Rektořík, Jan ; Popelová, Barbora (referee) ; Skalická, Petra (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis “External risks of a Critical Infrastructure Entity from the Public Sector” is the analysis and evaluation of the external risks of the Office for Government Representation in in Property Affairs (OGRPA), with emphasis on the continuity of its function and the formulation of recommendations for the existing risks. The first part of the thesis deals with essential concepts and theoretical knowledge. The second part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of the current state of the OGRPA risk management system, the risk analysis, the evaluation and the proposal of the solution for the current OGRPA risks management system.
Rules designing roads for skaters
Skalická, Petra ; Bačová,, Katarína (referee) ; Kocourek,, Josef (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The dissertation deals with non-motorized transport. Specifically, it focuses directly on the new non-motorized traffic sector, which is the riders of roller skates. Title of the dissertation The rules for designing roads for skaters were selected from the point of view of unresolved issues. The main goal of the dissertation is to enable the legislative inclusion of skaters as a separate group into the transport hierarchy so that they can gain space for their movement in the transport area. The result should be primarily a reduction in accidents and an increase in road safety for non-motorized vehicles. Other objectives of the thesis include the creation of design parameter tables for methodological instructions based on the analysis of the data obtained by measuring and determining the critical traffic intensity on existing roads. The dissertation summarizes the current issue of non-motorized transport, but especially the issue of skaters transport. It assesses the situation in the Czech Republic compared to the conditions abroad. It explains the physical patterns of the skater's movements, based on which the spatial demands on the used transport space are derived. The following is an overview of selected methods dealing with measurement and evaluation of transport speeds and intensities. Depending on the values found, rules are then created for designing the basic parameters of the skateboard trail network, which includes, for example, traffic sign design and construction requirements.

The role of education in the process of development of poor countries
Kocová, Tereza ; Novotný, Josef (advisor) ; Skalická, Petra (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to discuss the role of education in the process of development of poor countries. The thesis is divided into two sections. The first, introductory section, attempts to illustrate the relationship between education and development at the global level. The current state of global education, including the development of selected global initiatives on education, is evaluated quantitatively. Introductory section also highlights the connection between education and individual indicators of development. The second section which is the main part of the work focuses on discussing and evaluating knowledge gained through research of scientific literature on "micro-mechanisms" underlying and explaining "macro-relations" between education and development discussed in the first section of the work. The main identified mechanisms can be divided into the following areas: economic behavior, demographic behavior, health quality, gender inequality, the implementation and use of technology in agriculture, environmental behavior, and migration. Overall, it has been illustrated that while the macrorelationship between education and development at the level of overall societies is quite evident, the discussion presented in this thesis suggests that the specific individual mechanisms which enable...
