The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the development of wheat commodity vertical, characterize the decisive markets commodity verticals and to describe their current development. The first part describes the basic concepts that are closely related to the topic of bachelor thesis. The thesis explains economic theories about the functioning of the market, agribusiness and describes the selected commodity with the course of the whole commodity verticals. In the second, practical part, are analyzed and graphically processed factors, which influencing the commodity market. The conclusion of the thesis is the evaluation of all acquired data and knowledge. The work evaluated the development of growing areas, production, yields, consumption and production, price development, as well as the foreign market. The growing market power was confirmed by the results of individual commodity verticals.

Analýza trhu biopotravin a trendů stravování v lokalitě Brno-město

The focus of the thesis “Analysis of the market of organic food and trends of catering in the region Brno-city” is the topic of organic food and products in terms of quality, in particular in relation to availability of organic food in shops and catering facilities. The thesis is divided into two parts - literary and experimental part. The work includes definitions of organic food, processing of organic food, and system of controls and their labeling, together with the laws relevant for organic farming. A substantial part of the thesis is devoted to analysis of the Czech market using a questionnaire survey and price monitoring of selected types of food. The questionnaire contains twelve questions focused on consumer preferences when buying organic food and eating organic quality meals. The conclusion contains results of the questionnaire summarized together with the comparison of food price monitoring in selected stores.

I. Welsh, O. Wilde: Punished Villains in The Bedroom Secrets of The Master Chefs and The Picture of Dorian Gray

The aim of this diploma thesis is a comparison of literary works The Picture of Dorian Gray (1891) by Oscar Wilde and The Bedroom Secrets of the Master Chefs (2006) by Irvine Welsh. The goal of this thesis is to emphasize common and contrasting features of these works. Initially, the thesis will focus on the brief biography of both authors and the description of literary movements that dominated the given periods. Further, the thesis will deal with the analysis of already mentioned books, it will emphasize some controversial topics, moral side of the works and the presence or absence of aesthetic concepts. The final part will focus on the comparison of the novels written by Wilde and Welsh. It will be focused mainly on the common themes, characteristics of the main heroes and the formal differences between the works.

Defoes's Robinson Crusoe and its Reflection in Literature in General and in Children's Literature

The aim of this bachelor thesis is a brief evaluation of Daniel Defoe´s work The Life and Strange Surprising Adventures of Robinson Crusoe of York, Mariner (1719) in literature in general and in children´s literature. The study focuses on a brief description of the schools of thought reflected in this novel, which is Enlightenment, Protestantism, capitalism and colonialism. It also concentrates on the analysis of selected works of literature in general and children´s literature that have been influenced by Defoe´s work. It notes similarities with Defoe´s novel and also observes the differences with it.
