The forced labour camp Dolní Jiřetín
Trögl, Jan ; Rychlík, Jan (advisor) ; Bursík, Tomáš (referee)
The Forced Labour Camps were one of the first forms of mass extra - judicial persecution in Czechoslovakia after the assumption by the communists in February 1948. The law which officia1ly caused their establishment was carried on 25th October 1948 and it started to operate on 17th November 1948. The first camps were prepared before the law started to operate but their function started only by the end of 1948. The first camp started to operate in Kladno - Dříň and the second one was opened in Dolní Jiřetín and it is the theme of this work. The Forced Labour Camp in Dolní Jiřetín was established by the ministerial order from 7th December 1948. By this time there was a commander and eleven guards started to work. The location was prepared several weeks ago by the employees of SHD (the Mine - company in the north Bohemia). The first people were sent there by the end of December 1948 but only a small number. Many more people came after the camp moved from the place nb. 43 to place nb. 24 at the end of January 1949. Both these camps arose during the second world war and their technical state wasn't very good. The intemees started to work for SHD. They were gradually sent to the mines Quido, Centrum, Zdeněk Nejedlý, Prezident Beneš and workshops in Komořany. Beside Quido and workshops in Komořany they were...
Agricultural party in the years 1920-1921
The settlement of Broumovsko in the years 1945-1947
National socialist party of Czech workers and peasants
Kyselák, Milan ; Hlavačka, Milan (advisor) ; Rychlík, Jan (referee)
National socialist Party of Czech workers and peasants (Party of green svastika) was one of important organizations of Czech fascists. The Party operated in the years 1939 - 1942, in the time of Protectorate Czech - Moravia, and included 2,000 members. The Party was dangerous first of all because of its open cooperation with occupation institutions of Nazi Germany. The Party operated especially in Middle and East Moravia, furthermore in Prague. The Party gained its biggest boom in the years 1940 - 1941. The founder and leader of the Party was F. M. Mlcoch from the UhliCice village by Kojetin. He studied service academy in Marburg. After that he was a soldier of the AustroHungarian army, where he defrauded money and escaped abroad. Later he came back to Austro-Hungary, and was punished for what he had done. At the beginning of the First World War Mlcoch entered the army again and fighted at the east front from where he deserted into the captivity of the enemy. He was a legionnaire in Russia for a while, later became a soldier of the Russian Bolshevik's army. After the War he came back to Czechoslovakia, where he entered the Czechoslovakian army for a short time, but was dismissed. He became an active communist and then was involved in the communistic putsch, for which he was sentenced to a half-year...
French-Czechoslovak diplomatic relations in 1938. (Study on the basis of dispatches of Victor de Lacroix)
Jerie, Denis ; Kvaček, Robert (advisor) ; Rychlík, Jan (referee)
This study treats about metamorphosis of diplomatic interrelations between France and Czechoslovakia in the first half of 1938. The main person is french envoy in Prague Victor de Lacroix. French-czechoslovakian diplomatic interrelations was closely connected with other countires, mainly Great Britain, Germany and not least Poland, Romania, Yugoslavia, Soviet Union, Italy, Austria and Hungary. In the twenties of the twenty century France build up community of allied states in the central Europe, especialIy for defence before Germany. France was vital interested in keeping of this system. Czechoslovakia was in this case the most loyal allie. General intemational situation in the thirties clamour for postwar revision status quo and take France aside from the centrale Europe. In this tendency France was support by Great Britain which was ready to make concessions. Czechoslovakia was expose to critical pressure of Germany after the anschluss of Austria in march 1938. In the case of German aggression towards Czechoslovakia France was binding to help on the basis of agreements from 1924 and 1925. The french diplomacy however wasn't able keep apromise. France searches for the support in Great Britain which leeds them from the alIiance with Czechoslovakia.

There are described some stories of few interesting inhabitants of Falknov nad Ohří county in this work.
A post-war policy ofthe Czechoslovak Communist Party from 1945-1946 (from the Košický programme to the parliamentary election in 1946)
Duchoslav, Petr ; Kvaček, Robert (advisor) ; Rychlík, Jan (referee)
This work, in detail, deals with the post-war policy ofthe Czechoslovak communist party in 1945-1946. It is defined on one side by the restoration ofthe party and on the other side by the parliamentary election in 1946. The parliamentary election in 1946 ended the first phase of the party' s tactics, whose aim was to infiltrate the state mechanism and, at the same time, the election built optimal conditions for the party to finally eliminate its political enemies and seize absolute power. I have deliberately chosen this demarcation because it takes a key place in the development of the party' s political tactics, and not a period ending in astate coup ď etat in 1948. This approach would have been possible but it might have ended up growing into a simple description in which all the important and relevant matters of the party' s programme and political strategy were left out. The very core ofthis work is made of a post-war policy analysis of The Czechoslovak Communist Party, its historical development in an overall domestic and intemational context. It particularly focuses on the following crucial issues: 1. a post-war restoration of the party; 2. The party's policy in a period ofThe Provisional National Assembly (TPNA); 3. The 8th convention ofThe Czechoslovak Communist Party; 4. The May 1946 election. This...
Czechoslovakia and France 1948-1968. Czechoslovak-French diplomatic and cultural relations between 1948 and 1968
Motejlková, Ludmila ; Rychlík, Jan (advisor) ; Perottino, Michel (referee) ; Švařičková-Slabaková, Radmila (referee)
The Fourth Republic fell sort of expectations of French nation. The institutional system based on predominance of political parties could guarantee neither inner stability nor the return of France to the world political power. Weaknesses of French governments and their inability to cope with the serious political and economic issues resulted in collapse of the Fourth Republic in spring 1958. Some months later a new political system was established. It enabled to give France back its grandeur and independence. The first decade of the Fifth Republic, closely connected with the personality of President Charles de Gaulle, was greatly affected by the Algerian War of Independence in consequence of which all social and political spheres of the country were impacted. The Evian Agreements of March 1962 established an independent Algeria and enabled Charles de Gaulle to carry out his own political conception, including greater openness to the Soviet Union and its satellites. Czechoslovak-French diplomatic and cultural relations in the years 1948-1968 correspond to large extent extent to the evolution of international policy with its alternation of easing and tightening of the geopolitical tension and they also reflect the changes in domectic political situation in both countries. Since 1948 the Czechoslovak...
Evangelical church of Czech brethren in the agency analysis of StB (State Security)
Dinuš, Peter ; Rychlík, Jan (advisor) ; Cuhra, Jaroslav (referee)
Obsahem naší práce je zpracování boje komunistické tajné policie proti největší protestantské církvi na území tehdejší České socialistické republiky - proti Českobratrské církvi evangelické (ČCE)- v rozmezí 50.-80. let dvacátého století. Agenturní rozpracování 1 ČCE Státní bezpečností (StB) bylo namířeno především proti činnosti Nové orientace (NO, církevní proud púsobící uvnitř ČCE), proti farářúm a laikúm, kteří ji reprezentovali nebo s ní byli spojeni. Do vedení církve i do vedení jednotlivých seniorátú dosazovala StB v zájmu "paralyzace a usměrňování" ČCE na cestě k její faktické likvidaci své tajné spolupracovníky, kteří v církvi vytvářeli tzv. vlivovou agenturu. Naopak poměrně minimální byl vliv NO v krajích Jihočeském, Severomoravském a Jihomoravském.
