Design of an experimental system with excitation by imbalance
Demura, Dominik ; Kšica, Filip (referee) ; Rubeš, Ondřej (advisor)
The topic of this diploma thesis is the design and construction of an experimental system driven by imbalance. The main part of the work was to design the structure to meet certain requirements. The most important part of the structure is the beam. The mounting method and beam dimensions were calculated numerically and verified analytically using FEM. The rest of the structure was adapted to the dimensions of the beam. The next part of the work consists of the correct choice of vibration motor and its control. At the end of the work, the whole experimental system was manufactured and tested. We measure the vibrations using an accelerometer and then process the data into graphs.
Dynamic analysis and prototyping of coilgun
Militký, Ondřej ; Musil, Filip (referee) ; Rubeš, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the description of the Gaussian rifle principle. It describes the physical principle, on which the device works, the design of the structure and its advantages and limitations. Furthermore, a computational model is created in the Matlab Simulink environment, which simulates the behavior of a projectile during a shot. Based on this model, a prototype Gaussian rifle is designed and constructed. The prototype is then tested and compared with a computational model to determine the overall effectiveness of the created rifle.
Prices of water and sewage in the Czech Republic
Rubeš, Ondřej ; Nowak, Jiří (referee) ; Tichá, Alena (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the problems related to the operation of water supply and sewerage systems in the Czech Republic. Due to the wide scope of the topic, the view is focused on the calculation of the water price for the customer. The bachelor thesis also describes the technical development of water management infrastructure, ways of operating water supply and sewerage systems, the development of water prices in individual regions and a description of the application for calculating water prices.
Control of power inverter with active rectifier
Klusáček, Jan ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Rubeš, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with design of control algorithm and control electronics for frequency converter designed for operation control of induction generator in small hydro power plant. The thesis consists of basic description of scalar control of induction machines by method of constant magnetic flux, suitable control electronics overview, user and integrated development environment overview and detailed description of user code. Validation of functionality of the user code by measurement with induction machine is also included.
Analog front-end for piezoelectric sensor
Wich, Petr ; Chalupa, Jan (referee) ; Rubeš, Ondřej (advisor)
The purpose of the thesis was to describe and compare the properties of analog front end for piezoelectric sensor circuits. First, the basic circuit was described, then the design and implementation of the current-to-voltage converter, the charge amplifier and the circuit for voltage sensors on the parallel resistor. There was construct measuring system for measurement of the circuits. At last was made measurement of the created circuits, results were compared with each other, and their properties described.
Nonlinear Energy Harvesting Devices
Rubeš, Ondřej ; Singule, Vladislav (referee) ; Maga, Dušan (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is focused on vibration energy harvester, which is a device converting kinetic energy of vibrations into electrical energy. The approximate dimensions of the device are ten centimeters, and the output power is in milliwatts. A device that generates such amount of power can function as a power source for communication modules and can be used for wireless sensors, which can be utilized for example in the Internet of Things. Existing devices are based on a simple linear oscillator, but they have a narrow operating frequency bandwidth, where they can operate effectively. The bandwidth extension of vibration energy harvesters using nonlinear characteristics is the main aim of this thesis. It leads to a design of a nonlinear device with wide operating frequency bandwidth that provides higher implementation in industry.
Energy harvesting generator for train track side
To by malo zvýšiť životnosť a spoľahlivosť zariadenia. S pomocou analógie magnetických obvodov a softvéru využívajúceho metódu konečných prvkov FEMM a Ansys Maxwell, boli navrhnuté tri rôzne synchrónne generátory s permanentnými magnetmi. Simulácia v prostredí Matlab Simulink dokázala, že výsledný návrh generátora je schopný dodávať priemerný výkon 5 W počas prechodu vlaku zo stlačenia pražca väčšieho ako 2 mm.
Vibration analysis of plates
Kubeš, Filip ; Machů, Zdeněk (referee) ; Rubeš, Ondřej (advisor)
The focus of this bachelor thesis is finding natural frequencies and shapes of thin plate, by using mainly the Chladni figures. Then there is requiered an experimental demonstration on plate excitated, designed acording to FEM model. FEM model was created using software Ansys 2019 workbench. The experiment have been done on plexiglass plate, steel square plate and steel rectangular plate, and aquired frequencies and shapes were compared with the model results. The plates were excitated by electrodynamic shaker from the company The Modal shop, inc. (type K2007E01).
High resolution digital light source design for automotive industry
Machač, Petr ; Rubeš, Ondřej (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
Digital high definition light sources are a new way of communication between car and other road users. By intelligent switching of high beam or projection of various warning or information symbols on the road a lot of even tragic traffic accidents can be prevented. The purpose of this thesis is to explore contemporary automotive lighting technologies, then to choose the appropriate technology for high definition light source and design a prototype of mechatronic lighting systém.
Power inverter with active rectifier
Dvořáček, Daniel ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Rubeš, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the principle of functions, constructions and possibilities of the control of inductions machines. There is also briefly described the issue of the power transducers from which the frequency converters are coming out, as well as is described here the process of designing of the power part of the converter.
