confirmed both hypotheses. Hypothesis that NPOs websites are static because NPOs see no profit in regular publishing was disproved. The methodics consists of four phases and also includes recommended tools, metrics, topics for publishing and a list of linkbaiting activities. The thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter summarizes the necessary theoretical background, while the second chapter defines terms and premises. The main methodics can be found in chapter three. The fourth chapter contains current state analysis based on examination of 31 websites. A comparison of the methodics' hypotheses and activities against the experience of 21 NPOs representatives and 3 experts in the field of SEO is given in the last chapter. Opinions of the both groups of respondents are compared too. Based on the respondents' judgments on costs and utility of the methodics' activities a rank of these activities is finally created. The main contribution of this thesis is a conversion of the universal SEM theory into the specific conditions and language of NPOs practitioners and an analysis of the current state in this field.

Výzkum je zaměřen na vymezení plošného rozsahu, úrovně a vertikální distribuce vybraných kontaminantů v půdách rozdílné kultivace (les, pastvina, pole) v oblasti Moravskoslezských Beskyd. Konkrétně jde hlavně o radiogenní 137Cs a další vybrané prvky (těžké kovy). Pomocí potápěčů a zarážených sond byly provedeny odběry jader sedimentů z nádrží Šance a Morávka (19 jader).

Web Analytics: Identification of new trends
Slavík, Michal ; Kliegr, Tomáš (advisor) ; Nekvasil, Marek (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to identify the main trends in the field of tools used to analyse web traffic. The necessary theoretical background is extracted from relevant literature and field research is chosen to gain knowledge of practitioners. Following trends have been identified: a growth in demand for Web Analytics software, an increasing interest in Web Analytics courses, an enlargment of measuring Web 2.0 and social networks, use of semantic information as the most fruitful section of academic research. The thesis also presents the main techniques of Web Usage Mining: association rules, sequential patterns, and clustering. A section about query categorization is also included. According to the field research, practitioners express most interest in clustering. The first two chapters present Web Analytics in general and introduce the main aspects of current applications. The third chapter covers theoretical research, the fifth one presents results of the field research. The fourth chapter raises the point that terminology of Web Analytics is not unified.
