Evaluation of Business Performance Through Financial Analysis Tools

This thesis deals with an evaluation of the financial conditions of Fraenkische CZ company s.r.o. in 2014-2018. It is divided into four parts. In the first part, there are goals of the thesis and procedures of processing mentioned. Then the theoretical part follows where important procedures and methods are explained, which correlate with the financial analysis. Consequently, they are applied practically in the third part, which is an analysis of the current situation. Evaluation of the present situation is the basis of the fourth part, which contains suggestions for improvement of the financial conditions of the given company.

This diploma thesis is devoted to determining the value of a company operating in engineering. The work is divided into six parts. The first part presents the objectives of the work and processing methods. The next part contains theoretical background. In the third part, the awarded company is subjected to a strategic analysis. The following chapter deals with value generators, which are further supplemented in chapter five, which contains the financial plan. The last chapter presents the final valuation of the company and the change of input parameters.

To what extent could mathematical textbooks be politically "innocent"? The reflection of historical events in mathematical "applied problems" in the years 1938-1952

This work monitors the reflection of historical reality in "mathematical applied problems" in the Czech mathematical textbooks from the period of years 1938 -1952. I try to put the actual historical context in a connection with the real situation at that time. The work is structured in a way that the account of historical facts is stated first and then it is explained how the contents of the "mathematical word problems" was influenced by the current situation at that time. I also trace how their contents affected whether the textbooks were going to be redone or rejected. A case study is dedicated to Eduard Čech, a significant mathematician, whose books were published almost throughout this specified period and whose opinions and attitudes characterize the influence of the political situation at these textbooks.

The main aim of the Diploma Theses is to prepare, verify in practice and evaluate museum educational programme for pupils from 12 to 18 (junior schools and secondary schools) which is devoted to the changes in schooling in 20th century. The aim is to introduce to pupils historical facts by the means of three educational programmes and interactive elements in the exhibition. Pupils work with topics covering World War II, 50s and so called normalization period. Throughout the educational process they will use period realia from the above mentioned periods, such as schoolbooks, educational boards and educational aids from the collection of Comenius National Pedagogical Museum and Library in Prague. Condominium in the new Civil Code

The thesis focuses on the condominium in the new Civil Code. Formerly (up to the end of 2013) the condominium was stipulated in a special law. The lawmaker followed the Dutch, Belgian, Swiss and Quebec model where the condominium is a part of a general code. The new Civil Code reintroduces the principle superficies solo cedit, which did not historically go hand in hand with the condominium. In this thesis I highlight the changes and problematic sections of the condominium in the new Civil Code.
