European migration crisis and the role of selected countries: the Czech Republic, Hungary and Germany

This master s thesis deals with European migration crisis and the role of selected countries: the Czech Republic, Hungary and Germany. The thesis is divided into theoretical and analytical part. The theoretical part contains definitions of basic terms. For better orientation in this subject, it is crucial to distinguish between the terms migrant, refugee and spurious refugee. Another section is devoted to the theory of migration and asylum and migration policy. More extensive analytical part of the thesis is dedicated to possible causes of the current migration crisis and demographic structure of migrants. Furthermore a large part of the thesis is devoted to their level of education. In subsequent chapters the thesis deals with the impact of the migration crisis on economic and social aspects. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the current status of the migration crisis in the EU and to compare the approach of selected countries to this crisis. The comparison is included in the last chapter.
Marketing impact on the consumer society

This bachelor thesis describes the influence of marketing and its various instruments on consumer society in globalized economy. The theoretical part is divided into several parts - cause of occurrence of consumerism, change of values of consumers, globalization and impact of income on consumption. It also describes the relationship between marketing and consumerism, consumers and marketers. Then follows a list of positive and negative effects of marketing on consumer society. In the practical part it works with the evaluation questionnaire about consumption and the influence of marketing. At the end you can find an estimate of the potential development and conclusion of the whole work.
Corporate Social Responsibility in ČSOB

The aim of this work is to approximate concept of Corporate Social Responsibility. The work is divided into two parts. First part focuses on general introduction into problematics of Corporate Social Responsibility, its influence on individuals, demarcation of activities and their contribution to the company, which decided to implement area of Social Responsibility to their strategy. Marginally shows main points which supported establishment of Corporate Social Responsibility. Second part focuses on practical use of Corporate Social Responsibility on real subject-Czechoslovak Trade Bank (ČSOB). It presents activities and projects in which ČSOB takes part or those which itself laid. The conclusion contains evaluation of current activities and possible recommendations for future progress in area of Social Responsibility.
Application of Phillips curves in the years 2011 - 2013 for selected countries of the European Union and the comparison with the Czech Republic

The foundation for my senior thesis is based on the theoretical model of Phillips curve and its analysis which is aimed at defining the relationship between inflation and unemployment rates. The curve was constructed in order to determine the short- and long-term transformation periods in various economies. The Philips curve was modeled using linear regression and the interrelationship between previously mentioned inflation and unemployment rates is evaluated via correlation analysis. For this research, it was essential to gather and organize empirical and statistical data of Czech Republic and other chosen countries of the European Union. Further, I will examine the compiled statistical data for the Philips curve model and try to confirm the validity of the data.
Development in the labor market of Moravian-Silesian Region

Bachelor thesis in the theoretical part describes the basic concepts encountered in the labor market. Furthermore, different types of unemployment together with a detailed explanation are named. The main characteristics of the labor market are also described. The theory is shown in reality in the practical part of the thesis. The development of the labor market in the Moravian-Silesian region, its characteristics and active policy of employment is also shown there. The problem of unemployment in this region is shown and explained in more detail in this part also. Vrbno pod Pradědem is used as an illustrative example. City, which is currently also struggling with high unemployment rates. In conclusion, the practical section proposes some solutions to this problem, such as development of tourism, extending Czech - Polish cooperation or the use of grants provided by the Czech Republic and the European Union.
The Great Depression in the USA – process, causes and advice

This Bachelor thesis deals with The Great Depression. The work describes economic and political situation during 20's and 30's of 20th century. First part of this thesis focuses on a time period which led to the eruption of the crisis. Second part solves political actions of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, which were supposed to restore economic situation, and analyzes impact of these actions on economics. The work searches the causes of this crisis and attempts to find a solution on how to prevent before similar crisis in future.
GDP in the Czech republic after accession to the European Union

The thesis focuses on macroeconomic analysis of the Czech Republic after European Union accession. Particular attention is paid to gross domestic product and its structure and development between years 2004 and 2014. Basic interpretive limitations of GDP are also mentioned as well as some alternative indicators, particularly gross national income and real gross domestic income.
The minimum wage in the Czech Republic and European Union

The aim of my work is mainly to capture the evolution of statutory minimum wages and unemployment in the European Union and determine whether and under what situations can affect unemployment. The Thesis describes the establishment and gradual extension of the minimum wage over the world. In additional, I deal with legal regulation and its mechanism of implementation of the EU, the Czech Republic is always devoted a separate chapter. Completes the entire Thesis description and subsequent analysis of the impact of minimum wages on employment.

The power of media and their specialists who are giving advices to us about investing is inconsiderable. But is it right?
The Great Depression of 1929-33 and the current crisis

This thesis addresses the subject of the Great Depression of 1929-1933 and the current crisis and finally compares the work of both themes. The introduction takes us to the 1920s and points out mistakes the developed countries committed and which led to a colossal collapse of the economy. The significant part of the work deals with the initial impact of the current crisis on the population in terms of social impact and introduces us to the macroeconomic indicators. It examines the causes that triggered the crisis. The work is based on the study of literature dealing with the Great Depression of the 1930s and the current crisis and processing of newspaper economics.
